Ed who do you think is our best option as manager? {Ed001's Note - personally, I think Sean O'Driscoll deserves a shot. He did very well at Bournemouth, worked miracles keeping Doncaster in the Championship for years on end with no budget. But most of all, he plays attacking, attractive football. At least if the result went against you, you would still have a good time!}

Hi ed001 theirs been a couple of posts in favour of Zola/Wilkins what's your take on that as a pairing? {Ed001's Note - I can see the merits in it, not sure it would work though, you need someone to provide discipline and one to be an arm round their shoulder, in my opinion. Both of them are arm around the shoulder types, I just don't see it working.}

mick mccarthy to take coventry job with a bit of luck
tc on is way out

Mick's Premier League!

Yeah lets hope albion want him

McLeish to Albion :D:D:D

There is more chance of big fek ending up with us!

At least Roger Johnson might play for the club if Big Ginge was in charge lol

Coventry would do well with Mick. McLeish will be lucky to have a job anywhere in England next season.

Mick premier league are you mad !!

sky sports reporting FA have been given permission to speak to Roy Hodgson about the England job. so the chances are they will have a new manager in before us.

morgan please sack TC and moxey a half rotten cabage could do a better job no joke

Morgan should go with them he did nothing while we got religated.

Why do fans defend morgan.he has to approve all decisions and has the last say on everything so must take the most blame.

We defend him because we want to think of him as the good guy - the man who came in and rescued us after Sir Jack. Hard to tell tho' how much he's put in and how much has been generated by the club itself particularly in view of Prem revenues.
Still think he was the prime mover in getting Mick on his bike and I feel he would have done it sooner but for Moxey. Ed 001, do you have any thoughts on Morgan's role in relation to Mick going? {Ed001's Note - he was the one that sacked Mick, though he left it far too long in my opinion, against Moxey's advice. Also against his own desire to give the club stability, and a manager for the long term. That is why Connor was given the role, the manager Morgan wanted wasn't available and he didn't want to just give the job to anyone. So Connor came in as caretaker, in the hope it would make the players raise their game, as so often happens when a caretaker steps in, and keep the club in the Prem for the new guy to come in next season. Unfortunately Connor couldn't even manage to get the players playing at all, he was a complete failure.}

Thanks Ed 001. Do you think though that Morgan might have wanted to move Mick much earlier in the season, say when we hit that 5 match losing run in Sep/Oct. Is it possible that Moxey might have advised against it at that point? Secondly and it's a long shot is that manager Morgan wants still available/interested in the job? {Ed001's Note - he did at one point go home from a game and I was told he had said that he had had enough and it was time to get rid of Mick. But the next day he had calmed down, whether he had just slept on it and decided against it or someone had convinced him he was acting too hastily, I don't know. It is certainly possible Moxey convinced him against it, but I don't know for sure. All I know about the new guy, was that he was in the Championship and would be interested if they didn't get promotion.}

Ed - does that mean Morgan's man is still interested now it is a Championship job not prem? {Ed001's Note - as far as I am aware, the only thing that would have changed the guy's interest was his current team winning promotion. I think it was expected it would be a Championship team he would be taking over.}

Thanks ed - one of four then? {Ed001's Note - I would say Hughton or Holloway myself.}

Either would do nicely but prefer hughton. Seems more suited to our set up

Poyet

Let's hope if it is hughton that we have something concrete or he will be tempted onto the premiership merry-go-round that's gathering pace. Can't do much til after playoffs tho so more waiting for us.

TC will stay, he is like putty in moxeys hands and he wont get paid a great amount either!!! players love his easy going nature-training more relaxed! JOB DONE!
Morgans empire will feel the lack of prem cash and i fear the worse in terms of selling players and coming back up quickly.
this will be a true test for morgan's ambition, intentions and respect to the most loyal fans in the country!!
the stage is yours mr morgan do your turn and sort this out.
but what i have seen so far the decisions have been mis timed - weak and short sighted

And mis-informed
