If the new manager is Nuno as it looks his CV looks much more impressive than the other 'usual candidates' . let's face it the next manger will be a puppet for Mendez (prob from Portugal) so out of all the names so far this guy is the best!

I have a strong feeling that Nuno Santo will be the man. If he is prepared to come to English 2nd tier football then I think this might be what Fosun have been waiting for.
His record suggests he is a winner. And a technically sound coach. Its just the lack of Championship experience that worries me. But I don't think Fosun are too bothered about that anymore.
My gut is telling me that this is the man.

If we are going European, which I think is highly likely, then this guy looks about the best option. We need to realise that although we have massive backing and potential, we are realistically a mid table championship side so we are not going to get a massive name who has been there and done that. I understand the worry about a lack of championship experience, but look at the top six this season. Benitez had never managed at this level. Stam had never managed in England at all. Neither had Wagner but he kept Huddersfield up then play offs this season. Wednesday fans were asking who the hell Carvalhal was but in play offs both seasons. Jankovic took Watford up at the first attempt despite no experience of managing here and using loads of foreign loans and signings. We have tried the proven route in the past and it hasn't always worked, eg Hoddle and Taylor. No appointment or signing comes with any guarantees, some mangers/ players work at some clubs but not others so whoever we get instead of moaning and finding negatives let's get behind the lads straight from the off. COYW.

Is that South banker? I agree with you! If alladyce was given the job though and appropriate responsibility I believe he would be a good bet and able to match what Benitez has done and also move us up the prem when we got there. Would Fosun give him the guarantees he would need and allow him his coaches etc to get on board. That's another question quite apart from Sam A agreeing to it! If Benitez can do it I'm sure Sam can. He would help us attract the right sort of player wouldn't he? It's all taking too long to sort. If Sams not interested then go for Nuno and let's get started. 👍😉⚽️.

Just read on BBC gossip page that Seedorf is open to managing in England and would go to the Championship if the project was right. Just a name to throw into the discussion.
