Should we be worried about league 1 football next year?

No mate, we'll walk league one lol

It has to be a possibility. I believe we'll stay up but we should be 10-20 points ahead of where we are now, so hard to be confident.

Once Deano's team wins a match we'll forget the bad times.

Won't we?

Mate we will need to win more than 1 match at this moment in time, can you please tell me who we are going to beat, after losing to ipswich p"boro blackpool at home, mind you being a wolves fan we will probably go to leicester and win, which would be absolutely briliant if we did wolves for life

Beating Leicester would feel good. But we need to be winning against the teams around or just below us (Ipswich, Blackburn, Peterbrough hmmmmm) to really reap the rewards.

Will get a few disagrees here but I went to the game yesterday and thought we looked ok. Pesko worked hard and sako looked a class above the rest, o'hara had some nice moments (and when he's played more will be an asset) Blake took his goal well and I thought Zubar was outstanding. The first goal for them was obviously a complete cock up and their second was good from Ince but we stood and watched. blake missed a sitter and we had plenty more good attacks, should have won really. more of the same for the remainder of this season with hopefully a couple of additions I think we will be safe and finish strongly. keep the faith. Stone Wolf.

Finally someone with sense. thank you god... positives finally from a game but people only saw the result

Positives... you kiddin me right now ?

Its like getting riddled with bullits from a drive by and taking positives that they didn't hit your privates lol

Is the second post from DS?

Get Danny fox in from southampton

Would he be able to bring Adkins with him?

If only Adkins was available when SS got the sack.

Adkins this, Adkins that. People need to realise it's not the managers fault. Fergie would struggle at our place at the moment.
You can't manage with 1 arm tied behind your back and until Jez stops doing things on the cheap we will go nowhere.
I posted at the start of the season that we could do what we did in the early 80's and people laughed. Not laughing now!
Speculate to accumulate is the way forward.
Jez thinks go and buy from clubs in trouble and get things on the cheap.
Go to Primemark in their biggest sale, but don't expect to pick up a quality garment.
GET MOXEY OUT.

Agree until moxey stops buying on the cheap, we will keep getting in the same mess, need to stop buying to many average players, that we can't get shut of, and pay that bit extra, for fewer players that have a sell on value, and inprove the side, we must learn quickly and stop making same mistakes and firstly stop wasting money wolves for life

On that basis we should have stuck with Mick. But we went with Stale and signed some great players after selling 3 of our best to premier clubs.

And we want Deano to do the same. The old guard are a failed back 4 and bunch of premier substitutes. Deano needs to overhaul these guys asap.

Exactly, but he is reliant on being backed by the morgan / moxey. hear lies the problem.
get moxey out.

27 Jan 2013 20:49:57
We must be the laughing stock of english football. What a total cock up.. Selling best players, keeping dross.. I don't get it, yet they build a new stand.. We are Wolves, and being run like a conference side.
Briwolfie

Think you'll find that accolade goes to Villa at the moment!

After last weekend not just Villa.

Love to know what the Luton manager feeds his players on.

27 Jan 2013 19:41:34
The only good news for us at the minute is that
The bottom 3 aren't picking up many puts either
And playing just as bad as us

It's often like that. And it's our saving grace. Those early wins have been essential to our survival chances. Imagine the season startnig 10-15 games ago. We'd be bottom probably.

27 Jan 2013 19:28:55
Few questions..

Ikeme is he all that? Yes, he has made saves a plenty but also conceded far to many from distance for me.

If Johnson was to depart is Bathh much worse? Thinking otherwise the kid will be looking away from the club to kick-start his career (for those who say play the two together, this will not work without a lop sided defence.

All these full backs none of which seem to understand A: cut the crosses out or B: when we have it don't punt it long and give ball back to opposition. Which is the best combination and would Henry be a good choice for LB?

Does Ohara have the midfield presence (defensive and attacking) to command a central position, or should he operate on the left?

Goalscoring and up top presence is lacking. SEB scores but seems a target - who should start, Sako/Sigi to be given chance?

Who do we think should be going or coming in the window?

Our golas against record isn't so bad. We just need to score more. I think Ikeme is better than average in this league, so we should stick with him.

Agree with last text take chance with henry at full back, seams to me that's is position, aso think he could be very good there in this league, think he was full back at stoke, that's if he would play there, because our players seam to do what they want, not what manager wants.

