Sorry to see nouha go and really, really hope nuno and Mendes have got this under control with at least 2 strikers maybe 3 now coming in. We need proven championship quality and experience or I have a horrible feeling this season will go pear shaped. Don't want to sound negative but we have 1 fairly inexperienced unproven striker on our books so I can only assume deals are done already and will be announced very, very soon! In nuno we trust but it's a case of having to now! What if deals fall through? What then? They have got pretty much everything right this summer so far so hope and pray the last bit falls into place. COYW.

Surely they have already two strikers in place waiting to sign on dotted line. now dickos going. i'm certain nunos got everything in hand. so looking forward to anouncements this week. can't wait. forever wolves.

The rumours are one striker, one central midfielder and a left back. Don't know we'd need a left back with Douglas and vinegar as both look class. Right back I could understand as cover for Doc or even a first choice right back.

Should be ok with full backs I can think of 6 on our books if you count Marshall

CM probably ok as without Edwards we have Saiss and Price defensively and Neves Bright Zyro and Cav all able to play behind striker

But we needed a new striker even before Bod Mason and Dicko left Bonatini looks ok but not so far better than the others and if he is injured do we play Donovan Wilson? We must have a big signing coming it doesn't make sense otherwise.

Spot on telfordwolf and oldwolf I agree 100% telford, I can not see your thinking I respect your opinion but how I see dicko is he shoots at goal in hope it will go in we need a striker who knows confidently that he's gona score at every shot. dicko not good enough imo the young lad wilson better option off bench.

With all this speculation that WW are about to sign a British striker, Ashley Barnes, Jordan Rhodes or Hugill, I just can't see it myself. The work that Nuno has done has been to change the style and introduce "on the floor" football. Hardly the style of the traditional British striker and he's not going to change the way he believes the game should be played. I expect that in the next couple of days we will see one if not two continental strikers; mobile, skillful players rather than burly battering rams; arrive as well as a midfielder, Palhinha. Probably on initial loans, to me that would be a lot more logical, and help to circumvent FFP.

A striker who has all round game a must imo. if we want promotion there no room for sentiment dicko imo just int good enough hence bonotini not fully match fit starting ahead of dicko. sell dicko to get money in and buy a striker who is going to score the goals to get us up. someone in the class of neves will be perfect. living the dream coyw.

I doubt if Dicko is fully fit after being out of the game for 18 months.

Can't see aboukakar signing he having storming start to season - not sure but think suspended for a Europe game also think would take stupid £ convince his club to sell or loan him out.
