Heard alladyce is being interviewed but doesn't want until end of season, any truth in this? First heard from agent Dave (I know)

27 Oct 2016 09:11:24
He's in Thailand on holiday.

If Dougie loser Freedman who slags of Wolves gets this job
you might as well lock the doors to Molinuex.

27 Oct 2016 10:03:40
Wolf if Dougie Freedman gets the job after what he said about club, then there is definitely no hope for us and the crowds will drop in there thousands.
Need championship experienced manager who as been there seen it done it and at the moment it only leaves big Sam and I dought he will come if he doesn't have complete control over which players come in, because if Zenga was not responsible for players coming in then those who was responsible need sacking for not sighning strikers and centre backs after 13 players coming in.
We are left with no strikers and a defence that keeps giving silly goals away, which is a recipe for disaster.

26 Oct 2016 20:13:50
It's not a Mendes client, he would've been appointed by now.

26 Oct 2016 19:44:42
Despite him being favourite I just can't see it being Freedman, he doesn't fit into Fosun's type of manager. Ince would be an absolute car crash, you can't base the case on that he used to play for us meaning he would be a good manager. he would be stupid to go for the job as he is 99% going to fall because of he would never achieve the same success and popularity as he did as a player. Just look at Stuart Pearce and Forest. I still think that we will go foreign and possibly Portuguese or even Spanish due to to the original plan before Zenga came out of left field and the links to benfica and Portugal ( As long as it isn't Souness) .

26 Oct 2016 17:20:52
Most of the bookies have Dougie freeman as odds on favorite, fans must show their feelings to avoid this, I know in hindsight the last time fans got their way it stopped the appointment of Steve Bruce which was probably the wrong call, but no way should this man be given the wolves job when there are so many better candidates, if wolves can ignore the negative publicity they should crawl over broken glass to get big Sam, then when we are in the Prem if he doesn't suit then go get a foreign flair manager then.!

26 Oct 2016 19:37:13
Allardyce all the way for me.

26 Oct 2016 17:20:33
Goodbye Mr Chip (Andreas) Butti: you were useful - like mammaries on a nun.

26 Oct 2016 15:26:59
We need a Director of football to oversee everything who works with the Manager and allow the manager to coach and manage. Damien Comolli and Ian Ayre are available and have the experience from their time at Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs. They do not interfere with the managers role but assist him by looking after all other matters. The new manager must be allowed to bring in the players of his own choosing.

{Ed001's Note - trust me, you do not want either of those two near your club!}

26 Oct 2016 17:10:24
Ed. I thought Ayre was highly thought of at Liverpool.

{Ed001's Note - not by the fans. He was very good at getting sponsorship deals but utterly appallingly bad at anything football related. I am trying to be nice about him, because he is a nice guy who genuinely tried his best for the club he supports, but he was just out of his depth as a CEO. It was not his fault.}

26 Oct 2016 18:16:03
The chief executive from Hull City will start in January 17.

26 Oct 2016 15:01:13
Has to be Sherwood or Holloway for me preferably the latter!

27 Oct 2016 10:54:45
Chicken Man? Oh brother! He's only bothered with a sky mic now. Easy money.

26 Oct 2016 13:57:06
Only one choice for me - AVB! Managed in England, superb tactician and experience of managing star players. Not sure he'd want to drop down into the championship though.

26 Oct 2016 17:14:23
Got sacked from both jobs? Ian Holloway better choice.

26 Oct 2016 17:28:22
Agreed.

26 Oct 2016 21:07:51
Karl Robinson young hungry manager like a howe and would have money to spend and let's be honest didn't do to bad at dons with not a lot and keep him in the job cause I no he could do great for us 4get freedman not proven and same with silva.

26 Oct 2016 21:33:20
MWP avb are u joking mate He's crap at handling players look at wht he did at Chelsea power gone to his head.

26 Oct 2016 13:24:57
Hopefully, its all pointing towards Allardyce now.

Butti gone, one man in control.

