dont wanna bring the mick out thing up again but i think AVB could be sacked by the end of the season or by next jan how about waiting for him? wages might be a problem but worth a gamble

TLG

..........Dreamer,no manager of any repute would touch us with a barge pole,we can't compete anymore,small fish in a very big bowl,thanks to the 3 M's,top draw,well done. {Ed001's Note - Wolves were a small fish a very long time ago, thanks to mismanagement over a long period of years. The 3Ms have got you back in the big bowl!}

That is bang on ed go back to my previous points too many dreamers thinking were gonna be in the top half established prem club over night were spending money we can afford by running a football club right how can we compete with even qpr when they are folking out 85k a week on average player onouha its frustrating but I'm sure Morgan will get us there he's not worth 500 mil for wasting money still believe we have better squad than about 5/6 sides

Thanks only to mr Hayward who stuffed his own cash into the club to save it from the depths of hell, hes the only person who i thank for anything, and he did it for the love of the club! this scouse bloke has jumped in at the perfect time for a good business venture nothing more.
always respect you views Ed but these people are not to thank at all and when hes done with taking as much money out of the place im sure he will move on to other things.
Jack Haywards barmy army !!!!!!!
4d. {Ed001's Note - how can you say that? Hayward refused to invest at the critical juncture, when Wolves made it into the Prem under Jones, even though the best player, Lescott, went out injured. That set the club back 10 years, at least.}

Ed sorry but two of the 3 ms are not premiership quality micks record speaks for itself and moxey is only interested in making money as he has a profit related bonus thats why we dont spend big {Ed001's Note - maybe so, but it is better that Moxey has the club making money than you end up like Leeds or Pompey or Oxford. All chased the dream of players on more than they could afford and all ended up in trouble.}

Yes hayward supports the club but how many times was he actually at molinuex. not as often as morgan as he spent his time in the Bahamas. hayward didnt save us from the depths of hell, the council did with a few others such as jack harris. dont you ever wonder why hayward didnt come in sooner

Dont think it was because he didnt want to, he just didnt have the cash to do so hence selling it to the calm down crew, the building work is already making money off the building work, hence the reason its being built before we had a decent side, i do agree they balance the books well but as in football you need to take some calculated risks regarding transfers, and for christ sake get a manager in who A, can attract a player and B, think of a decent plan a never mind plan b.
(to the poster above would you come back to wolverhampton if you lived in paradise lol!!!)
4d

I might be a dreamer but atleast im more optimistyic than morgan lol

TLg

The problem is Moxey and Morgan see Wolves as a Championship club over achieving. The fans see Wolves as a Premier League club under achieving.

It's ok being a optimist but u need to be a realist

Let's not end up like a Portsmouth. Big players big wages big ambitious and championship football. We have financial stability, let's get behind our team and cheer on the wolves on Tuesday and we will drag our team from our position. I don't care if it's a 89 minute goal at Wigan in may that keeps us up but our team can only do it with us behind them each week.
Ute

United we stand divided we fall

Regardless of what Morgan is or is not planning and whether Mick is doing his best or letting us down, we will be supporting Wolves long after they have gone. It will always be our Club so let's support the team through thick and thin. Nothing we say will change anything but our support might!

Im afraid its time to stand up and be counted ,this cannot go on. it's no good burying your head and hope it goes away, we all care about our club and i for one dont want to be standing with 4 or 5000 fans back in lower divs again, Morgan must realise we aint going to stand for this S**T

What ever happens we cannot act like the Blackburn supporters because that will not help the team or club fullstop. We've got a better team than last season and the season before, we've only added new players not lost anyone and we need to make the Molineux a fortress whatever the situation before and after the 90 minutes. We can't promote anti-manager/ anti-owner chants during the game because we'll be asking the opposition to thrash a demoralised team.
DB

I think blackburn are improving cos of them lettin there owners know what they feel, do you think wolves could beat man utd at this moment ,i think not ...

the man is right ,you bury your head and we go down ,the proof will be at the end of the season if blackburn stay up.

HTY

Must be some baggies on here tonite! i always remember what MM said when he first came "its not my club its not the players club its not the boards club its the fans club for they will be here long afteer we have gone" (or something along those lines

How is that a baggies fan ,,its the bloody truth

When did negativity ever breed a positive reaction? Blackburn have pulled it round through their own hard work and attitude not because a few numpties shouted 'Kean out' week after week. We are supporters - so get supporting!

