Report on HITC that Spurs want Costa. £20m plus we get Josh Onomah on a season long loan. No thank you. There's a very good reason why Onomah can't get a regular place in the team. We don't want clubs cherry picking our best players and loaning us their dross.

Did you see/ read, the Jeff Shi interview yesterday Jas?
He made it perfectly clear he intends keeping Costa.

I know money talks in football, but it will be a major statement if prem clubs come knocking with big money bids for Costa, and we turn them down.

Not saying this deal should go through but to call Onomah dross shows you don't know anything about him. The reason he can't get in the side is because Spurs have a very good side and at 20 this kid is not ready for the prem yet. He has though made 13 appearances.
I hope we don't sell Costa but if we did and we wanted a loan player this would be a deal worth taking.

Im still convinced that the suprise exit will dave edwards going to huddersfield. Been a great servant and ambassador for the club but with his age I think he's after one last swansong in the premiership . It was also interesting that when the new kit was launched they had dicko and batth in the picture promoting it. Would have thought it would have been edwards seeing as he stepped in as captain at times last season.

I believe Edwards is still on holiday. He wasn't at the first day of training so I doubt he would have come back for the kit launch.

I think Edwards is a good squad player, with better players around him def worth his place.

We needed to get rid of a few, many were getting to cosy but the basis of the team was ok, our downfall was our home form and for that the manager has to take responsibility.

5 quality player with the remains old squad would have been fine, the way its going with players out and those rumoured to be leaving we'll have 11 new players, I'm to old to learn that many names and not speaking portugese is a drawback.

Really pleased to hear Dicko may be leaving. he was a good striker in the 1st Division! That's the old 3rd Division.
