Hey Ed, how about we have an award for poster of the season? {Ed003's Note - let you decide for yourselves Chase.}

I couldn't vote anyone tbh. Not in terms of the best poster who makes though most sense anyway. But if its to do with the most prolific poster. It has to be someone like paultamworth. Even though most of us don't see eye to eye with him.

TDW

It must be Redbird as he is the most cheerful contributor.

Redbird

Lol good old redbird.

TDW

And the nominations for best poster are:
Paul Tamworth
Redbird and
McWolf
You decide lol ;-)

If it's rated as quality rather than quantity, Tamworth shouldn't even be on your shortlist!

Right let's get things strait, Saunders ain't going nowhere, the Steve Bull Stand IS being closed next season and there will be NO money spent on new Players. Deal with it. P. J.

We won't deal with it. We never do anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if we took relegation and did nothing about. We seem to have a minority of fans that will stand up but the rest have lost their fight.

Im surprised that people who said we were wrong to sack mad mick the reason being he was the ideal man after relegation to bring us back up haven't realised deano was on the verge with donny to achieve promotion doesn't the same principle apply if the worst happens

Redrow issued a trading statement to the City today. Sales are "encouraging" with a 14% increase. Don't think Morgan has money worries

No because Wolves are Underpining his other business's. P. J.

Stop being ridiculous!

Ridiculous is it try reading the Financial Press and Company House Records. P. J.

Haha yes of course that's what he is doing. You don't honestly believe that do you?

Wolves current plight isn't down to Morgan not spending, it's the way the money was spent and further still the current team should not be where it is.

If you were paying very good salaries to employees of your company you'd expect a better return.

Yep all if buts and may be, the truth IS he IS taking money out of the Club and we DO underpin his other Companies. P. J.

Many decent players will be out of contract this summer and if wolves manage to stay up, they should be looking to sign free agents, one of them could be carlton cole, today west ham confirmed they won't give him a new contract and he would be a great signing for us. Even though he's 29 he has proved he can score goals in the championship so he would be a great signing.

Morning All. I see everyone is getting very excited about Sako being in the squad for Saturday. I myself, am not! We all know that Sako is by far our best technical player, no doubt. BUT. There is no doubt that defensively he is lacking. And there are going to be times these next to games when we are going to be defending for our lives and our Championship status. Also it is no coincidence that results wise we have improved since he has been out of the side and that is because the balance of the side is better. I would love to see Hunt down the left where we know he is at his best) and possibly Siggy down the right, this would drop Ward to the bench as I really don't feel that he brings anything to the table playing out wide. (Obviously I would start with Peszko given the choice, but we all know that he isn't allowed to play because of it activating an extra payment on his loan. An absolute disgrace and in my opinion one of the main reasons that Morgan needs to sling his hook, get out of our club and let someone run it properly, rather than using it as a bargaining tool so that he gets all the construction in the town! But that's a different story and don't get me going on that one!!)

Rant over! Back to the main theme!

Im not for one minute saying that I don't rate Sako. And I would love to build a new team around him next season although I don't doubt this as his agent Willie McKay (yes he of the Henri Camara saga for those who don't know) will be touting him around the Premier League and if i'm honest I wouldn't blame him if he went. But I just think for these 2 games it will benefit the team to have him on the bench and bring him on if required with 20/30 mins to go to freshen us up going forward.

Anyway. let's get behind the lads, they need us now like never before. Come on Wolves. Do it for us long suffering fans.

Highley Wolf

PROMOTION SPORT CONSULTING SA A. K. A Jeannot Werth is Sako's agent. Not Willie McKay.

TDW

Wilie McKay is Saunders' agent. Not sure if that is significant.

Sako behind Doyle in a free role with Hunet on the left and siggy on the right.

4231 as such due to having both Henry and Tongo in same side.

Thinking about our predicament and all the things that appear to have been a mistake including should we have sacked MM and how have we managed to make such a Horlicks of this season got me thinking that our managerial appointments have been desperate and which way do we need to go to recover.

I read a lot of comments about there being a player clear out this summer but I cannot se this happening, if you were one of the so called "stars" of Wolves would you move to another club on less favourable terms, would another team be willing to meet the valuation of them dictated by Moxey and pay the wages, I think the answer is no to both points, that means we either sell at a loss or supplement another teams wage bill, both options would cost the club utilising funds that should go to improving our position, so we are stuck with what we got.

Under MM we survived for two seasons at least and we battled, unfortunately MM could not take us any further but in general he had the rough ingredients (bar defenders) that could and should have been able to do better given the right coaching and direction, something that Downo cannot do, as per TC or Solbakken.

If we are, as I think stuck with the players we have then the options are

1) take the financial hit and rebuild

2) carryon with Downo and wait for the players contracts to expire to avoid loosing money and look forward to another relegation next year

3) sack Downo and get someone in that can get the team to start playing and be organised in the belief that the new manager can take the 3rd division by storm next year by doing what MM could not and that was to take another step up.

My preference is option 3, as 14 months ago we all thought if Curbishly had joined then we would have survived, the difference between now and then though is no Fletcher, Jarvis or Kightly but we do have Sako and Siggy the little forgotten Pole - Peszko, accepted not like for like replacements but the above where not when they first came to Wolves

As I said, I do not anticipate a major clear out of players unless they are fringe players, purchases for the future or youngsters, the big money boys are here to stay I think

Wow. I'm playing as man City as a laugh on fm and I set chairman to hire staff and wth why did we get rid of SS and his staff. Johan large has just been appointed as a coach by city chairman on my fm. I he couldn't have been that bad and tbf we all know fm is quite right on stats haha

I always get Lange in for any team 'cause he's a good defence coach, haha
