In my opinion Lambert has definitely been sacked. His famous last words at end of season was as soon as the final whistle blew he's already be working on his first transfer targets with a view if getting his business done early. Instead he's barely said a word and the only transfer that's being talked about is his own 🤣.

28 May 2017 21:43:19
Anybody else getting totally fed up with this. they get your season ticket money on the back of promises which are then broken again. the way they treat us is appalling. they're just politicians in disguise.

28 May 2017 23:10:10
Jeff Shi for Prime Minister! Timtoo44, I completely agree with you mate. I do despair at times about how our club has been run.

28 May 2017 23:11:51
Stop worrying Timtoo44, it will get sorted you will find Santo will be new Coach and players will arrive, think its June 1st or 9th before they can sighn players anyway, so let's all chill out and have some faith in Fosun for a change, I think they will surprise we fans this year and will have learnt by there mistakes, hope so anyway.

29 May 2017 08:08:07
Why can't they sign players til then when Man City have already?

29 May 2017 09:57:08
Man City have agreed deals but players not signed.

I wander if he will go for Phil Neville as a coach.

29 May 2017 10:17:49
I might be wrong but I believe Phil Neville and his family had moved to Spain permanently. I remember in an interview he stated how much he and his family loved it out there and despite losing his job at Valencia he wanted to stay in Spain. Of course nothing is set in stone.

29 May 2017 13:00:41
Phil Neville actually resigned a couple of weeks ago and was not sacked. He stated he wants to move up into a Manager role somewhere. however joining up with Nuno may be an option, my words not his on the later.

28 May 2017 19:14:46
Hi guys. My mate who works in the Academy has just told me he met Felix Mourinho at Compton yesterday. I don't have a clue who he is bit if anyone can give me any insight on him, please tell me. Cheers lads.

28 May 2017 19:36:02
Jose's father.

28 May 2017 20:15:44
Is he looking for CBJ?

28 May 2017 21:35:52
He is the man who mows the indoor pitch at Compton .

28 May 2017 22:03:21
Felix mourinho is the guy who cuts the indoor pitch at Compton.

29 May 2017 05:28:22
Yes, jose's father. He was a goal keeper in his youth. I expect he was giving Carl Ilene some advice! 😂😂😂👍.

29 May 2017 07:59:39
Jose's cat.

28 May 2017 18:20:55
Jas is your source the same one who told you almost two weeks ago that karanka was about to be appointed let's face it most of us on here are in the dark as much as stevie wonder the realist seems to get things right so if he says nuno to be appointed that will do for me.

28 May 2017 22:00:33
Yes it is but then David Moyes quit Sunderland which put a spanner in the works as Karanka would prefer to stay up north for family reasons. Now the Leeds job is also available, he really isn't that interested. Why?

28 May 2017 13:38:53
Whoever our new manager will be if indeed we are getting a new manager let's hope he never loses a match or MR Tamworth will be demanding his head.

28 May 2017 13:49:47
Either way they will get the consistency that they crave. A new manager every 6 months.

28 May 2017 19:03:18
Here, here RKO, I'm just waiting for PT to call for the sacking of the next manager because I'm going to remind him of how ridiculous his vendettas are.

29 May 2017 11:46:41
Not vendettas! Just want what's best for Wolves and Lambert and past managers haven't been as our league position shows! U accept mediocrity I DONT!

28 May 2017 13:25:40
Your right coast but under this regime that is exactly what we are not going to get. you'll never change the Lambert haters on here and we know who they are but it'll all end in tears. THIS IS NOT THE WAY YOU RUN A SUCCESSFUL FOOTBALL CLUB.

28 May 2017 14:27:31
Agreed Timtoo. if indeed we change managers make sure he's a class act. Otherwise beware of what you wish for is what I say! Wenger runs Arsenal, decides who comes, who plays etc and that is that. 22 years in top 4. Now there's a quality manager! 😉👍.

28 May 2017 12:20:56
According to the mail Fosun will leave the choice of manager up to Mendes! Now if that is Nuno fair enough but if Mendes can get him a better gig in the prem then we could end up with another risky boss who will be gone in 6 months. I desperately want this to work but Fosun need to exercise judgement over hiring as well as firing. It can't all be left to Mendes or can it?

28 May 2017 13:00:20
I may be in danger of repeating myself but I would rather have Mendes than Therwell doing the negotiations.

28 May 2017 14:26:26
I think long term it's good for Wolves to have Mendes on board. If we get Nuno Espirito Santo that will be a case in point as he is way above our station given that at present we are just a mediocre Championship outfit. Hope we get him. Sooner the better, I am sure there will be a changing of the guard in terms of players and that has to be a good thing. I have nothing against people like Edwards, Batth etc. But they will never get us promotion and even if they did they are certainly nowhere near premier league quality. let's ring the changes. they are way overdue.