27 Jan 2013 20:20:42
i do think before I type! I just forget sometimes you get the odd muppet on here that picks on minor things but never constructive!lol

27 Jan 2013 20:18:55
Can someone wake me up and tell me this is all a bad dream.

Wake up dorothy, your not in kansas anymore !!

So why do we have a scarecrow up front?

More like a bunch of munchkins.

27 Jan 2013 18:57:16
I'm starting to think its not the players or manager but the actual club? There's something going wrong within the Mol. Opinions?

No it's the players the Manager and the Club, it being Run into the Ground by nomarks who don't give a toss. P.J.

God sake... He has put millions into this club just cause he hasn't bought messi and Ronaldo you lot think he's just banking it... He's put a whack into the team overall... He's put money into the stadium and promised more (when people ain't going- he won't justify spending the cash) and he is building a training ground that's going to be among the best in the country- developing our own talent... Stop wishing for Morgan and Moxey out cause we could end up in a lot of debt with owners like the Venkys or the Hong Kong persons at Blues..

You mean developing the talent we never use or sell to make him a profit, and yes we will have one of the best grounds and academy's in Div One. Spend on the 1st team now or we sink. P.J.

Most of the money he has spent at our Club as come from promotion to the Prem and parachute money and of course selling our best players. P.J.

The venkys and the blues are above us and will finish above us, Blackburn will make the play offs.

They won't (make the play offs). And even if they do, what then? Get promoted and then get their clubs into even more debt and go thumping down again like Portsmouth?

Short of having stinkingly rish owners like City and Chelsea, the clubs which punch above their weight are like Everton and Wigan in prudent, stable private ownerhip.

BCWYWF
(be careful what you wish for :-))

Lets hope bham get deducted 10 points 1 less position at bottom to worry about because that's how serious it is wolves forever

If we stay up because only another team gets relegated by default then that's nothing to be proud about. Embarrassed more like.

I'd rather we went down fighting. But let's stay positive. We are not going down.

27 Jan 2013 18:15:04
Yippee - nearly Early Bird time! lol

Great...where is the ticket office, I'll camp out for mine :(

I was thinking of nailing this years season ticket to the molenuex in protest, but i'm worried some one might nick my nail !

Mills wolf

27 Jan 2013 17:57:57
I think we should sign Stuart Downing in the transfer window he would fit in great with the eleven useless overpaid persons that turn out for us everyweek lol

I've never much rated Downing. But that's really as an international player. Compared to where we are and what we've got, he'd be worth adding to the squad for sure.

If he could take a pay cut, that is.

27 Jan 2013 17:16:23
who wants to have a bet with me that 1-we don't sign a single player in the january window and 2-we get relagated!
must be some takers out there that want to bet against me! (more chance of me being right!)

I have 40/1 on us going down. the head rules the heart i'm affraid.

27 Jan 2013 23:43:51
I'll take that bet, we will at least sign one in this window, not sure about league one though probability at the moment on current form, we need a total rebuild.
Siewolf

Its a bet I don't want to win but its a value bet as it stands. Things will get worse before it gets better as well.

I think they will only be loan players probly a couple 2 keep fans happy, need something before match at leicester, doyle was awful saturday needs putting out is misery, terrible partnership with blake neither 1 can hold ball up long enough for players to get round them, need big target man in this division, who can put is self about and win balls in air, which we havnt got i'm afraid, and then give siggy a go with him freshen it up nothing to lose anymore, can't go on as we am. wolves forever

Maybe Marlon will be here in time for that. Up front with Siggy? Could be interesting.

But we know it will be SEB or Doyle or both up front for us.

Yes, I see it as loans or frees. If Deano really thinks he can attract players from the prem that is.

27 Jan 2013 17:13:35
lets get things right-its not micks, stales or deans fault-the fault lies with our totally s**t defence.we got relegated because of it and now possibly into league 1! too many defensive mistakes week in week out.when was the last time we bought a good quality defender(dont say johnson just because we paid well over 5 million! I never blamed morgan or moxey before but now I do as they won't spend a penny on anyone! greedy fat bast**ds

Youve just contradicted yourself, by saying they don''t spend a penny on any one would mean they didn't spend the 5 million on roger johnson...think first type second

27 Jan 2013 17:01:25
The best and worst thing that happened to Wolves in recent history was when McCarthy was appointed as Manager and only had Jody Craddock in the team. The whole were cleared out and we had to rebuild. The first season was about consolidation and the crowd were behind the Manager whilst he cemented a team together who could make a claim to the championship title. We became a team associated with 'putting a shift in' and hard graft. We gained promotion on the back of that ethos and prolonged our honeymoon period in the premier league with some great victories over big prem teams because of our never say die attitude. Then it started to unravel and that is when the money should have been put in but the team has now become the old pair of slippers that you can't part with.

