Ian Holloway or Tim Sherwood. They both know the English system the fans and Holloway has had previous success. Also both got great characters and say it how it is. Always liked listening to their interviews. for me it has to be one of them. But my gut says foreign guy with links to mendez.

Bookies say Dougie Freedman: owners are cheap and nasty. A chance to rebuild in League One again. Another bomb squad to get rid off . Dadi, and a bunch of Portuguese no-hopers. League One is Wolves level now, like Sheffield United.

dowie?

25 Oct 2016 20:32:30
They will never go with Alladyce. They are trying get to build a reputation over in their Homeland. Alladyce would tarnish their reputation with what's gone on with England job. plus he plays boring long ball football. Ide like an English man. Ian Holloway would be a safe bet. knows the league and has got teams promoted from it. Plus he's a good character.

25 Oct 2016 21:42:44
Totally agree.

25 Oct 2016 20:31:53
Dont think Fosun will like Big Sam's baggage so someone like Marco Silva or Willy Sagnol will be more acceptable.

25 Oct 2016 20:43:47
Please Bebbsta don't talk about Big Sam's 'baggage'!
But by all means we need Big Sam.

25 Oct 2016 20:06:05
Fosun want to be serious contenders in Prem, so it's a no brainer. Big Sam all the way, he will pull the crowds, and more importantly we will definately make play offs this season. He will be the fans favourite to be leader of the Wolf Pack.

25 Oct 2016 20:42:10
We don't need a big Sam. To old and greedy! We need quality, English young proven at all levels. That's Eddie Howe, we won't go for him but that is who we should try and get. Not past his sell by date and the future! . 😉.

Hi guys, 1st post and felt after reading for some time I should contribute.
Stand to be shot down (not sure present management will go for it) but only logical appointment is Big Sam.
Experienced in Championship and Premier leagues, a Wolves fan, and reasonably successful.
He isn't jut a long ball man though he does like big players. With financial backing could do a good job longterm.
Finally (thank goodness u might say) he was interviewed successfully for the England job.

{Ed003's Note - welcome aboard.}

25 Oct 2016 20:27:30
I don't care who he supports, he's bent and plays boring football, has a huge backroom team and despite being the best paid manager in world football still went after more cash.
No thanks.

25 Oct 2016 20:15:34
He's dodgy, that's all.

25 Oct 2016 19:08:23
All these overseas managers is not what we need at times like this we need a proven championship manger like a big Sam or a Mr warnock what does silva or sagnol know about this league nothing. Same with the players none of them have played in a league like this it is one of the hardest so let's hope they get it right this time but I did like Mr zenga very passionate.

25 Oct 2016 20:28:36
How about temting Harry Redknapp/.

25 Oct 2016 21:13:50
Love Harry class act but bit old for fosun I like Robinson young and for a manager to be at a club for 6 years he's done well on a very small budget.

25 Oct 2016 18:37:54
muscat 25/ 1 .

25 Oct 2016 18:49:42
Zenga is priced at 50/ 1. I wouldn't look past anything longer that 20/ 1.

25 Oct 2016 17:28:05
Fair play Big Jeff, no hangin about if the manager Is failing give him the boot! 👍 Not like the previous owner who kept McCarthy and Jackett way to long! Very pleased with Fosun as failure is not an option! 👍.

25 Oct 2016 18:05:39
Try and get Eddie Howe. He's the future young, bright, intelligent, plays great football. Been there and done it. Shove the rest in the bin. We won't get him but at least try. He will end up at Arsenal!

25 Oct 2016 18:19:05
Eddie Howe doesn't need us. He's doing fine in the Premier and if he thinks he's maxed out at Bournemouth he'll get another Premier job.

Never a good time to let a manager go. Either too soon to be sure or to late to correct the damage. At least we won't fail through sticking with a manager that's not getting the results. Fosun might go for Sam. We like ex-England managers and presumably he's a well known name known in Asia after managing England for five minutes.

25 Oct 2016 16:10:36
Big Sam please.

25 Oct 2016 16:08:57
Big Sam or Ryan Giggs

Big Sam as he has been round the block so many times and the success to back it up

Or

Ryan Giggs . with modern ideas, a gifted player, give him his chance at wolves . let us be the beneficiary of someone destined to do well in management.

25 Oct 2016 16:01:53
Wolves need a wise old head with proven track record at championship and premier league level. No more gambling on foreign coaches please. There's one name and one name only BIG SAM THE BLACK COUNTRY MAN.

25 Oct 2016 17:00:39
It will not be Big Sam. Martin Glenn FA Chief Ex is a season ticket holder.
Dan Ashworth FA lives in Tettenhall.
To close for Sam.

25 Oct 2016 15:25:58
Not a surprise, I think he was a stab in the dark at the time and has really done nothing to change things. This league is about a solid spine. We have been promoted when that was right and we had a goalscorer.

I am not sure we have anyone at the club who can make the right decision to be honest. The loyalty shown so far really doesn't seem to work.

If we have the money that we do then we have to go big, Marco Silva doesn't know the championship and that doesn't seem to work. The man at the Villa was probably the man we wanted.

Big Sam, Nigel Pearson, Harry Rednapp, all have the names.

Ryan Giggs with a good coach by his side?

I think it will be Marco Silva and who knows .

25 Oct 2016 15:18:51
Now let's hope 'Bacon' Butti packs his bags as well. No more cronies of Jorge Mendes; Wolverhampton Wanderers is a club steeped in history and tradition. We're not some oligarchic idiot's toy! Bring in Big Sam and forgive his errors - he's one of our own. Then I believe we'll nab a play-off spot this season at least.

The person who believes Fosun do not consult online comments in relation to Wolves is very cynical. Perhaps the dinosaurs of yesteryear - Bob the Builder and Pie Man - preferred the pigeon. But the hostility on social media - in my opinion at least - was crucial in their thinking. We DON'T want Marco Silva. We DON'T want Willy Sagnol. We DO want and need an English boss who knows the division. So Fosun, PR, if you do happen to be reading this; 1. Sorry to blow your cover! 2. Please give us fans what we need - don't let us dip down to League 1 again.

25 Oct 2016 14:14:35
Looks like that rumour I heard last week about Saturday against Leeds was do or die for Zenga was true, it appears he has been sacked.

25 Oct 2016 15:27:07
I know all the usual names will be banded around, however, since we've missed out on Bruce, the appointment has to be a tried and tested English manager. I know it's slightly controversial but Big Sam has to be top of the list please.

25 Oct 2016 15:40:27
Agree with Big Sam he is Wolves through and through.

25 Oct 2016 08:51:30
We are far enough into the season to judge how Fosun's decisions are panning out. Trying to manage all the foreign and unknown players with a manager with a terrible track record and no experience of the English game was likely to end in tears. The right manager is crucial.
We couldn't score a goal last year for toffee. So we buy 2 £1million forwards one ok and one a dud and think that will get us promoted. We rely on 2 loan players for creativity because our marquee signing can't play. Dear Jeff we the fans have been here with Solbaken and a string of dud managers and it takes ages to sort out these mistakes. Forget about ruling the world, learn quickly and get the basics right.