26 Jan 2012 21:11:21
People are saying whats hammill done, why's he not playing ,,,,its the same as dave jones and mckindoe ,,they were playing ok for wolves and then dumped and treated like s**t by MM ,makes you think how many decent players MM as ruined.

You might as well close the youth academy cos MM dont know how to bring them though ,too many of our promising kids have fell by the side of road cos of thick mick and connor.

I suggest if we lose to liverpool it's time to really put pressure on dopey morgan to act now.

Henry gets sent off and costs us points AGAIN and fans clap him off him the pitch ,,are they stupid or something ...henry was at fault for villa's 2nd goal ,he let the ball bounce in front of him and lost it and result was a goal for keane

Only blessing is that when henry doesnt play we seem to pick up points and then thick mick puts him back in and we are in the s**t again.

It me or am i going mad

Walsall Wolf

Totally agree Mad mick ruins players look at poor Doyle been made top work like a carthorse for the last three seasons. I bet he cant remeber the last time he had the ball played through on the ground for him to run on to.

Instead the general rule of thumb for our game play is

1. kick off straight back to Hennesy. Who the hoofs it upfield where the forwards if they are lucky might just get a touch BUT their backs will be aginst goal.
2. if we are luck we retain possesion and it gets passed back to our midfield.
3. They panic cos at this point everyone of our team stops moving therefore making no space or even making themselves available
4. Hence it then gets passed back to the back four who either.
a. panic and hoof it up in the air up to the front two again.
or
b. pass it back to Henessy who then Hoofs it back up again.

I tell you what Mick Yorkshire born Yorshire bread thick in the arm thick in the head!! tacticle genius - your not!

Mick plays his favs and guess what the other managers have worked his totally limited tactics out.

The reason why other managers do well is that they have the balls to play the youngsters. After all if you have the talent whats there to stop you. It makes you unpredictable to play against. Plus they tend to ensure that they sign a playmaker in the middle of the park oh and ensure that their team do the fundamentals right i.e move into space!!!! It aint rocket science

If Mick had a brain hed be dangerous.

everyone moans about wolves not paying massive wages say we did sign jones or davies they might want 50 grand a week n then fletch says im scoring goals i want 50 grand n henno says im putting in class performances i want 50 grand ect ect n then by the end of it we end up like pompey or southend in administraion n struggling to find a buyer just because fans wanted us to splash the cash i dont no who id support if we went out of buissiness no one probz

yes we need to buy players but we need to do it the right way i mean yes micks a person but how do you no he's not trying to get people in

I don't think they would complain about getting more wages because when we get relegated at the end of the season they will be going to better teams that pay those wages anyway. I don't think a handful of players on 50 grand a week would put the club into administration, when you consider how much revenue that the team makes by being in the premier league.

Guys, as frustrating as it is we should all get behind the team! lets put it this way i used to take my eldest lad now 21 and the atmosphere at games was fantastic, I started taking my youngest lad (9yrs old) but because of all the abuse that is generated i have taken him away from it,he doesnt need to hear some of the stuff that is spat out! football has highs and lows and supporting Wolves is certainly a roller coaster, but the abuse does not help. Players do talk to each other and i bet your bottom dollar that a few good players have been put off joining us because of the negativity around the place. Dont get me wrong im frustrated with it all and would have loved to see some new faces at the club, even perhaps a new manager, but lets try to get behing the lads that are pulling on the shirt and try to get them to enjoy it too, maybe then other players would see its a good club to come to!

Im behind the team just not mick

To the poster about saying the team will all want paying decent wages, look all footballers are on stupid amounts of money but thats the way it is, were paying premiership ticket prices so wouldnt it be nice to see premiership players!(not happy with the management or board but still love the club)

Alexander Hleb COULD join Wolves on loan until the end of the season. The Barcelona man has fallen out-of-favour and has been told his contract will be terminated at the end of the season and Jez Moxey has been in touch with the spanish club over the brief move after a meeting took place today over potential late moves in this transfer window and his name has been highlighted as a top priority I have heard.

Although Hleb is currently on wages of £80,000 a week, he has said that he is prepared to make a cut to get his career back on track and Wolves have stated they are prepared to offer him a two year deal with wages of £40,000 a week set to act as the transfer fee which would eventually accumulate to a total of just over £4m in wages but McCarthy knows what Hleb is capable of and is prepared to take the risk to accommodate him into his preferred formation of 4-5-1 which would see a more attacking style of play being the approach as Wolves look to battle out of the relegation zone.

