Get on with it Fosun, Nuno is available and looks a better prospect than most names put forward. Tim desperately needs something to write about in the ES and we need to move on.

23 May 2017 23:10:40
Plays guitar well, too.

23 May 2017 21:56:21
Wollaby, I'm not a roofer and don't live in wednesfield mate.

23 May 2017 22:02:30
You said you was a roofer and a pro footballer.

23 May 2017 22:26:18
He could be from Cheshire and there are plenty of big houses that might needs new roofs and plenty of footballers . Would make sense . πŸ˜‚.

23 May 2017 22:27:00
I'm sure our friendly Editor can confirm what you said again Wednesfield. About being a roofer.
I think it was Ed 033 who reprinted it a week or so back.
Are you there Ed? ., .

{Ed007's Note - It's still there for everyone to see mate, just put 'roofer' into the search box and scroll down the results....

{Ed033's Note - What a memory Lowwolf.

A Wednesfield wolf post:

23 May 2017 22:34:04

{Ed007's Note - No probs.}

24 May 2017 12:03:25
Busted :D.

23 May 2017 21:04:20
Wow sam allardyce quitting football now that was a shock but if it for personal reasons than that's understandable.

23 May 2017 20:39:41
I like the look of Nuno Espirito Santo and from what I've read he'd be a very good appointment but also maybe to good a bit like silva tbh, he got rio ave to Europe league, Valencia to 4th and porto to second in first season ( and was harshly treated on leaving Porto from what I've read) I think if he would come we'd have to get promoted to keep him.

23 May 2017 19:20:58
The truth is were the most boring club in all aspects it's so repetitive. I've not been excited since hunt scored the goal to keep us in the prem. along time ago.

23 May 2017 20:34:26
I'll tell you what's boring, it's Wednesfield from the rooftops. Walsall is just down the road and is more entertaining.

23 May 2017 21:05:09
Perhaps Fosun want to relocate the club to Portugal. It seems to me most of our activities are focused over there? πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ˜‰.

23 May 2017 21:23:12
Thats genuinely the last time I was bouncing off the walls about my beloved wolves.

Huge moment.

23 May 2017 23:21:14
If Wolves relocate to Portugal, I'm off there too. πŸ›«πŸ‡΅πŸ‡ΉπŸ˜Žβš½οΈπŸΊβ›΅οΈβ›±πŸŒžπŸ˜΄.

23 May 2017 18:51:05
And here's me thinking "Junk Mail" is what the Postman brings. Roll on August!

23 May 2017 18:13:05
Daz wolves fan give the job 2 mike bassett lol.

23 May 2017 17:14:22
Sam Alladyce anyone? Just quit Palace apparently.

23 May 2017 18:32:33
He has quit .

23 May 2017 11:40:38
Marco Silva is in talks with Porto.

23 May 2017 12:14:02
Yep, that looks to be the case with regards MS? So that would appear to be the end of that if it was ever an option in the first place. Looks like his choice is Porto or Southampton! So our Drama goes on as usual! 😒.

23 May 2017 15:39:51
On other site their linkin us with Nuno ex Porto boss? The list gets longer lol.

23 May 2017 16:14:42
Don't forget Paulo Sousa.

23 May 2017 17:19:58
Portuguese sports news reporters advising that Nuno is to be next wolves manager . links with Mendes .

23 May 2017 17:36:04
Wouldn't rule it out Pete, definitely a step up from Lambert.

23 May 2017 17:51:44
Will not be big Sam Paul . he would never work with Mendes or Fosun . he likes total control. Nuno Santo has a decent track record took Porto to 2nd in their league behind Benfica could be an option also Mendes his agent . looks as this could explain delay as Porto waiting for Silva and the freeing Nuno Santo.

23 May 2017 18:04:01
I'm on about Nuno, Pete, I don't want big Sam.

23 May 2017 21:16:56
Just speaking to my friend who is a Valencia season ticket holder and says that Nuno would be perfect for Wolves, very aggressive and attacking football. And that Ruben Vezo will follow, Nuno also a big friend of Mendes.

