I'm hearing from within Molineux that the new Head Coach will be none of the names previously mentioned.

If you know that much why not spread a little more like, open up or shut up.

So where was the big announcement at 12 toady? Do we really want Owen Coyle anyway one season wonder with Burnley no loyalty. Kenny Jackett much better record at this level and above. Pains me to say it as I hate the bloke but Neil Warnock is the man for the job as he would sort the overpaid muppets out and stand up to the board to. Think there may be something in the rumour that Thelwell will get it though.

Loyalty? I don't think Wolves are in any position to expect loyalty having fired 4 managers in little over a year.

Whilst I realise Morgan & Moxey are in a bit of a lose/lose situation regarding the time they are taking over appointing a new manager (If they made a speedy decision it would have been slated, whilst taking their time means the fans get impatient) I think it must be time for that decision to be made quickly now.

Martinez has left just Wigan, there's still the vacancy at Stoke to fill, Millwall and Sheffield Utd too. I can see our candidates going elsewhere at this rate.

Yeh, that seems to me to be the point Andy W. Four weeks in and nothing. And, by the way, we've seen all this before with the TC and SS "appointments". And all from the same geezers at the top, not that anyone's missed it.

Compare this to United, Fergie resigns, Moyes appointed, a reasonable time interval between the two events. Everton - Moyes goes and now Martinez lined up for interview. In both instances proper management - at the top - they know who they want and go for it. Stoke talking to Hughes. And so it goes.

Rightly or wrongly clubs look at who they want and go out and get 'em. For Wolves tho' it's different. A long drawn out process - you know the one, where we have to be absolutely sure we've got the right man - uh huh, and still manage to make a pig's bottom out of it, repeatedly. That says to me the people at the top don't know and are not working together.

So to complete the set, what's the bets the new manager's contract won't start until 1 July?

Is it any wonder we're League One?

If the rumours are true then Gareth Southgate has now been linked with the Head Coach role.

I think he'd be a better option for the Director of Football role personally.

Anyone think he'd be a good option for us?

Wolves confirm they are only half-way through the process so other contenders will be considered. Maybe still hope for Steve Davis?

I am beginning to wonder if they have offered the job to someone and they have turned it down. Maybe the candidates have had a good look at the job specification and thought, no thanks.

Can any one else see the Head Coach going to Tony Daley who they thought would be the best candidate for the job!
Me thinks that Thelwell has found the candidates but now Moxey has rerturned its a case of who's the cheapest and wants less for players.

That's been the pattern of late. Nobody expected Connor, Solbakken or Saunders.
