Is KJ going or not. I've a horrid feeling he'll stay : (

22 Jul 2016 21:32:54
Summer Wolf if they intended him to stay they wouldn't of had an agreement in place with the other guy who took Spain job. He knows his job is untenable as he has been belittled by this. If he was stayin they would of said by now, but at the moment imo their sortin a deal for a new manager and agreeing severance pay for JACKETT. Remember they've only been here just over 24hrs so relax.

23 Jul 2016 08:13:56
But wasn't it Li and his lot who had the agreement with lopetegui, not Fosun? If Jacket stays you'd better temper your enthusiasm as to what players to expect. Thelwell presumably would also be part of it? Crawley winger anybody?!

22 Jul 2016 20:26:32
Gentlemen this is what you might call squeaky bum time.
Hopefully we will find out very quickly what Fuson intend regarding players.
We actually have no idea, just a load of press speculation. So will Jorg Mendez come good, will he find is an experienced new manager?
We hold our breath and wait.

22 Jul 2016 20:35:14
Who's sanctioning players out if nobody to buy replacements?!

22 Jul 2016 22:00:39
Jez Moxey under instruction from the new owners.

22 Jul 2016 22:53:57
So Moxey and the new owners know a good/ bad football player or how they fit into his team/ tactics do they? Thought that was the managers job.

22 Jul 2016 20:04:53
Does anyone think that tim sherwood would be a good shout? He did pants at villa but at tottenham he was working woth the kids few of which havnt done that bad, might work well with our academy.

22 Jul 2016 20:27:45
NO
The Chap from Watford . Flores was it?
He's the one.

22 Jul 2016 20:46:56
He's gone. Espanyol I think it was.

22 Jul 2016 19:42:17
Nothing changes then, threadbare squad and the only movement is out, yes I'm getting impatient and frustrated, just hope we make some exceptional additions soon, let's see what transpires on Monday, time is passing us by I would feel more at ease with some quality signings sooner rather than later.

22 Jul 2016 19:14:45
1.25m really does't buy very much these days!

22 Jul 2016 21:43:07
McCormack quoted as £10mil. See where we go eh. People were saying £20/ 30 mil is a lot in the Chamionship. We need to make a start and quick. I agree, see what monday brings, but whilst everyone is dreaming, we're relegation candidates.,

22 Jul 2016 21:53:50
So 8 McDonalds equals 1 McCormack.

22 Jul 2016 18:27:44
Danny ings . Nathan dyer Alan judge keen gibbs and a 2 or 3 talanted forein players would be nice and a nutter at the back lol.

22 Jul 2016 18:13:39
Who reckons jackett stays then.

22 Jul 2016 18:23:28
No way! He stays seasons over before it starts! He will be gone!

22 Jul 2016 18:08:27
Right. we've already got a threadbare squad and now we've sold our only playmaker. any chance of these 5 or 6 quality signings we've been promised before the season starts and we get hammered every week.

22 Jul 2016 17:31:09
McDonald gone to Fulham 1.25 we need to start buying asap.

22 Jul 2016 17:21:10
Steve Bruce is perfect for Wolves. proven track record and he has done a fantastic job with limited funds at Hull so to our new board go and get him ASAP!

22 Jul 2016 15:50:35
Actions speak louder than words and this will ultimatly show what Fosuns intentions are for our club.

The first big statement will be what manager they require. Will they stick with Jackett or will they go for a big name boss which will show the footballing world we mean business.

Then same with the player signings. Will they be average players or quality?!

Id personally love for us to go for Frank De Boer. I would be suprised but this would show we mean business

We will know more on Monday but let's hope it will show ambition for our great club.

22 Jul 2016 20:16:09
Been saying De Boer sinse yesterday he would be a class act lver some of the dross mentioned on various sites.

22 Jul 2016 15:21:24
Jackett not been sacked yet. Lol.

22 Jul 2016 15:44:12
Signed a 10yr contract.

22 Jul 2016 16:37:33
With Vodafone.

22 Jul 2016 15:17:30
I have it on good authority Thorsten Frink is being considered for our soon to be vacant managerial roll #ITK.

22 Jul 2016 15:48:16
who?

22 Jul 2016 15:53:14
I think we'll be aiming a little higher than the kind of manager who gets sacked by the likes of APOEL.

22 Jul 2016 16:32:02
Look at finks record - never done f all. Foreign doesn't equal good?

22 Jul 2016 15:12:14
How about Danny Ings as a potential target? Rangers are currently favourite to get him but surely we could now out muscle them if our new owners are serious.

22 jul 2016 14:36:28
harry redknapp on way to wolves?

22 Jul 2016 15:38:30
Hope so giggs as assistant.

22 Jul 2016 16:56:17
Giggs as assistant? Having a laugh, he left United because he doesn't want to be an assistant why would he come to wolves to do the same?

22 Jul 2016 14:34:02
Steve Bruce coming to wolves?

22 Jul 2016 14:41:30
Hope not.

22 Jul 2016 14:05:42
I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill them with a terrible resolve!

22 Jul 2016 14:02:03
Like people have said suggestions Steve Bruce is leaving Hull, possible link to Molinuex now the takeover is done?