23 May 2017 09:54:21
Hey guys, what happened last night in manchester puts life in perspective, heres us posting everyday about what's going on at our club like its the only important thing in the world. i'm sure on behalf of of not just Wolves rumours family but people accross Wolves and beyond we all send our love and thoughts to all the familys who have lost children in a barbarick and cowardly attack.

23 May 2017 10:54:07
Absolutely Davetcb, well said. Senseless and barbaric, but they will never prevail in a civilised world. RIP.

23 May 2017 11:10:54
Echo that.!

23 May 2017 11:17:11
Agree wholeheartedly Dave, their just brainwashed scum and cowards!

23 May 2017 11:52:27
Agree completely Dave, those responsible for this sickening attack are nothing but cowardly scumbags.
Thoughts are with the families of those who lost someone.

23 May 2017 12:17:36
Agree Dave 100% they are scumbags and lowest of the lowest who have done that, realy hope with all my heart they get who is responsible for that cowardly act.

23 May 2017 13:03:14
Well said all.

I was listening to the radio this morning and there was a an interview with Clarence Seedorf. He was interested in managing in England, and even starting in the Championship. Would this be chap we should be looking at. There aren't many who have won more than him as a player. He's played in several countries. He's still young at 41. He's played under many top managers. He has the name recognition that an international company like Fosun might be looking for. He hasn't much managerial experience, a brief spell at AC Milan and a club in China. Whenever I've heard him on TV as a pundit he comes across as very intelligent. I'm not saying he is in the running for the job, I'm just wandering if he is someone worth looking at. Plus we have Sherwin Seedorf who is a relation to Clarence so maybe that could be an influencing factor. What do you guys think?

23 May 2017 14:06:41
Gotta say clive I thought to myself the other day about seedorf being wolves manager and I got to say he really appeals to me. Not sure he had the best of times at Milan in terms of results ect but I don't think there's many managers who would have at the time as they were in the process of selling the club and had sold all of there best players. I agree that he has the right stature within the game to attract the sort of players us fans crave for (weather mendes would allow it) and could possibly play the sort of expansive attacking football we are looking for. Also with Defoe going to Bournemouth and Afobe maybe being 4th choice striker behind him callum wilson and josh king would anyone take him back? I would in heart beat. UTW.

23 May 2017 15:01:01
To be honest wouldn't have him back now. Showed a lack of judgement moving to Bournemouth and looks like his career has stalled there.

Morning All

Hope you are all well and enjoying a break from what became a turgid end to the season. One or two observations from me.

1. It does seems obvious to us all that that Lambert is going. But what's the delay? I don't believe its a contract running out at the end of the month. Would 3 weeks really bother a conglomerate like Fosun.

2. If Karanka is to be our new manager then why hasn't it been done already. He is out of work and totally available. If it is him what is the delay.

3. I believe that there choice is definitely Marco Silva, that is who they are waiting for. If he declines or doesn't leave Hull then yes, I would guess that Karanka is probably second choice.

4. Wolves had agreed fees and contracts with 4 players. This is a fact. So are they still waiting to sign for Wolves or are the deals off. I have been led to believe that one of these deals was in excess of Β£15m.

Just my thoughts and observations on the last week or so. Any thoughts fellow gossipers?

23 May 2017 08:21:09
There has been no press release of any kind from the club unlike the situation we had with Zenga/ Jacket so it could well be that PL is still in the managerial position and all the rumours are just that, rumours.
I would imagine that player purchases are being handled by Mendes/ Lambert and we will not be aware of them until the ink is dry on the contracts so all the guessing is pointless as there will be a focus on younger foreign players who will be under our radar--- who would have picked Costa last year?
Bottom line is that we will not know what has happened or is going to happen until the club decides to let us know so some patience will be required, just hoping that whatever the situation it can excite us for the coming season.

23 May 2017 09:11:03
Tom I agree with 1 - 3 have believed similar for a while.
On 4 you can't name names I know but will these transfers still be good under the uncertainty of who will be head coach?

23 May 2017 13:40:14
Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that new signings started on 1 July. There may be players lined up who have agreed to sign, but it is probably wise to keep quiet until they are signed to avoid approaches from other clubs.

23 May 2017 14:14:34
Think its 1st June.
