I think we have bought in some good players! However, it will take time to bed them in and sort the wheat from the chaff. We need tried and tested quality. I've mentioned who I think they are. Who disagrees? WZ doing a good job so far as far as I'm concerned. 😀.

I think Zenga us doing a magnificent job. Yes he's brought in a number of players but we must remember that they need to be bedded into the league and system we're trying to play. In the meantime, it has spurred the players from last season who played poorly for us to better themselves in order to stay in the team. We played well today against our bogey team who we've lost to in 7 of the last 8 times too. We hit the woodwork and their goalkeeper made a world class save. Let's not write the season off just yet. We now have 2 weeks to get the newcomers up to speed and I can't wait so see us rip up this league.

Reality Check: Wolves are no bigger a club than they were one year ago. Transfer spend is mid-table compared to the real contenders for promotion: Newcastle, Aston Villa, Derby - plus better quality teams: Brighton, Norwich. Will be lucky to avoid a third tier relegation fight.

Unlucky not to take a point today but same old story in the 1st half, we were shocking. When are in desperate need of a centre half to partner Batth and another forward to support JDB. Saville is definitely not good enough IMO just labours around pitch and was rightly subbed. Still a long way to go and we will only improve so still full of hope that we can have a good season.

Sorry but need 2 centre half's Batth at fault for goal neither won a header in first half both far to slow in possession put us under pressure. Encouraged by new signings Costa tex and prince made a difference need to get them fit to start.

Doesn't seem to matter who we buy or loan none of them seem to play so we are using last years under achievers, was only a matter of time before the first defeat.
Time to get players in that will make a difference as I don't see any of this seasons aquisitions making a jot of difference, and before I get shot down by people referring to Costa's performance Tuesday night just remember they were the worst performing team in the football league and should have posed no threat whatsoever.

Disappointing we didn't get a result today. We need to start the game as we do the second half. A clever and strong midfielder- Will Hughes - Derby, Chris Martin and a target man Jordan Rhodes, it's worth spending the money now if we could get them! Then we have a good chance of going up. Go and get them! Next season they will all cost more than now. J*DI please. That sorts it. Ince would be a nice bonus.

Ok Walter you have had a good enough look at the class of 2015. This is the team who could only play one half and I anticipate changes after the international break. Put Doherty back to right back and let's have a look at the lad from Man U. He should be ready to play if some of the others are not.
I would have gone big money for Nakhi Wells, he ran our defence ragged today. Mick wanted him years ago but the skinflints wouldn't pay up.
Don't think anybody will walk the league this year so every point and grinding out results will be needed.

At the minute it is a game of patience for Zenga he needs to get all players fit and work out in training the best formation with the players he now has. This does take time so he is falling back on the players that know each other . for now

Paul Tamworth I wouldn't want any of those players the other clubs are signing. We are being shrewd and not splashing loads of cash on plsyers because the fans want names. With a new regime, head of football, head coach and 9 new plsyers it will take this season to even start the revolution!
Be patient as it could take 2 more transfer windows for us to be strong enough to stay in the prem when we get there.
Lay the foundations first, but give the boys already here the chance to stake a claim. Those who respond are the ones we really want to keep - Doherty, Coady, Mason so far.
No good us suggesting names from the championship as the scouting network is looking through the suggestions of Zenga, Butti and Mendez from there work in Europe.

Guys, I only get disappointed if we (Wolves-officially) state an intention to pursue or buy a particular player, and then for some reason it doesn't translate to an acquisition
So far the club have been under the radar with players brought in or closed deals which have been in the public arena
We can't criticise the club if the player was a rumour in the press or if the club had a price they were prepared to pay and couldn't bring the player in for that money
We also cannot be disappointed if a player chooses not to join Wolves
The club appears to have bought wisely and delivered on what they have intended to do in terms of number of players, position of players, which is great
We still need to be patient, I am sure the gaps are clearly identified and in addition the new owners are getting more out of the existing stock
Isn't this all just great whoever we get or miss out on now?

Wiz has already commented on the Saiss deal on Newsnow. He said that would be completed early next week. Just need to sign Chris Martin, Hughes, and Rhodes to complete our transfers and PL here we come.

Listen via sigma 107 over the internet live - works abroad cus iv had it on in tenerife (just google sigma 107 wolverhampton) On kodi or smpc you can now get a wolves repo with wolves player built in, iv bin usin the last couple of days. Google wookiesmpc and install the smpc version, follow instructions, layout is exactly same as kodi but is a lot better, works on android.

He's agreed terms and passed a medical so I guess it's just about agreeing a fee for him.
There's nothing mentioned in l'equipe about him waiting for other offers or anything else about him.

{Ed001's Note - no idea, last I heard it was all agreed, so he must have had another offer or there were issues found with his medical. Neither means it definitely won't happen, just means it takes a bit more time. I would expect he has another offer, so he has to think over which he wants to take.}
