Not sure what his wage demands would be but, if we could get them to be fairly low, I reckon we should go for David Bentley. In fact, he's not the best injury wise thus we could get him on a pay as you play. Top quality player and his career would of been even more high profile had he not been as Injury prone
I used to be a fan of Bentley, but he never quite lived up to his early promise. I'm sure he'd do well in L1 but maybe not KJ's type of signing.
Career might've been better if, as soon as he got capped for England, he didn't become 'Charlie big b0110cks' and think he didn't have to put any effort in! . no thanks!
I think at this stage in his career he would really feel he needs to prove himself. As I said if we can get him on a cheap deal he would be a prem quality addition in our squad
It would be like a repeat of O'Hara - no thanks!

Am I alone in worrying that come next Tuesday morning, with the doubts and problems surrounding BS, KD, RJ and JOH, the only additions we will have made will be those 2 already in at a total outlay of £250K! Or am overly pessimistic. Barry.
Keeping Sako by the looks as bid just been rejected. golbourne from Barnsley coming in if medical goes ok - fee agreed.

We still have loads of players. Two for every position really. We don't need nor want any more permanent players without others leaving. Then there is always the loan market. Someone may correct me but we don't have any players on loan at the moment. Plenty can happen yet.
I'm pretty sure we'll be getting a couple of loanees in. Could do with some cover in the wide areas - Ishmail needs someone to put pressure on him on that right flank

According to several media outlets we have agreed a fee for barnsley full back
Scott Golborne and is under going a medical. if you we do sign him would rickets move to centre half forcing stears as third choice?
If Stears can't get into our team in L1 then there's no way I can see him staying especially after the rave reviews from Ipswich fans last season
Likewise I can't see Golborne coming to us and sitting on the bench when he's been a regular at Barnsley, so will be interesting to see how it pan's out. He can play anywhere down the left, so potential replacement for Sako? Hope not.
He's surely not a replacement for Sako, though I worry that he might be drafted in at a pinch in the same way that Ward was used as a utility player. Presumably, his primary role will be as a left back and I am pleased with this because having George as back-up fills me with dread. Moreover, he could help bolster up our midfield as a left side enforcer, an area where we still require some 'steel'.

We have signed Barnsleys LB Scott Goldbourne not sure when this will be released or how much for but he is on our books now.

Everything rosey at wolves, everyone getting along great. good team morale, good start to the season and maybe 1 or 2 more new faces.
We need more fans like you i'm sick of the conspiracy theorists who just moan and moan and moan. they say Moxey is blinkered but its them who are blinkered if they can't see we have a good thing going at the moment. you don't get 5000 league 1 ticket sales away if circumstances are dismal as they seem to think they are