We need to clear out the current team and start from scratch again. God knows who the team could be built round - we desperately need a Jody Craddock The other vital component is a manager with Championship experience who could get us out of this god forsaken league. Unfortunately, we don't have that either. But we have a new manager and he needs to build his team (just as SS should have been allowed to do.) Unfortunately, the backing seems to be missing and Morgan seems to have realised what a money pit owning a football club really is.

Hoping we can write this season off and still have the luxury of being a Championship club with the chance to re-build. Let's take that chance next sieason and highlight summer signings now.

Out of darkness etc etc etc

27 Jan 2013 16:59:31
Just watching Oldham against Liverpool....
How on earth can they play like that against premiership team and we can't play like that in the championship??
Like smith centre forward 6'6 exactly what we need powerful big and scores !!
We have to freshen our team up as they are mentally gone
SC

Could be because Liverpool had a rubbish defence. A bit like ours.

Jose Baxter nuff said.weve got Henry Davis doumbia Edwards Ohara but would trade the lot for Jose Baxter of Oldham.would trade Doyle and seb for their front two.would trade Ikeme for their keeper.and o. And on and on they would have beaten us like a red headed step child.

Beaten us like a red headed step child? What does that mean?

Not hard to work out really is it mate ..

M420

27 Jan 2013 16:51:34
:-

WOLVES to sign fred shuttlecock from the horse and hound. he been around a bit but a proven goalscorer 1 in his last 50 games. likes a drink or two and a couple of pies, so should get on with some of the team and also like doyle can't stay on his feet for two minutes. Has quite a few injuries but deano can get the best out of him He is a master at hoof ball that where he gets most of his goals (1in50games).
the only problem is we got to pay 2 ferrets and a rabbit for him and morgan an moxey are having palpatations at paying that much for him. they know he is what we need to get us back in the prem . but need the 2 ferrets to pay for a new left back....
WATCH THIS SPACE exciting news aye....

Weasels dealing in ferrets lol

Typical once again we net a shuttlecock.

27 Jan 2013 15:58:32
So, those of us who backed Stale's attempt to change the mentality of the game at our club were lambasted as happy clappers and blind, ...hope everyone who wanted him out (Paul tamworth idealist etc) are delighted with what that has wrought upon the club! Yes it's the same players, but at least SS had the idea of changing the style for the better, not back to the hoof and hope mentality we have again now! We had the opportunity for change at the club and you blew it by being impatient!!

One, we were not protesting he went because of the results and performances there were no open demonstrations. second, the football is now far better than it was under him, least we created a chance saturday, they were lucky and we lost because of a lack of confidence and solidity, neither thing that was instilled in them by solbakken. when the mistakes stop and the belief rises there will be more goals going in at the right end and less at ours, don't panic after 3 games

NO we lost cuz we ain't any good, come back S.S. and get rid of this Crap. WFE

I'd prefer to see players with talent and skill rather than heart and spirit. They say those two things are the crux of the problem with the English game - we produce more cloggers than flair players. Solbakken was trying to bring skilled players into our team and succeeding. Saunders is trying to bring Jason Scotland into our team. No prizes for guessing who I'd rather have as manager.

How exactly is the football better? the ball went higher granted and was hoofed forward more often towards the goal however if that is better football then I am stuck in an episdoe of ashes to ashes - blackpool in posession played us off the park and found their man

Total crap, Morgan hasn't employed one decent manager, don't blame Paul Tamworth don't blame the realist blame the redman, he calls the shots we pass an opinion, we care he doesn't, protest loud, protest long, don't shoot the messenger.we care and tell it as we see it .......the realist.

