I've had a think about this and concluded that it's not a lack of effort from our players it's their just not good enough! The same goes for the manager, Albion and Pullis were mentioned earlier, and he went there and looked at the players and put tactics in place that best suited the squad he's got! Now that's a top manager, I'm afraid we haven't got a manager and coaches at our club capable of doing that. We must survive, relegation isn't an option, so Fosun must either bring in a new manager or get a couple of free agents in or both. Like I said before the mini cup run papered over the cracks but now reality is striking home.

Worth trying Paul, nothing else seams to be working, it seams the only thing left, cannot keep going on like this, and who honestly in there right mind would buy a season ticket to keep losing at home and not be entertained with crap football and a manager who thinks we are great.
Needs to see a quack does Lambert, think he is quacking up.

Pulis now in his third (? ) season at the boggies, and the people have only just started to back him. just. We can't keep changing managers like we do? Only KJ, who did what any manager could do in L1, has served more than six months since MM.

Everyone goes on about the cup run. two matches won, one lost shows how easily pleased and it has papered over cracks. The L1 spine from Ikeme, Batth, Stears, Edwards, Price, and Dicko is the problem. They all have gone backwards over the last 3 seasons.

Based on how the current first 11 are playing, and assuming williamson manages more than one game without getting injured, i'd line up like this from now on:

Keeper: Ruddy/ burgoyne ( lonergan and ikeme are mostly useless at this point)

defence: Iorfa/ doherty hause williamson CBJ

batth is a cart horse, doherty is NOT a left back and is a liability defensively on that side, maybe just a liability altogether.

midfield pair: saiss and price ( would say ronan or oniange if they were available)

wingers: costa and gibbs white for now, cav when fit, wieman is not willing to put a shift in defensively and marshall is just not fit.

no 10: enobakhare

striker: dicko / weiman/ wilson.

{Ed001's Note - I was shocked how bad Batth was last night. I could not see anything about him to suggest he should be playing at Championship level at all. He looked like a semi-pro player and completely out of his depth.}

I don't know what to think of bod, he to me, is just a less skillful sigurdarson, plenty of effort, but can't win any areal duels and lacks the skill siggy had with his feet. For the life of me, I can't understand how we let siggy go on a free, with no complaints, and pay somewhere between 2 and 4 million for a guy who isn't a better option.

We saw what Bod could do at the start of the season what has happened that he hasn't scored for nearly 6 months? It's the way we play and I think we need to rest Edwards and play midfielder who links with strikers better.

Its so annoying when u look at the tables and see how good wba are doing in the league than looking at us in the championship and seeing us in a relegation battle.

I’d love to know why for years every manager we’ve had instructs our team when kicking off to kick it to a fullback, who then launches it into the corner and inevitably gives away possession. How about we try something new and keep the ball. I guess they are playing for territory, but this ain’t rugby.

I can see relegation. The run in is not easy, and I can't see how we will get enough points to stay ahead of Wigan and Blackburn. It is unbelievable we are in this position once more. My worry is that along with Div 1 Fosun will exit, sell Costa, and a couple of others and unload the club to seek an easier way to Premier riches with an alternative club. Wolves then left in the wilderness, a great opportunity lost.

I've lost count of the number of times I've said the whole setup from the top down needs to be addressed and a strategy put in place for the coaches and players that's built around quality. The current system clearly isn't working and hasn't done for since I know not when! PL is a good coach a nice guy, but it's not working is it? We should never be where we are in a million years, but we are! Some serious sections need to be made structurally right from the top down a quick!

A blind man with his white stick would have seen we needed quality up front, in midfield and at the back. The spine of the team needs sorting. Is PL the right person and has he got the right support around him? That's the question. from someone whose very frustrated by the whole situation!

Fosun are learning the hard way I'm afraid. In the meantime, we slide down the greasy ladder! As I said in a previous post, and months ago when they took Zenga on board Hi Ho Silva away. Maybe it's time to stand back and make some serious decisions.

Our players just seem to think they can just turn up. Well they need to wake up. They have to turn up and put a shift in and prove week in week out they are worth a starting birth. Many of them clearly aren't are they? The difference between good and bad is to be good have a regular consistency week in week out to your game. Mr dependable, Mr I'll show you quality, some self esteem and respect for the paying fans. If you want to play crap go and do it elsewhere!

Another ex-wolves player scoring last night. I thought Davis would after so many have this season. The way it’s going I half thought Kuszczak would score. I think the next old player against us is Berra at Ipswich as the Huddersfield game has been postponed. I’m definitely putting a few quid on Berra to score. Van La Parra is guaranteed to score at this rate.