Don't criticise this rumour, it is what I have genuinely heard. Whether it happens or not, will of course depend on whether other clubs are after him and whether he want's to join Wolves which is yet to be known. All I know, is that Wolves and in particular Jez Moxey, has been discussing the move with Barcelona who have stated they would be happy to let the player leave as it would decrease their wage bill. Nothing is certain on this, I'm not saying it's 100%.

'FWF'.

Fwf or more like wolvesinsider in disguise lots of better teams will pay him his 80oddk and pay a transfer fee so it ball s**t mate

Well loan would be abit hard when he's a free agent

Once the loan is completed, his contract will have ran out. Then, you pay the contract on top after the loan finishes when he becomes a free agent.

having seen the lack of activity from Wolves compared to the other clubs near the bottom of the league it does make you wonder if the money is really there? Surely MM would love to bring in some fresh faces to help him keep the club up and ultimately keep his job. If Onuha was only £2.5m for example why did we not go after him? I am starting to think all is not well behind the scenes at Molineux, when a club finds itself inour situation you would expect us to take a risk or two in pursuit of retaining our PL status.
Suspicious and very worried

Our players are generally good enough to beat the drop its just they are not set up properly and they need to be trained to pass better and get into triangles like swansea do

TLG

If we try to put our current squad into tringles mick will be looking to make a break with a cue ball!!! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
4d

I means passing triangles of three btw but still lol

TLG

I knew what you meant TLG, couldnt see us putting 3 passes together with the way were playing at the min, but fair play for the banter its what this place is for.

Rumours report that Hammill may go to either Wigan or Blackburn, can anyone give me a rational explanation why he has never featured for Wolves.
If he goes to either of the above I can see him doing untold damage to our chances of staying up.
Am I correct in saying he's only had one 90 min of Premier football this season.
To me he always looks dangerous and will be a great player for some team, someday!
Does anyone know what the problem is!!

Doom and gloom
Am i a one off ,,,, i go to ww to watch a team i supported for many yrs (50)lol, i want to be entertained so sat the game v villa, poor start, brill 30 mins, rubbish 2nd half overall yes disappointed but looking ok,,as i got home my wife shouted more doom and gloom " your as bad as that MM you go to the game all happy then come home all grumpy,, why bother go some where else for go sake" ,so then it was round to my mates as to tell him about game as he refuses to go to WW, let me explain

my best friend was a wolves employee for 25 years and has some terrific football stories and worked under ,BM.BL,GT, he has a great friendship still to day with mr Turner, alas Turner ended up the same as MM being too friendly with squad,
SB is a legend and i would love a guy like that now ,but turner was too close to many of hie boys ,and a few times SB went home on a night with a new club to join, yes shock horror they were not rummer. he was due to go a few times but Turner phoned SB talked him round and gave him a better contract AND a signing on fee!! every time.
now when Taylor came he offered SB a new deal but no signing on fee, that's when SB wanted to go to our rivals villa, for what,,,,,, yes the dosh alas he didn't go, but to be honest he was at twilight years ,so moving then was a risk cos by then he was only 50% fit. now us lowly fans never get to here stories like that and we here talk SB ONE CLUB ,RESPECT ! well yes i do respect him as a player but he was no fool and he did get rewarded very very well
that's past but its so easy when players are maturing around you to not see the stand out things what we see match after match; now SB did not get Turner the sack as SB ALWAYS GAVE 110% but other turner lads did't

But why the loyalty the players only play for one reason ,,, Money---MM will loose Wanye and fletcher soon as they have talent and people will want them

Jarvo (mm babe) has pace, yes 1 or 2 crosses a game are good, does he track back ,tackle, have any vision NO ,does he give ball away yes, vision no
Henry(mm babe) well,,,,, in my eyes is at best a centre half as hes never a CM
George, how many games has MM put him up against a quick RB and winger, the guy just cant turn and go ,it don take a tony daley to work that out
hammill, pace yes, vision yes, ball skills bags of it,crosses yes, tracks back yes..
now a couple of weeks ago i slated MM of for not giving AH a game , he did v chelsea and was MOM,now the same week kites(mm babe) came back and he was straight in team , brill great kites performance was the beat 1st half i have seen at ww for many yrs, but hammill should have got nod ova jarvo but jarvo a( mm babe)
.
but its hammill who is going .well i guess that's easy for MM BLESS