Think I speak for all wolves fans in saying that we need action, not words coming from players who are crap, and we are not stupid enough to believe a manager, who says we should not of lost, but we did lose deano, and it just goes on and on same mistakes every week, we now the fans that this will take a bit more than fine tuning and its countdown 3 days left for new players or i'm afraid we are going 1 way, the way the fans said we will go if we don't invest and get shut of deadwood wolves for life

27 Jan 2013 15:45:58
well one player who won"t be joining us is warnock from the vile. he"s off to west ham on a free transfer according to the telegraph.

27 Jan 2013 15:29:32
Haven't been on since yesterday morning! Has Paul Tamworth called for Saunders head yet? If not why not? The football he's getting the team to try and play is awful at best. Also I'm sick and tired of interviews with the players saying how great training is now and that Saunders is taking us in the right direction, making us more solid! They must all want to play in Div 1 next season!

We are in serious trouble! And to think we thought things were bad under Connor!

The fact is mate the football is now a ore entertaining thing to watch, the fans were disappointed wit the result but there were positives too, under solbakken there were none, so shut up

Agree is very serious more performances like this and there's only one way we are going, unhappy with team selection, very negative and boring line ups, no dramatic changes to get fans excited same crap, hope we stay up and sort this mess out up the wolves

Just looked at the form guide - we are bottom with blackpool second from bottom - leciester second behind Cardiff so can't wait until thursday - but at least DS knows the formula of success! I'd hate to think where we'd be if he didn't.

That's absolute guff. Where are these positives? We had no shape, no communication and generally no clue on Saturday. We're playing hoof ball too, which is another minus. Saunders out.

Lol to the guy who told me to shut up! Obviously more people agree with my post! Sooner DS gets binned the better!

Graham Turner would be a far better option than Saunders!! Far far better! In fact Bernie Clifton and his comedy ostrich would do a better job than Saunders! Saunders is an absolute joke!!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks Saunders football is crap! There are no positives at all with this clueless person in charge!

27 Jan 2013 15:20:35
i am fed up of reading how mick has ruined our club, apart from 2 league cups and fleeting visits we haven't been a top club for the last 30 years. He took our club from nothing and got us to the prem for 3 years and made the club a considerable profit on the way in transfers and revenue. The problem with our club is fans who automatically think we should be in europe and don't have the patience to build. We are in this mess now because instead of getting behind our club last season we booed and drove out our most successful manager in decades.Wigan fans see a struggle every year and still support their club, and for those thinking we are a bigger club, ask yourselves how many years we have had in the prem.Get behind our club.

I agree...that's why we should have stuck with Stale, it was work in progress and it was going to be painful but sorry to say DS is taking us backwards

He has ruined our Club, open your eyes.WFE

You are so right, I used to take my eldest son who is now 22 and we had some great times, I started to take my youngest lad 12 a few seasons ago but stopped after Newcastle at home due to the abuse and the fact that the person next my son was becoming quite violent towards Mick, scared the hell out of my lad. Even when we are on tv the pundits always say, "get on top of wolves and the fans will turn" and they are so right! .... The club is a mess but some need to support and not assist the club to the gutter!

Terry / Mick

Thank you for your post but I think you are wrong.

The reason we are were we are is because we relied "on grafters who put in a shift" instead of thinking we got ourselves of the championship by grit and determination, lets stay there by skill and ability.

Your assessment is correct about history and expectation and I for one accept we are no longer a force in English football but I do not accept that QPR, Wigan, Reading, WBA, Norwich, Fulham, Southampton etc are any better than ourselves, they are (in my opinion) lessor equals, that is why I consider that the players should achieve as a minimum there standards

Simply put, your argument suggests we should shut up and accept what we are given and be grateful.

Grateful for what !!!!!!

Mick is responsible for the state we are in gross mis management is evident now if he had been in industry he would have been sacked long before he was it would take stan cullis bill shankly brian clough and alex ferguson to sort this lot out poor old deano doesn't know what he has walked in to

I am not saying put up and shut up. The point I am making is our expectations for the club are unrealistic. After the best part of 30 years in the old 2nd division and championship, we get promoted and expect to be a top 10 club. I would love this to be the case, god knows the last time I have enjoyed the weekend or picked up a paper on the sunday morning looking forward to reading our report, but, it was a knee jerk reaction last feb [by fans and the chairman] that cost us our place in the prem and also the right man to have taken us back up if we had gone down. At the moment I think the prem is as far away as it has ever been.