22 Jul 2016 14:05:56
Would be a massive yes from me, knows the league inside out and signs good players when he gets financial backing.

22 Jul 2016 14:19:33
Bloody hell here we go again,
Bruce as manager!
Not Bloody Likely!

22 Jul 2016 14:21:31
No thanks, what has he really done and what type of football do his teams play?
I would go for Murat Yakin, Chritophe Galtier or Roger Schmidt (long shot)

22 Jul 2016 13:55:41
Steve Bruce anyone?

22 Jul 2016 14:21:55
Good god no!

22 Jul 2016 13:53:16
Kept the faith and my early bird paid off.

22 Jul 2016 13:48:10
Twitter stating Steve Bruce has left Hull City FC.

22 Jul 2016 13:47:59
Demon, you genuinely know nothing about the takeover do you? Everything you've said has been wrong and then I believed you said after, "nobody knows anything"😂😂.

22 Jul 2016 13:42:39
Lets dream big.

manuel pellegrini.

22 Jul 2016 12:45:15
My only concern with these new owners is are we just a cheap gamble. 30mil club plus 30mil investment is apparently what they turnover in 2 days. So might just be a cheap gamble for the huge return that the premier league offers. My concern is if we ever get relegated at any point. Would they really care or just let us rot in league 1/ 2.

22 Jul 2016 13:50:49
Jesus, give em a chance, they ain't had their feet under the table for 24hrs yet and people are already moaning.

22 Jul 2016 14:46:21
Can't believe it. Shall we bring back Morgan. Sad!

22 Jul 2016 13:04:35
Spot on mate.

22 Jul 2016 13:12:53
I knew putting my cv on line was a mistake, now someone has hacked it for themseves.

22 Jul 2016 12:33:23
Sven Goran Erikkson for manager? As the Chinese seem to love him for some reason lol I'd personally like to see Ryan Giggs with Steve mclaren as his number 2 as mclaren is a great trainer but crap manager and Giggs can attract players so could work well as a duo.

22 Jul 2016 12:56:51
Not sure I agree with you on Giggs and McLaren but Giggs alone with a Man utd pal like Neville or Scholes perhaps

Sven a real possibility even though he didn't last long at Leicester.

22 Jul 2016 13:29:38
No thanks!

22 Jul 2016 12:21:57
My choice would be former Italian national team manager Cesare Prandelli as Head Coach and Director of football. Excellent track record at the very top of the game. Ethics that would make Sir Jack proud.

22 Jul 2016 12:11:29
Outgoing chief executive Jez Moxey is set to move to Championship rivals Norwich after overseeing Wolves' transition to the new owners.
From a reliable sauce #ITK.

22 Jul 2016 12:57:46
Better tell Delia to start cooking then.

22 Jul 2016 13:22:07
Bertiebassett, I take it your reliable source is the national press.

22 Jul 2016 11:00:38
Martinez a disaster r u joking me look at wigan and didn't do tht bad with Everton he can build something special here.

22 Jul 2016 11:21:52
Great going forward but haemorrhage goals, may as well get Kevin Keegan.

KevWolf's mention of Michael Laudrop would be good.

22 Jul 2016 10:57:53
Hi everyone. I've followed this page for years but never posted so start off by saying thankyou for entertaining me all these years. I'm finding it a little frustrating to see the moaning about the new owners. Why on earth are people not happy. This is a huge move in the right direction for our beloved club. Let's wait to really see their intentions before we start anything. This owner is no mug. He will want success as we all do. My choice for manager would be either martinez or how about moyes, what's he doing now?

22 Jul 2016 11:54:38
Moyes is hot favourite for the Sunderland job.

22 Jul 2016 12:59:32
He would be better with us Sunderland will always struggle but with us he can achieve something can't see him being offered the job though.

22 Jul 2016 10:38:37
Laurent Blanc or Marcel Bielsa, supported by Gary Neville for me.

22 Jul 2016 10:43:05
Keep dreaming Mill.

22 Jul 2016 12:15:36
Blanc?! So he goes from France to managing in the chump?
If we were in the Prem i'd say doubtful, but in the Championship no chance.
Keep saying we need someone who (a) is available (no time for extended legal battles now) (b) has some knowledge of English football given the entire mangement structure now is new to the game. (c) hopefully play good football.
That doesn't leave many.

22 Jul 2016 13:07:13
No it doesn't Poz and Blanc is wishful thinking who is scouting a new manager anyway? Surely not Moxey so must be the new board which means we should expect the unexpected, weird and disappointing.

22 Jul 2016 09:28:26
Picked this up from molmix. Interesting listen. Lasts about 6 minutes and starts at 1:06:20

goo.gl/LrnltI

22 Jul 2016 10:12:08
That was an interesting listen, if that bloke was on the money then, good times could be right round the corner!

