Hope Mick is reading some of CBs posts on tactics.

I hope Mick takes his stubborn head off him and changes tactics a bit.It will be interesting to see who plays at RB against Chelsea Doherty or Zubar.Foley is still apparently not 100%.
Gibo

It appers the Zubar will start against Chelsea and Fletcher very may well too.

Is coach checking out the Chelsea boys?

Hi Guys,

Given a bit of thought to how we should play against Chelsea and I am going for the Maginot system - 5 in midfield 5 in defence and 1 in goal . This system is often played when teams have to hold onto a lead and for the history buff's is based on the wall built around France between 1930 to 1940. Plan is to boss the midfield and when Chelsea are thinking what the bumble bee's boots is going on here , we go around the trademen's entrance and them hit with the breakaway goal. Before Chelsea can do a thing about it we will be washed up showered , shopped in Harrods and back no the coach home !
So this week it is 5-5-1 the Maginot Line.
What do you think Gibo , Loyal Fan and Big D ?

Will leave with this to ponder , " We miss with 100 % of the shots we never take ! "

P.s. that film I am Legend is not about
Coaching Badges .

Is there no end to the wise ones wisdom

I totally agree with getting men behind the ball and trying to frustrate Chelsea and the crowd.

My concern is that we look shaky at the back at the moment with a standard 4. So throwing another defender into the mix could completely confuse things.

You will recall that MM tinkered with our defence at Stanford Bridge two seasons ago in mid November. MM would argue that at the time he played 3 at the back, watching from the stands I would have called it 5. We were 2v0 down after 12 mins before MM reverted back to 4 in defence. We looked a lot stronger after that and prevented a cricket score, despite finally losing 4v0.

I would stick with 4 5 1 although we have got to be more positive that at Everton. Whilst I cannot see us getting anything from the match, this is our best chance since promotion to take a point or three from Stanford Bridge, but we have got to be more positive than last week.

You should always know what you say but not always say what you know. Hope the coach likes this one.

With Chelsea having lost three out of four past games they will no doubt be looking for blood especially with the match being at the bridge.I reckon we should play 4-5-1 with Doyle playing behind Fletcher.Chelsea are a shadow of their former selves of late so we should try to take advantage of that.If we can that is.
