If by some miracle we get promoted next season, Morgan will be back as chairman in a flash. The Preston melt-down will be forgotten. In the meantime he has his hand-picked board of directors in place and the puppet show will go on.

Next season will probably show that we can make a profit indefinitely as a tightly-run Championship club without the parachute payments. This will suit Morgan, as he can then wait it out and see what happens. If he had to put millions in to break even, he might sell up instead.

If Steve Morgan doesn't want to sell then he should show his commitment by investing some real money in the team. Put up or get out! If you don't have the ambition to match that of the fans you should get the job done and sell Steve, otherwise you will be presiding over a shrinking asset and you business track record would suggest that is not you.

I'm afraid that the reality is that Mr. Morgan likes to do what he wants when he wants because he as money and owns club,
and must think that he is getting is own back for fans having a go at him.
But on the other hand he might surprise us and sell out of the blue, then I suppose we would all thank him then for what he as done, funny game football.
Me personally hope he sells to someone who can take us forward because obviously Mr. Morgan does not want to spend any of is wealth on improving the side that as become obvious to every one.