27 Jan 2013 14:51:55
Wolves will not spend ... Morgon wants to save
Money... He will sell club in summer, new owners
Have already agreed... Close friend of Morgans say
Indian company will take over the club....I for 1 don't
Agree with this .. Just saying what I no

Any one is better than Morgan with the grease monkey next to him!

27 jan 2013 14:16:42
steve morgan having talks with god!
hope its true because we need a miracle or two!

27 Jan 2013 14:10:19
I think it's fair to say that Morgan and the board will have written this season off. Don't expect any transfers in Jan, certainly nothing game changing is going to happen.

The Championship is all about getting the top two spots; the playoffs are a lottery. Looking at the table it's unrealistic to expect Wolves to challenge for automatic promotion, our objective will be to consolidate our position in the league and let Deano make his mark.

Wolves aren't playing well, but there are at least 3 teams worse than us in the league - so why would Morgan want to spend money in Jan just to push us higher up the table, it would be a meaningless gesture. Plenty of players will be put in the shop window during the second half of the season; you can expect radical changes in the summer when Morgan's going to have to show his hand. He's either looking to sell (having got the books looking healthy and the stadium expanded - attractive to an investor) or he's going to put his money where his mouth is.

I agree with your summation, but it is down to chronic poor leadership that has allowed this to happen. We have to rely on that same poor leadership to steer us through the plan, and keep us up. I would not wager my cash on a successful outcome. If we do and I hope we do, it will be luck not judgement who is our saviour!

Wimbornewolf

3 teams worse than us!
Have a look at the form table since the beginning of October as you might change your mind.

Fans have just got face up to the
Fact we are rubbish the only thing
We can do now is hope we stay in this league and rebuild for next year and hopefully put in a good push for promotion. Worst case scenario we go down and do a Norwich and Southampton could be for the better of the club
Djwolf

Like to now 3 teams worse than we can somebody please tell me

Although I agree with the above post in theory, there is one major flaw in it.if something isn't done soon, there is a high chance that our beloved wolves will be plying their trade in division one next season.

Big ground being one third filled, massive wage bill as no one wants our squad..that's not such an ideal business model.

If Morgan and Moxey are not careful, we could end up doing a Coventry..

That's frightening

Got to agree with last post is getting more serious by the day, and I dread to think of no activity in transfer market thursday, and without being a defeatest losing to leicester would be the worst week for our club in ages, so I want to look on the bright side and hope we get what we want thursday, and turn the corner, wolves for life.

27 Jan 2013 14:06:53
Everyone on bout Jackson at Norwich but what bout Morrison from them instead? More of a target man Wich is what we need with hoof ball tactics

Cus he won't come. simples.

27 Jan 2013 13:52:37
would like see zubar center with johnson and sell berra and drop henry to rb don't want henry in team atall but all our managers keep him in team so if we got keep him put him rb,
de vries
henry johnson zubar stearman
hammil ohara sako siguardson
ebanks cassidy
just a team i'd pick out of the crap we got rather have new lb rb, two strikers aswell butt tight morgan want spend

We would lose every match 5-4 with that team, its too attack minded

We lose any match any way, best type of defence is attack, more we up there half less they in our half

27 Jan 2013 13:22:20
Just shows how poor our squad is, Ward injured before KO and no proper LB to play. I expect Dean is waiting to assess George when he is fit. Can't wait to see who the new marque striker is. Need him, and more, in before thursday or Leicester could punish us big time. Hope Dean starts with Siggy and at least puts Hammill on the bench.

Leicester could punish us? I think I'm going to the game, am expecting at least 5-0 or worse, and I know loads of Leicester fans which will be just great. We're going to get taught a proper lesson.

Ian C

27 Jan 2013 13:14:55
I think we can now forget about Griffiths coming back after the latest episode he has been involved in. However I would still like Hammill to be brought back in the fold for thursday to play alongside our new marque striker!

I also would like to see hammill back in side how many other fans would like to see him text on here

27 Jan 2013 13:11:20
If Dean does not start some serious rethinking before thursday we could be in big trouble. Need the obvious positions strengthened plus start with Siggy, Hammill and Baath, got to be bold, no good playing for a draw.

27 Jan 2013 13:06:57
I am starting to get irritated by the 'spin' coming from Dean, such as 'we have a solution for it' - 'we already have many good players, may not need any more' etc. etc. and where is the 'marque striker' he was taking about? We had many marque strikers over the years such as Murray, Farmer, Crawford, McIlmoyle, Curran, Dougan, Richards and Bully. Our current strikers just a pale shadow of these.

