He's out for a month max. Probably less. I doubt there is any need to panic and anyway, if it gives some of the academy lads a chance to show what they can do, why not let them have a go?

I would like to see a quality forward signed on loan. I agree that SEB is a good replacement for Doyle or Fletcher but quality competition would be a good asset to keep our forwards sharp.
It's a bit different playing up front out of position for Grays when you're there best player to playing up front out of position for Wolves when your a squad player who has not played for almost 18 months.

I'm a little bit worried that the promises made to RJ are going to be broken. He said in E&S that he was expecting at least 1 more signing and this has not happened. I hope the 3 M's are playing a good poker game again and get a class player by deadline day

I think the only promise made to RJ was that our best players would not be sold and that we would be looking to improve each season. Beyond that RJ knows like everyone else that the club will bring in players where the offer improvement in quality without breaching the team ethos or financial breaking the club. RJ would appreciate that after some of the goings on he has suffered at his previous clubs.

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake injury worrying but I dont think it necessitates any major problems on the "striker" front.
If (and we hope it doesn't happen) either Doyle or Fletcher get an injury then we will just revert to the lone striker role (which worked well last season) until either is fit again.
Agree with previous posters on the form of Henry and Berra, Henry was great last week (not so good at Blackburn) and Berra has had two great games (more than he had all last season), the latter must be due to the influence of Roger Johnson who has started with two cracking displays.
So far so good....Ward has done ok. I would still like to see Dann in the Wolves Gold and still believe (given half a chance) Hammill will become a top class player!
I agree that we shouldn't worry too much about getting another striker in. I would also love to see Scott Dann but if I only had one pick it would be to invest in Tom Huddlestone. Either would be great but Huddlestone in our middlefield plqying the holdinbg role with his passing ability would cement a mid-table finish.

Apart from QPR you're probably right. But do we need Barton, Bullard, Gibson? If something does happen it will be at the last minute - kinda hearing the noise but not yet arriving at the waterfall.
Anyway let's keep an eye on Spurs, Blues and City... Boro, it just goes on.
What is it with your obsession with QPR? Barton is a quality player but off and sometime on the field he’s a liability. I’m not sure a big-time-Charlie like Barton would be the best thing for our squad.
As for Gibson I’m sure Man U would rip Villa’s hand off if they bid 3.5m. He s an average player in a good side. No better than Henry, O Hara, Milijas or Edwards.

Obviously a move across the black country means to Walsall as West Brom are brumies so this rumour can't be accurate....really only one team in the black country but a few options in Birmingham

i think wolves should try getting gisbon or jenas, they would be very good in the mid with ohara.
although berra has started the season well i think they should also go for scott dann if the big clubs arent interested.
Wolves already had Darron Gibson on loan in the championship.