MM says the lads give 100% but if you've got a jack russell dog even if it gives you 110% it ain't gonna catch a greyhound and it will prop be more loyal and great with the kids but ain't gonna do any good at monmore

AH will go as i believe he has alot to offer ,not like george, henry, even jarvo who are at ,,, best average, jarvo should have gone long ago , as now i think most managers got him wieghed up ,
SM is very good at running at tight ship ,respect to him as we never get to here the full stories
MM SOME OF THESE MM BABES are not good enough and no body else in the prem wants em,you cant afford anybody with prem experience (thats not crocked or 34 winkwink) and anybod who is on the fringe dont wanna come cos we poor

Will we sign anybody,,, well no not the type of players we would like but most of these guys and agents are far too greedy,,,,
as i said above my friend worked for 25 with wolves and says in the old days the lads would buy you a pint after game
today if you dropped a pound in changing room 4 of em would clash heads
MM is far too loyal ,,,,,,,as is SM
do we give ww our hard earned cash,yes--------- do players give us pound of flesh ,,,well no-------do they live in real world not a chance----- lets be honest all footballers are overpaid, the tackle looks like being banned ------ why------cos they don't wont any knocks cos they wanna carry on picking the big bucks up
so more doom and gloom----- no new players just Micks men and then----- alas mick the sack ,wayne, fletch gone to better clubs, jamie, doyla, yogi, johno, wardy go same sort of club near bottom of prem
george--- on door as doorman,milo--as mr whippy man inicecream van, clip board -- sitting in car counting cars go by for vosa-- moxo well that type always come up smelling of roses

Erm turner signed bull n taylor tried to sell bull to coventry villa was never mentioned so i think you should get your facts right before posting

Villa was an option but never came to head, really nice read to be fair to ya at least u go watch this dross week in week out lol, look its football and at least while watchin this current load of shi33le, we retain our humour, i also mostly agree on the player verdicts, thanks.
4d

For a manager to neglect a talent like hammill it must be personal, for a manager to let personal issues cloud is judgment it is crimminal.this is unfortunately this what we have to put up with at our club mick runs the place like a schoolyard bully his way or the highway.bill mcgarry was a strict manager but allways picked is best players and got great results alas mick is not fit to walk in the same shoes as mcgarry.

26 Jan 2012 12:51:11
ffs onuoha gone to qpr for 2.5 mil why the f*** didnt we sign him, if we had him and jones/pavlyuchenko we would be safe easily please can we buy a decent player

I watched a documentary on football with alan sugar and he was talking to the owner of wigan and the owner of wigan told him that there is and agreement between wolves blackburn and a few others not to give anymore than two players more than 40k a week so there is your answer onuoha is on a reported 85k and ill bet that we already have two players paid over 40k

TLG

Onuoha gone to QPR to link up again with old manager Mark Hughes. Also his wage demands were too high!

Everyone moans that wolves dont pay 85k a week rather see us go under than be around for many more years to come

26 Jan 2012 11:39:22
Just seen Mccarthy fishing in Tettenhall pool can somebody go down there and tell him there are no fish there.

Can someone go push him in !!

O grow up

26 Jan 2012 11:08:52
Come February MM will be telling the fans that having Foley and Kightly back and O'Hara and Zubar on the comeback trail is like four new signings.

It's also more than likely that they will spin the situation to how well the club have done to hang onto their main players during January.

I cannot see anyone coming in over the next few days. Would anyone really want to sign for Wolves in our current position?

Don't bother staying up until midnight on the 31st watching the countdown to transfer deadline on Sky because Molineux will be closed, just like 31st August.

They aint shut though when it comes to season ticket sales though am they!! one word......................GREED!!

26 Jan 2012 10:35:39
Wolves current best 11

Hennesey

Zubar
Berra
Johnson
Ward

Jarvis
O'Hara
Frimpong
Henry
Hammill

Fletcher

Bit of a problem there is three wingers in that set up

Foley is our best right back by far. Plus we are better 442 I'd have o'hara and frimpong in centre mid with Doyle and fletch up front. Hope o'hara is fit again before henrys' suspension finishes would love him and frimy in the middle.

If that's the best 11 then that's why wolves are in the relegation zone. We need another striker up front with fletch that actually scores

We play a 442 then play Edwards up front with fletcher, i have just stopped giving a s**t what this bloke plays, it is a nightmare on elm street job! truth is we have played 451 352 352 etc etc, has Mick ever realised that he should buy better players to fit a formation rather than trying to create a formation for average players to pick up results in the premiership!!