22 Jul 2016 09:17:57
So it looks like Jez is possibly off to Norwich, must be Delia's pies that swung it.

22 Jul 2016 09:33:43
Oh well someone else's problem now.

22 Jul 2016 08:28:55
Martinez would be a disaster. How about Marcelo Bielsa?

22 Jul 2016 08:57:27
We're not looking for someone to hold on to the job for a couple of days.

22 Jul 2016 09:03:11
How about roberto mancini anyone?
By the way Ince again congrats to all the gold and black army happy days.

22 Jul 2016 10:31:33
how about Rijkaard, laudrup or Hiddink?

22 Jul 2016 11:09:25
Would definitely take Laudrop, good shout!

22 Jul 2016 07:23:46
Martinez cracking shout tht would be a massive statement if we got him.

22 Jul 2016 07:50:25
Not entirely convinced about Martinez. he did not do a great job at Everton.

22 Jul 2016 08:29:41
Martinez would be a disaster.

22 Jul 2016 08:35:30
Martinez just another KJ. De Boer for me if we could get him.

22 Jul 2016 08:41:32
Why a disaster? Martinez did an exceptional job at Swansea and initially at Everton. Went a bit pear shaped recently but with a new foreign owner, new CEO, we need someone who knows the English game.

22 Jul 2016 09:29:11
Missed out the wigan bit there poz, ruined them! I agree martinez no better than kenny, still gutted flores just moved to new club, i'm going to put one out there Marco Silva, walked out on Olympiakos recently :)

22 Jul 2016 12:22:13
I think opinions of Martinez have been soured by last years events at Everton - there were clearly issues behind the scenes I suggest, but either way its a game of opinions George. i'd have him.
I really do think we need someone with experience of the English game given our new managerial set up with no one around the club with a clue about how to get out the division. blind leading the blind scenario. If you apply this principle, there's not that many out there available NOW.

22 Jul 2016 07:15:12
My sauce tells me that the mangers job is between two candidates (1)Thorsten Fink and (2)Sérgio Conceição. (Jorge Mendes is the agent of Conceição) #ITK.

22 Jul 2016 08:26:12
Why would we want either of these? Look at their records - modest at best. Foreign unpronounceable names doesn't mean good. Much better options out there.

I know nothing, but i'd take Martinez.

22 Jul 2016 06:29:19
Just can't see kj being given the job he would be so out his depth with players valued at 12m plus need a real decent manager who used that type price off player bit long shot but avrahm grant maybe anyone else got suggestions for job - ( please no hoddle keane or pullis )

22 Jul 2016 06:40:09
JACKETT will be gone when he's back from Ireland, they will get someone in to show their intent. They haven't brought us to stagnate in the Championship, hence why JACKETT will be gone.

22 Jul 2016 07:23:13
It will be interesting to see if Fosun have a backup manager to Lopetegui (if he was really ever their man) . I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jackett stay, at least for a few months whilst Fosun familiarise themselves with English football. I’ve read how they have a wide and diverse range of investments, but this appears to be their first into sport, and football in particular. As we have seen in the past football has made chumps of some very clever businessmen. I wouldn’t expect massive changes in the first twelve months.

22 Jul 2016 08:21:20
Disagree, this group want instant success and they will pay to get it. We're their first football team they will definitely want to make a mark,

22 Jul 2016 06:04:58
Chinese Whispers-Louis Felipe Scolari.

22 Jul 2016 08:42:49
Really?! Scolari in the Championship?

22 Jul 2016 09:39:47
I think it's silly season again.

22 Jul 2016 01:03:31
About the £20m - £30m ensured investment. it was likely a standard that was preset by Morgan, Fosum likely enquired and in a breath ticked that box. it wouldn't be wise for them to say they have £100m to blow on players. because clubs would demand more money for players. Stop being so pessimistic.

22 Jul 2016 00:12:55
Hi my first post on here so please be gentle. Been checking the site every few minutes for news and like many posters prob got a little over excited with the prospect of 50 million + signings.

Did notice that it was Morgan who claimed that they were spending 20-30 million not the new buyers.

Also now interested in the managerial situation and potential signings. Saw someone mention de boer would be very happy with that. Also believe KJ deserves credit for what he has done for us considering the position we were in when he took over.

If we are going to challenge for the league this year we need wholesale changes so hopefully they will deliver, but not expecting the 5 mega signings on Monday (please surprise us)

I believe as a company they will want to be successful as opposed to a rich mans play thing who could get bored quickly so I'm keeping the faith.

Noticed a Moscow wolf on here. You still in Moscow? Met a couple of wolves fans but they have now left to go back to the UK so if your about?

22 Jul 2016 00:01:33
The Spanish manager had signed some agreement to come to Wolves, but at the end of the day the pull of managing The Spanish national team proved too much. looking forward to seeing who we get.

21 Jul 2016 23:36:23
You have all missed one great manager who should be considered:
STEVE McCLAREN.
What a great manager he would make for our revival into the the world of proper football.
Steve McClaren, remember the name guys.
He is coming to WWFC.
What a manager!
Cant wait.
Sorry, just woke up,
I was having a nightmare!
