It has been a good few years since I played competitive football, a few less since I've coached. I do however watch a lot of football both live and on television and have to admit I thought the most basic rule was for players, especially midfielders, was pass and move. This basic tenet of coaching has been replaced at Molineux by something I have never seen elsewhere and struggle to comprehend. pass and point. Every time Edwards and Saville touched the ball in midfield they passed it between one and ten yards, stood still and pointed in the vague direction of the opposition. They and others did this throughout the match against Rotherham. What made matters worse was that they did it even when they were putting others under pressure with their pathetic passes, including a young fullback making only his second start. Pathetic and even more pathetic that they are allowed to get away with it by our "head coach".

What you expect with second rate midfield players who cannot take a player on with skill and create something, one of those players you could get away, with but not all the same type of players across the midfield which we seam to play, the team looks so lop sided and players out of position it's unreal the only player who can see a pass is McDonald and he is on bench, and when played is played to deep to realy make an impact because of Jacketts negativity.

lol, excellent, pass and point - maybe the players have learnt it off Kenny, who learnt it off Moxey. I'd bet Moxey is the original master of the Pass (the buck) and Point (at someone else to blame) tactic lol.