Where is the money that SS would have been spending now?

27 Jan 2013 12:36:36
Agree with a lot of you lot on here, the teams we put out week after week are as enthusiastic as the board, everyone is too comfortable, the only people who squirm in their seats each week are us the fans. Now you talk of protesting, great, but make an impact, turning you back ain't going to make a blind bit of difference. Something colourful, visual. Nothing better than an old gold and black shirt thrown onto the that lovely green grass around the pitch before the game, not that expensive one you bought this season, one of your old ones and do it when the camera's are here, that's impact, no need to cause trouble, just gently thrown onto the ouside of the pitch, surely that will make the, upstairs sit up and think.

You've paid for the shirt so they're happy-loads of empty seats now that's just embarrassing ........

27 Jan 2013 11:55:34
we paying players well over the weekly salery they are worth, and they still not willing put a good performance in get rid them big earners who do nuthink for us, got bechio on 10 grand at leeds 19 goals doyle on about 30 grand never score get rid of them, better boys out there who get payed less

27 Jan 2013 11:36:17
morgan got to go he's a money man no heart for wolves at all, he wouldn't want to see us in the state we are in now otherwise, employing cheap managers who got crap records to save coin yet again, and top it off got saunders saying the team is good and don't need much change, how can he say that we useless, I know why he saying it cause he managed poor clubs and if he's comparing our players to wrexham we will look good, he got wake up realise this is the championship they not goodenough, division 1 next season at this rate, should had steve bruce when we sacked mick think it would been different now, as any decent manager wouldn't keep these donkeys

27 Jan 2013 09:54:11
Get Nigel atkins in.

Who is Nigel Atkins? {Ed011's Note - You now he meant Adkins what's the point of correcting him like this??

...because its embarrassing and confusing when people can't get names correct - helps to make it look like you know what you're talking about!

27 Jan 2013 09:42:51
deanos has been brought to wolves just to do what morgan wants.any top manager would want to do things his own way but deano will do as he is told.we will cut costs and aim to make as much as possible for morgans own gain and deano will be rewarded for this.as long as we keep paying morgan will be happy.

27 Jan 2013 08:40:32
Trouble with this team is they are past it when we won this league they were 4/5 years younger hungry nobody's Henry Stoke reserves foley Edwards Luton Blake Plymouth ward Irish Sunday league and so on now there all millionaires with nothing to prove or fight for they are all made they need shipping out get hungry players again they have played there part for us so thanks but bye it's not the manager

Danny

You have seen the type of football he's trying to get them to play...he's a joke as are the majority of the team

27 Jan 2013 08:39:24
Just reading that Warnock is off to WHFC on a free. Any one else getting a bit frustrated with the lack of transfer activity ? Who would buy our under achieving overpriced players ? now way is Stearman worth 1.8 million pounds . I just hope MM raids Wolves for his favourites so we can get in players who TRY. Rant over.

Gibo.

27 Jan 2013 08:18:11
Zubar was mint yesterday.

Not a big Zubar fan but thought he was man of the match yesterday.

Zubar has never been used to his full potential. I still think he'd be better allowed further forward and run at the opposition. Great player, sadly unliked by the masses.

Ian C

What I want to know is why has he NEVER been tried at centre back ??

After all that's his natural position untill he came to the circus here.

27 Jan 2013 07:36:18
deano said on wolvesnow, sportsmole he's looking forward to the next 4 days, he's going to spend we shall see, we need at least 5/6 quality players /jasonwolvesforlife

Needs to get rid as well before they poison the new guys .

27 Jan 2013 06:35:07
Time to get rid Saunders.

letting these players know we would get rid if we could was a bad move on deanos part what effort would you put in for your gaffer if you believed the same the truth is they won't move they're too well off they'll see deano off first that's why there's no fight no passion deanos on a hiding too nothing people have urged him to play the kids and rebuild in an ideal world that would be great but we all know it wouldn't work.

