If Sam Allardyce doesn't want a return to football until January 2017, we should give Edwards the job on a short term contract and move heaven and earth to ensure Big Sam takes over ASAP.

29 Oct 2016 09:05:33
Has that is what big Sam will be playing on. He is a mercenary of the highest order with very few scruples.

29 Oct 2016 09:17:58
I think if Edwards gets a couple of decent results we stick with him. Could be a new Eddie Howe.

29 Oct 2016 09:31:37
He could equally be the new Terry Connor or Dean Saunders.

29 Oct 2016 09:37:43
Could also be the new Terry Conner, he also has been invold with our awful defenders who can not defend or pass the ball, who ever we get as manager we need to bring in some quality defenders.

29 Oct 2016 09:47:16
Baza that's been said many times, whoever gets the job has got to drop Iorfa&Batth and bring solid replacmments in, a solid central midfielder who can steady young heads down wouldn't go a miss either.

29 Oct 2016 09:52:53
We can't take the 50/ 50 chance. We need a proven manager who will bring in his own successful backroom team. We do need an experienced defensive coach as well. I don't think we have one at present.

29 Oct 2016 10:01:52
Mick McCarthey brought in Gary Breen and KJ brought in Sam Ricketts. The new manager needs to do something similar because God knows when Williamson will play again.

29 Oct 2016 10:18:49
Personally I think the Greedy Alladyce should foxtrot Oscar. He trying to cover his arse in case something else comes out between no and clad as he's still under investigation! Good riddance. If we must go English I expect the Sunderland manager will be available soon and Alladyce going back there or just hire Pearson๐Ÿ˜‰.

29 Oct 2016 10:25:40
Isn't Moyes a scot?

29 Oct 2016 10:45:35
I wouldn't be adverse to taking Marco Silva. As I said earlier Alladyce is still under investigation until Xmas and he's not interested until Jan. Hmm! I wonder why. Perhaps more skeletons in the cupboard. Greedy so and so. I would love to see RE make a fist of it. Best young manager in the country is easily Eddie Howe, but he will end up at Arsenal. Eventually. ๐Ÿ˜‰.

28 Oct 2016 19:57:41
Don't think a new manager will be watching from the stands tomorrow Mr Tamworth keep of the beer ๐Ÿ˜€.

28 Oct 2016 21:06:02
Keep your eyes peeled then u can work it out for yourself.

28 Oct 2016 21:14:16
Irrespective of new manager, we need to try to get Scott Hogan from Brentford. Always on the move and really quick and sharp. We were interested when he was at Rochdale but Brentford took the gamble and despite major injury it looks like a good move.

28 Oct 2016 22:38:09
Like I said keep off the pop.

28 Oct 2016 19:27:16
To those of u not going to Blackburn tomorrow, watch the match on tv and I'd guess our new manager in waitin will either be with Big Jeff or def somewhere in the crowd?

28 Oct 2016 22:39:11
No chance.

29 Oct 2016 09:06:33
Nah you dream to much mate.

28 Oct 2016 19:17:32
Here's a suggestion and before I get my head bitten off just think about it for one minute
How about rowett down the road. look at what he does with crap players.
Now you've thought about it you can bite my head off.

28 Oct 2016 20:39:04
Can`t knock him. Done a good job for 2 seasons so far. Think Fosun will be looking for a "name" though.

28 Oct 2016 22:14:18
Agreed. just a thought. would be interesting to see what he could do with a budget though because he seems to talk a lot of sense and can motivate people.

28 Oct 2016 16:52:10
If we could tempt chris houghton away from Brighton i'd be chuffed. Obviously there in a better league position than us currently but our potential is far greater than there's in my opinion. i'd like to think he'd see it that way too.

28 Oct 2016 17:16:49
Turu. On paper Wolves are a bigger club than Brighton however they too are striving for the Premier League and also have a billionaire owner so the two projects are virtually similar. Our name alone may not be enough to tempt him away.

28 Oct 2016 17:35:50
He would be ideal I think' but I just don't think we are a big enough draw at the minute, taking into account our league position in comparison to where Brighton are.

28 Oct 2016 16:25:02
Glasgow rangers fan here guys. I've got a soft spot for your club wolves and i'm very interested to find out who is going to be your new manager as you are a very big football club. If you don't mind me having an opinion here guys I like many of you think big sam allardyce would be a great appointment but here's a manager I rate very highly and has an outstanding track record managing in the championship, he's not been mentioned yet, billy davies I truly think would be a terrific appointment as your new manager. What do you think wolves fans?

28 Oct 2016 17:03:16
Er no chance mate his times at Derby and Forest all ended in tears because he couldn't get his own way all the time
Great coach no doubt about that.

28 Oct 2016 17:36:36
Up the 'gers!

28 Oct 2016 15:34:39
Big Sam, Hodgson or Pearson for me in that order, all have vast expeirience, people on here moaning about Pearson' like they are going to have to deal with him on a personal level'however he gets his players motivated shouldn't matter a jot to a fan, as long as they are motivated to perform' ferguson at man u would probably have been similar in the changing room and on the training field, he wouldn't have taken any prisoners, and you didn't have man u fans moaning about him.

28 Oct 2016 23:56:13
Woy of the wovers Hodgson. can disapear of the face of the earth. seen more personality in a mouldy banana. plus he screwed us over when we lost 5-1. no thanks.

28 Oct 2016 13:54:36
Nigel Pearson can do one for me! What a P***K that bloke is. I honestly have no idea at the moment who my fav for the job would be. let's see how Edwards gets on in the next couple of games ay?

28 Oct 2016 14:59:53
Hopefully have someone in place mon or tues to set the team up for Derby Saturday lunchtime.

28 Oct 2016 13:18:24
Just wondering how other fans feel. In very tough conditions, Keith Curle has done a brilliant job at Carlisle. Former player as well. Unbeaten in 14 this season!

28 Oct 2016 16:00:34
Good call! Would be a great choice!

28 Oct 2016 16:20:53
Nice one! Could even be player/ manager with our lot at the back!

28 Oct 2016 22:41:50
Curle stop drinking.

28 Oct 2016 12:47:59
Bored of being a wolves fan. most fans are that used to second best they just nod there head and hand over the cash.

28 Oct 2016 10:27:49
Pearson 8/ 11. I won't mind him he is proven, plus if the players are under performing he can give them a kick in and he can tell us fans to f--k off as much as he likes as long as he delivers promotion! ๐Ÿ‘.

28 Oct 2016 12:53:13
Pearson would be my 2nd choice after big Sam.

28 Oct 2016 13:19:27
Detest the man, not what we need. Can do much better than a loudmouth bully who has had very little success.

28 Oct 2016 22:42:24
Pearson no thanks.

28 Oct 2016 09:02:28
If it isn't Sam I think recruiting home grown could be difficult with the quality of candidate available. They have already sacked one volatile bloke so would they want Pearson? There are many foreign managers doing well in England but you have to have the nouse to pick a Poccetino. Don't know much about Silva but he has had success and could maybe do better with our foreign players. Maybe we will be surprised at the end of the day, I hope so because we need stability at that level if we are going to hold our own never mind progress.