28 May 2017 15:26:27
GB, bit like putting a cat in charge of a mouse then, leaving Mendes to decide! 😂😂😂.

28 May 2017 12:00:33
We need at least three new strikers in case one gets injured (guaranteed) and it's two games a week for most of the season.

28 May 2017 12:34:27
Agreed WW! Quality at that otherwise we are back to crap again. 👍😉.

28 May 2017 11:55:27
Tony Pulis considering his future.
Wonder if he'd be interested in ressurecting
a sleeping giant instead of working for the minnows.

28 May 2017 12:51:50
TP wouldn't put up with any interference from Mendes. That's for sure. So no chance unfortunately! 😂😂👍.

28 May 2017 11:18:24
The new coach, whoever it is, is looking to bring in 6 players. This will include 2 defenders to replace Stearman and Williamson, 2 midfielders so that Price and Saville can be moved on for a fee, 1 striker and a keeper. The likes of Morgan White and Conor Ronan are to kept away from the 1st team and will be loaned out to lower league clubs to gain experience. Mendes, Shi and co have already spoken to the club's about player availability. The board will present a list of 20 players to the new coach and say pick 6. He will have no say on the players himself.

28 May 2017 11:26:23
Jas behave your self pal lol.

28 May 2017 11:29:07
If your right? He's given a list of 20 players and bein given the chance to bring in 6? That's sound can't see the problem as those 20 will prob be better than we've got now! As long as he fits round pegs in round holes, has a plan B, can man manage and motivate then everything will be sound!

28 May 2017 11:36:21
That's how modern football works. Most famous case is Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool when the commitee selected the players.

{Ed001's Note - Rodgers had final say, it was just a convenient excuse to blame the committee when players did not work out.}

28 May 2017 11:45:24
Yes Ed, a poor workman always blames his tools.

{Ed001's Note - exactly.}

28 May 2017 11:50:02
Ok. I'll take your word for it Ed. But I think work is already being done in the background by Mendes etc so that new players are as good as in as soon as the new coach is unveiled. Gone are the good old days of the likes of Cloughie when managers had sole control of players coming in and out. The new players will be of a better standard than what we have at the moment.

{Ed001's Note - you don't need to take my word for it, Rodgers himself made it clear many times in numerous interviews.}

28 May 2017 12:03:48
Jas M working on your theory it's to be hoped we don't have any injuries to our strikers, and that the one acquired he can play at least 46 matches - be injury free, I say this because our existing crop of strikers couldn't strike a match between them, could they? As for the other 5 that make up the six let's hope they are quality and that the new manager coming in totally agrees with the choice of personnel! I can just see what RAFA at Newcastle would say for example! It's not repeatable on this site though. 😂😂😂😂👎👎👎.

28 May 2017 12:07:14
As for that's how modern football works, you would need to check that out with the current coaches in the leagues, from Jose downwards. I say that even though Mendes is his agent. When it comes to who he wants he tells them not the other way around! 😂😂😂.

28 May 2017 12:12:49
Love Jas Ms sense of humour. Can I have some of what he's on please 😂😂😂.

28 May 2017 12:50:56
Wolvescoast. All I'm going to say is read the Walter Zenga interview a few weeks after he left us where he implied that the players were more or less forced upon him. Same with KJ with the likes if Tommy Rowe, Nathan Byrne etc.

28 May 2017 13:00:41
So we're going to carry on without any kind of left back?

28 May 2017 13:11:44
Zigwolf. I'm sure one will be on the list. But saying that CBJ was immense for us last season wasnt he! Maybe Deslandes might be given a chance. We'll have to wait and see.

28 May 2017 09:14:33
Con this Santo spake English?

28 May 2017 09:41:02
Better than you can write it Rosie 😉😉.

28 May 2017 10:13:56
Think it's fair to say, he speaks better English than Lambert does.

28 May 2017 07:28:07
No wonder Lambert hasn't walked out yet like he did at Colchester Norwich and Blackburn, no it's not for his love of the club it's for a near million quid pay off. Nearly over now he's nearly gone 👍.

28 May 2017 07:35:15
Come on Fosun take him to court for fraud! Impersonating a coach! 😂.

28 May 2017 09:46:38
Well said Paul.

Money under false pretences, with a smarmy grin while he did it too.

28 May 2017 20:49:09
It won't be long now Wolves fans for Santo to be appointed and then we will find out who we intend to sighn, exciteing times ahead Wolves fans got to be better than the dire footy we played at home, that was Lamberts downfall, nobody would keep a coach in charge with performances like we played at home and then for Lambert to say we played well in most of these games was takeing the micky, another thing about Lambert was that it was hard to understand what he was on about most of the time which to be honest made him boreing to listen to and made me think that he wasnt good enough for me, but that's only my opinion, the two sighnings he brought in only Marshall would get my vote, Weighman is other sighning good worker and run all day but we need someone who can give we 15/ 20 goals and I don't think Weighman will give you that.