Any news on transfers? Come on deano you have seen and you know what we need time to stop assessing the team and make some changes before its too late

Saunders has got to go, he's just not good enough, I hope those that bitched about SS are realising it is down to a handful of players who are so deep rooted in the club, they are running it by default. that's down to mccarthy, getting too chummy with them. remember his ever present favourites, they are the ones at the centre of all the problems, Solbakken saw this and he was lining up replacements, he wasn't bothered about engaging with them on a friendly basis as he was bringing about changes to better the club long term, and the players saw this and didn't like it, they saw they had no future here with a coach who expected them to at a minimum, be able to hold the ball up and pass more than 10 yards to a team mate.

So now we end up back at square one with another manager who likes a laugh and a joke with the "boys", and apparently Henry is all for it, as are several others, nasty Solbakken wouldn't throw an arm around them and tell them everything was ok, he expected them to man up and grow some balls...so Morgan, do the sensible thing, sack Saunders, he will take us down, take a shot at Adkins, and pay a few contracts up and get the problems cut out of the club once and for all...MFA

I agree 100% with your comments

The only one disagreeing to the above post is k.henry cus he is a mug

How the hell can it be down to McCarthy getting to chummy with the players? I despair of this constant reference to MM, he's been gone a year for God's sake.

Whatever he did or how he chose to motivate works, for him. Anyone since could simply have changed this or dropped under performing players. They have chosen not to, stop harking on about the past and admit that we lost the best manager we had.

If the current manager can't get results, how the hell can it be a managers fault that left a year ago?

Only at Wolves would folks still be barking on about this, just remember where we were when he was sacked, not in the relegation places in the Premier League.

Ian, Mick used to tell them that it was alright when they were useless. Solbakken simply told them that they needed to man up. They're happy now because they've got a new mate.

listening to deanos after match interview

says loads of positives from todays game we were on top for 44 mins in the first half and 34 mins in the secound half?

was he watching the same game?!!

says he was gutted about ward just before game?!
what happend to big chnaged etc squad rotation if we lost

same team over and over no good
im glad pezsko played over foley in rm peszko was best player by far with zubar and floey hasn't got a clue how to defend or play rm!

deano do something quick and seriously I don't want to watch hoof foootball no one does kids football is hoof footaball not a champiobnship team who have just brought a load of foreign players who are the best players we have. who are used to playing passing percentage football but instead play hooof football and take them out the game !

ridiculous should build them team around sako, o hara, doumbia, pezsko and siggy not pay hoof football and result in them doing nothing and having bad games!

fingers crossed johnsons not out for 3 games didn't play great today bt he's beeen are best defender all year by far

The football yesterday showed the Deano has managed at the lower level - when you play long balls you have to then win the second ball - which we just didn't do I counted once. Worst football I have seen down mlo since MM took over with TC. Wont renew seaon ticket if that s what I have to watch week in and week out - although the way it is going the opposition will play similar in league 1. Fair play to blackpool short linked passing - at least SS tried to play football even if tempo was too slow for championship the core of old MM squad are just simply not good enough and if we can stay up then revamp the majority over the summer

Agree with comment at least stale said the truth and said we were bad championship side, and I can't understand why hammill as not been given chance, last 3 managers now and they still havnt given him a chance as great talent could someone tell me who is picking this team and why he as not been given a chance same saturday had foley at right mid. then due to injury had to go fb. and peszcho who was on the bench to start played and had a very good game with zubar down right surely every fan nows that he should have been there from the kick off because foley is never a right mid. with players we have got and doyle who as lost is way should have been taken off to put him out is misery and put siggy on

weve missed our chance big time by not getting gus poyet morgan should have go and got him, now any of the top 4 prem clubs could have him no bother the best football team we've played this season. and in my opinion when we get relegated morgan will sell the club and then who will buy us?

Hopefully some fans will refund his £10 and then we can start building the club for our benefit.

Hopes makes drastic changes thursday, if not and plays same team or a team to defensive, like team played at sheffield then it will be a long time before I pay to watch them again, because there is no need to be so boring a football team with money we have. wolves f. c. should at least be in play offs with resources we have, no excuses this time morgan/moxey nows the time to pay the fans back for there loyalty we deserve it, don't let this great f. c. go down, spend now before its to late and cut losses on the players we already have because they don't care about our f. c. wolves for life

Morgan right up there with the worst of wolves owners. This guy gets every football decision wrong. Appoint a Manager whose only experience in this Div. is to get a team relegated. Well he is going to make it a double. Well done Morgan & Moxey aka Laurel & Hardy!
