any one think a cheeky bid for grant holt would b worth a punt he's not played much football at all this season and a proven goal scorer at championship level the speed of dicko and strength of holt would work well

No, we don't play with 2 strikers. And 4-2-3-1 works well, no need to change.

We're to vulnerable playing 4-4-2

4-4-2 isn't the done thing any more. Maybe if MM was still manager, but KJ is much too smart to go for the put a shift in 4-4-2 formation of days gone.

Agree with 4th poster. 442 is for the dinosaurs.

442 with dinosaurs is a game I'd pay good money to see lol

1 up top works in league but will it work in championship I beg to differ think holt could b a good move

We know Kenny has a few formations worked out including 442 and its variations like 4411. We will see what he uses against different teams.

Would love us to sign Stevie May from St. Johnstone, he's having a quality season there, scored 27 goals this season. Unfortunately, being a young, scottish striker, he will probably be compared to Leigh Griffifths but, by the sounds of it he has the talent without the attitude. Would defo be a good back up striker to Dicko, who could improve a lot in the future

Griffiths wasn't exactly prolific if he was amazing he'd be scoring more in league 1 than 13 goals he's nothing more than a Scottish league player and so is stevie may not a championship player

Bit harsh. Kenny Miller and Steven Fletcher were Scottish League players till they moved south. So were Cameron and Rae. Sometimes the move works sometimes it doesn't, depending on the player's temperament (Griffiths a case in point, maybe Goodwillie too). Same whenever a top player moves here from a different country as we see at top levelwith Ozil and Arsevin who couldn't recapture their form from elsewhere.

So Griffifths scoring 13 goals in 20 pr so games isn't prolific? He's scored a fair few for Celtic as well, don't have a clue what you're on about mate. Success in different leagues is all about having the confidence and the attitude, unfortunately Griffifths only had one as did goodwillie like Euroman said, who knows what stevie May would be like in the championship, at least give him a chance before you say he's not good enough, everyone starts off somewhere
