Can only hope for a positive team selection against Blackpool. Not only get on the front foot from the start, but actually score. Surely have to start wth O'hara, Siggy, Sako and give Hammill a chance to come back and show what he can do on the pitch.

An awful lot has been said about Karl Henry, seems like we can't live with him and we can't live without him. {Ed011's Note - He'll stay with us until he retires in my opinion, after which we'll be forced to learn to play without him which will probably be for the best in the long run.

Chasetown Wolf agrees, well it was my comment lol.

Henry will send wolves down

We should keep zubar and get rid of foley, and before you say foley can play at the back or midfield, zubar can play right back and remember he came here as a centre back, and should have been given another chance there with johnston, zubar has pace which could be of help for johnston. {Ed011's Note - We do seem to have had a problem in the laster few years with playing players out of position, Zubar has the physique to be a CB but the decision making? I definitely would give him the chance there.

I often thought Zubar could fill the role that Doumbia is currently filling (when fit). Zubar cannot defend but there is no denying he is strong and has in the past whilst at full back made some powerful forward runs. He can at least play for 90 minutes.

My team to start against blackpool
Ikeme
doherty rb
Johnson cb
Batth cb
Ward lb
Doumbia cm
Ohara cm
Peszko lw
Hamill rw
Sako att md
Siggy striker up the wolves

Docherty, batth, siggy won't start hope hammil does needs must

This would be inspired! Shame it won't happen. Even if we lose its got to be worth a go just to see.

I'd go with that apart from hammill
Go no respect for him after what has done
Djwolf

Give the bloke a chance for gods sake everybody deserves a chance we will regret it else, hammill could be another 1 back to haunt us. I for 1 would play him agst blackpool lift the crowd great talent, deano could sort him out be like new sighning .

Becchio hands in a transfer request at Leeds does this mean that Doyle maybe on his way this week?

Dont know if we have been linked with Luciano Becchio but he'd be perfect for the way Saunders wants to play.

Off to the premier

24 Jan 2013 14:38:37
Luciano Becchio has handed in a transfer request at Leeds. They may come back in for Doyle if he goes.

Know this isn't a rumour but what would people like to see the starting line-up as for the Blackpool game?

Personally I'd like to see the starting line-up as:
4-4-2
Ikeme - GK (obviously)
Zubar - RB
Johnson - CBR
Batth - CBL
Ward - LB
Peszko - RM
Davis - CMR
O'Hara - CML
Sako - LM
Doyle - ST
SEB - ST

Doubt this'll be the case as DS will want to set up defensively to avoid conceding.

A couple of these may have been told bye bye time saturday comes so would no longer be playing hopefully

Like your ideas but there's more chance of me winning the lottery without a ticket. We all no that Henry (i can't do passing the ball forward) will be first on the team sheet.

OK with what we have available but we can't keep Seb and Doyle in, one or both has to be dropped to the bench

Foley will be there somewhere.

Like a boil on your arse foley hard to get rid of

"Rumour" has it that johnson, Ohara, Edwards, Ikeme, Hamill, Henry, SEB, Foley, Doyle, Hunt, Ward, Sako, Zubar and Siggy are out.. Moxey will be playing a holding midfielder role, with Morgan in goal and the ball boy from last nights Swansea game as central defence. I have also been told that they are looking to swap Stearman for a 1999 1.2 ford fiesta.
you heard it here first... {Ed011's Note - Haha

Ha ha ha!!

Mate your giving moxey too much credit here

Stearman for a 1999 fiesta ??

we'd be lucky to get a uni cycle with a flat tyre for steaman

Mills wolf

Yes Warnock would be a good signing but lets wait and see. We haven't signed him yet (be it permanently or on loan). His wages will be a HUGE stumbling block in any deal of any sort!

24 Jan 2013 11:31:40
Why don't wolves go for kris Boyd? He is available on a free at the moment. Proven goal scorer!

Last time I head about him he was languishing in the reserves on an unknown Turkish team. A bigger fall from stardom than Michael Owen.

The only way I'd sign Boyd is on a pay-per-play basis. The basis being we probably won't need him.

Re Adam Hammill: I agree with the earlier long post. Surely Dean should be able to use his man management skills to try to turn him around and bring the best out of him. Must be worth a try, Hammill is better than many players we have been linked with. Seems like they are worried he might upset some of our 'old guard.' Just down to weak management. If he is sold, you can guarantee he will come back and score against us. Dean. you should 'manage' Adam, take him under your wing and sort him out once and for all. Will benefit Wolves on the pitch and save money - a win win for once.

Keep saying it come back to haunt we play him agst blackpool deano and get him sorted out along with ohara from start &siggy up front get crowd going only 1 adam hammill

24 Jan 2013 07:36:03
i agree with that post about morgan, he was right about, solbakken might be right about morgan selling the club, wheres the money gone ? morgan moxey deano out

Solbakken was RIGHT. Wish you all listened to him now?

24 Jan 2013 02:00:24
Deano get your scouts down to port vale. Tom Pope he's a 6ft 3in Striker who has 24 goals in 27 matches. Target man knows how to put the ball in the back of the net.

Yeah and 27 years old so no thanks

Look at Rickie Lambert he is a big target man like Pope and he was snatched up at around 28 and look at him now he is one of Englands top 10 strikers

Derek Dougan was 29 when he signed for us in 1967. His goals secured our promotion the 1st Division that season and then in just over 8 season (until aged 37) scored 123 goals in mainly the top division laying on many other goals for the likes of John Richards. Oh we could get get another Derek Dougan and get rid of these pessimists off this site.

Yah what a player the doog he could play up but we didn't give him away this is the type of player we want a leader to frill the crowd and get bums of seats again which is so sadly missing at wolves these days, I mean 1 shot at goal last saturday its a joke, I don't blame deano we have to blame the players, judge deano with is players if given backing and I think he will do a good job and get we back to were we want to be