26 Oct 2016 13:33:30
So why the short odds on Friedman? Has anyone claimed spotting him at Compton or The Mount yet?

26 Oct 2016 12:51:45
Chris Hughton from Brighton is the man who I would be going for. He is head and shoulders above all the other names mentioned.

26 Oct 2016 13:41:53
Of all the managers currently in the championship I agree that Hughton would be the best choice.
Allardyce is not worthy of consideration he simply cannot be trusted and comes with an army of assistants who basically do his job for him.
My choice would be Mark Warburton at Rangers he did a brilliant job at Brentford and is a tough and highly principled man who stands no nonsense.
Others maybe Klinsman, Hoddle, or O'Neil and Keane.

26 Oct 2016 14:10:29
Good comment bigcheese68 Houghton good choice, knows is stuff. but cannot see him leaving Brighton but you never know, don't want Freedman after what he said about is time at Wolves.

26 Oct 2016 16:54:28
Quality is Eddie Howe. The best of all the British managers! 😉.

26 Oct 2016 12:21:00
Bhutti gone at least that's one sensible thing but please take your time over the manager. We need to know you can pick a quality manager and not do a knee jerk reaction. You can't get 1st rate success with a 2nd rate manager. Freedman! you're having a laugh.

26 Oct 2016 12:05:51
Paul Ince could do a good job for us as long as he keeps Edwards as assistant and is left to mould the team how he wants. He would certainly bring discipline to the team.

26 Oct 2016 11:20:52
D freeman might as well put Barry fry in charge.

26 Oct 2016 14:23:04
freedman would be a disaster as had no problem in the past slagging the club the fans and the city off he has made it clear he doesn't like wolverhampton why even consider him for the job?

26 Oct 2016 10:48:34
How about Hodgson, his name hasn't been thrown in the ring?

26 Oct 2016 14:12:29
Say one thing Hodgson would not be my choice, but he would sort our Defence out.

26 Oct 2016 10:43:25
If Freedman does get the job, he needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat immediately as most fans don't think he has the right credentials for the job. Fosun surely won't take this risk as the fans will soon turn on them too.

26 Oct 2016 11:08:08
SAMs an old greedy. Given we won't get Eddie Howe, the next best CV by a mile is Marco Silva for results at all levels. Apparently, he is very sought after in Europe as well. That's why we won't get him. He clearly has something about him though and he's not an old greedy bar steward like you know who. Got to be MS for me. JFDI. 😉.

26 Oct 2016 11:10:36
I'd rather put a cat in charge of a mouse than give Freedman the job. Got to be M Silva.

26 Oct 2016 11:23:59
Just looked at the betting sites and most of the names are pathetic. Marian Pahars anyone. Of those on the list, only Silva, AVB, Big Sam and Marc Wilmots stand out. As usual Alan Curbishley is on the list at 33/ 1.

26 Oct 2016 09:19:13
We seem to be between a rock and a hard place between another unknown foreign manager and a bent local geezer who disgraced himself when given the highest job in the game. We all moaned when the Money Shop took over our sponsorship as letting down the character of the club and how will Fosun view Sam's misconduct. We will see.
For me Bhutti has got to go as well no manager worth his salt wants him in the dugout with him .
For me in the long term I would pay anything to get Gary Rowett in but that won't happen now.

26 Oct 2016 06:57:22
I am a first time poster and felt motivated to post after hearing that Dougie Freeman is the favourite to be the new manager. He was an average player and his record shows he is a below average manager. We now need someone with a successful record in this division, if the board doesn't go for Sam Allardyce then they should consider forking out for Chris Hughton. He has done a great job at Brighton and his previous managerial record is also good. Another option is Gary Rowett who has also done fantastically well at the Blues. These are two managers who are showing how to do it in the Championship, we can not afford to gamble on another foreign manager unless Benitez fancies a change of scenery! Go for Freeman and I fear another stint in League 1.

26 Oct 2016 00:37:20
Would like big Sam. Would be big wage packet though, if not I would like to see what giggs could do until the end of this season at least . he would have backing of Sir Alex too.

26 Oct 2016 07:53:54
Big Sam? It should be Big Fat Sam!
