BRILLIANT WIN TODAY!!

I was watching the post match interview on youtube and KJ was asked if he is having a day off tomorrow.

His reply
"No, i'm scouting"

V interesting!

but like I said very good win today, didn't expect to lose today but didn't expect a 2-0 win either, great way to kick off the weekend, let's hope results go our way tomorrow, with a lot of the top 9 playing one another!

Finally, what a finish from Nouha!!

We needed that win to stay in the mix. No team wants to play us now. I wish we had that ref vs Bournemouth!

Terrific result against a good Derby side let's hope results go for us today.
Wish we could get a loan player or two for Thursday that would give us a good chance of making playoffs

Massive win! Got that bit of luck u need, 13 pts out the final 7 games will hopefully be enough! When is Ikeme back as I've got not faith in our keeper.

Without loan player or players I don't think we will make playoffs although we have tried really hard and it was a good earned win against a very good
Derby side we would probably have to meet them if we achieved playoffs and being honest we would have to have the same bit of luck to beat them again our midfield is my biggest worry were we Need a player to take some pressure off McDonald that's were I think our weakness is as teams take control of midfield against us and we seam to play deaper and deaper allowing other teams to much room to get shots at our goal

We could always bring Evans back, bigwolf. But I think you mean a Premier quality CM. Well, we can't get one of those on loan unless they are out of favour at their club, which would really need to be a mid-table Premier club to be worthwhile. Perhaps someone just back from injury. Actually I can't see it happening unless something drastic happens like KM getting injured.

Loan players are only any good to us if they are better than those we already have. I find it very interesting that the people who want us to bring in loan players never seem to come up with any names. We have a very good team, not perfect, but certainly doing the business and moving in the right direction. Kenny has put this team together with due diligence. That same due diligence will have been applied to examining the loan market and if nobody is brought in you can rest assured that there is nobody out there that fits his criteria which will include not only playing ability, but temperament, character and ability to fit in to the system.

It's all to do with money Jack Russell, if Sako or Macdonald get injured who in our squad is good enough to replace them? IMO we haven't anyone! Our best 11 is good enough to get play offs but our squad is weak on quality. Fingers crossed they don't get injured or forget anychance of play offs.

Got to agree with comments Paul, spot on
We surely have had long enough now to get players in we can all see what we want to try and make playoffs hope something is done
There are a lot of players going out but nothing coming in which I find strange with position we are in at present
Young players coming through is great for club but you need a mixture of both spending money as well to become a great club and get to premier were everyone wants to be I hope I know I do

It's always to do with money, Paul. Which is no why I do not see any loan players coming in unless they are better than those we already have. We did OK when Sako was off at the ACN and, whilst I rate McDonald, he has had his off days and we have still won. I can see that KJ would argue that we could cope with what we have.

Interesting point you make on the injuries though. Have you noticed how our injury list has plummeted since KJ took over?

26 Mar 2015 12:53:30
You will only get better players if your willin to pay the bigger wages, it's like shoppin at Poundland compared to Harrods, and sadly were lookin closer to Poundland! We have done well this season to still be in the hunt for a play off spot as our owner and board have shown little or no ambition!

26 Mar 2015 17:30:00
We need to stay solvent and within the rules, Paul. We are not in a position to shop at Harrods at the moment. Of course we all want to see our team in the top flight and competing with the best, but I would rather that we did not emulate Portsmouth in doing so.

26 Mar 2015 18:22:29
R u Morgan or Moxey in disguise?? I was only lookin for a couple of LOAN signins till the end of season!! That means we only pay wages for a couple of months max!! We can easily afford that with the top earners like Johnson and Ohara off our wages! Plus other players we've loaned out. Really hope we can sneak it into play offs as then it's anybody's but we are tryin to do things on the cheap!

26 Mar 2015 19:58:19
What couple of loan signings were you hoping for Paul? Kenwyne Jones goes from Cardiff to Bournemouth, Jonny Williams and Zeki Fryers go to Ipswich. Williams has been injury prone, Jones is hardly prolific and, with the players we have, we don't need Fryers even for cover.

You seem to want loan players as if they were some kind of trophy, but you haven't put a single name forward to support your argument. If they aren't better than we already have, then we shouldn't want them.

26 Mar 2015 21:05:12
I'd of acted earlier and gone for Knockaert, Grealish and Albrighton. I'd of been happy with 2 out of them 3. Any of them would be a positive to our squad!
