I cannot believe all the negativity following todays news. Some of you need to get a grip, better still, a life. If you can be bring doom and gloom before the new owners have even walked through the door, you have a problem. Those who wanted rid of Morgan, Moxey and KJ. You've got your wish. If you are not prepared to support the new owners before they have even started, then Wolves don't need you. Do us all a favour, go and find another club to bring down.

Im with you MJ, were heading into uncharted waters with takeover, the 2 M's are gone, and I for one cannot wait for the club to move forward.
Get rid of Thelwell now and give Kenny a chance with the right support and money, big Mick had the same problem, identified a lot of targets only for them to be blocked.
Kenny had no say in targets or who was bought to club, hence why he never played Mason, I think he was making a statement after the Afobe saga.
Anyone who thinks we will just splash millions on players straight away are dreaming, we have a good nucleus of players, a few good signings in key areas and we have a good side to compete in the league, theowing big money at it is not the answer, look at Derby for instance and Fulham.

ok, so finally we been took over so what we learnt from the last few months leading up to today. well 1st wolves must have more people inside the club who are itk who actually only know same as rest us (zero). a few people claiming be itk were they told us chinese, they said 2 consortiums, so well done.
we learnt that our local paper who meant be "well in at club" actually were so far out the inner circle they're a joke. only news they reported was either so far behind events was embarrassing or just copied everyone elses storiesm(lazy journalism).
we learnt that even experts like guillem balague get things wrong, got minor details right but was never aware of the fosom consortium. we also learnt that don't matter what gets said or done, wolves have the best security ever as fosum deal only broke last night by the telegraph paper (not local itk e & s).
but most importantly what we learnt was every single person who wrote on this forum all had same thing in common. we're wolves 100% through and through and through good and bad we will always support our club for better for worse we're there. we are wolves and wolves are we
so hold on tight we going on one hell of a journey don't know where we end up but sure as hell going enjoy it coyw, pride of the black country and now pride of china.

20/ 30 mill we haven't spent that on players for years money is not everything build good foudations then start to buy like bournemouth have. anyone coming to us a championship side for 10 mill plus isn't there cause of football will purely because we can now offer better wages, spend good money on young hungry players. newcastle spend big every season there wages are unbelieveable and look where they are now, takeover still good news for me they have the money but not silly enough to spend 50 mill on 5 players and expect to just go straight back into the PL.

First Steve Morgan has made a profit out of Wolves . Apart from the money he was forced to put in by JH there was no other investment. Grants etc paid for the infrastructure investment and now he had his money back and more.
He quitted last season when he realised he would have to spend and sold Afobe etc to avoid further investment. We should have the courtesy to welcome our new owners. Politeness is important in Asia and hope they will do better than SM.

Do you honestly believe the club are not in a better position than when he took over off the field? If you have proof the grants paid for the academy please share it.
As for on the pitch agree we're pretty much in the same place we started however with players like Hause and Iorfa we have walking proof his investment will pay dividends whether for our 1st team or our bank balance if we sell them.
I'm excited by the new owners and glad it's sorted as time for a new chapter in our history but we shouldn't be so naive in thinking Morgan has done nothing for us. Apparently something all the Chinese investors are hugely keen on are clubs with top youth set ups. Without our Cat 1 would we have been as appealing to them?

Unbelievably negative reaction from the vast majority, all because it isn't necessarily someone of abramovich excess. In their heads, stoked up by each other, and the ITK crazies, they saw dollar signs and unlimited spends, blinded by greed, by the idea of gloating to albion fans. We are in the championship. There is a thing called FFP, that most of us think right when it's applied to everyone but ourselves it seems.
There isn't even a press conference until Monday and already most had decided they KNOW what the plans are. Some will be correct, because every conceivable option. has been covered, mist of they negative ones, so let's hope a few are right, the positive ones.
We all cried out for a new owner, we got one. No one cared where they came from a day ago, or what their plan was, but now after a statement, and realisation. that it's not the 4th or 7th richest man in China, but the 17th, it's all doom and gloom.

Due to the expansion in the football market regarding value, prices of players etc, I've come to the conclusion that we are probably owned by someone of the same relative wealth of Morgan when he took over. i.e players are 10 times more expensive etc. However Morgan has only injected a clause that states the same wealth is spent as what he spent. Unless the Chinese really put there hands in there pockets and look at spending more like 60-70 million over the two years I can't see us being a force to be reckoned with in the championship. We need spending power that's going to mirror parachute payments.
That being said I don't want the problem of having the players on stupid money like we had when we intitially were relegated. Nor do I want the tripe that we have at the moment.
I think this is going to be a funny old season and it will be interesting to see what's spent pre season and also in January. But say he spends 20 mil a season we aren't going to move forwards or backwards simply maintain our mid table championship status.
Anyone got any genuine ideas of who's coming in and who's going out?
Also I'm going to be seriously worried about Kenny Jackett and Kevin Thelwell with anything more than £10.62.
Anybody think that there will be unveilings at the official press conference on Monday?

We need an experienced manager not Giggs who has not a held a managerial job. Look at the mess Gary Neville made at Valencia. Ex players need to learn the job. Don't know who is available but it needs someone who can play attractive football but is tough enough for the rigours of this league, and who wants to win games rather than not lose them. If Kenny goes I wish him well, decent bloke, he got us out of a right mess but lost his way when Morgan pulled the plug.

Jus want to interrupt all the excitement and say that if this is the end of Kj. The man in my eyes is an absolute legend. The loyalty and professionalism he has shown in the past few weeks is equal to or higher than any level of it ever shown by anyone in the history of the sport and second to none. He's earned any payout he is due and I really hope he finds a new club soon and any club will be lucky to have him. Hope he goes down with everyone as 1 of our most highly respected managers and hope I never hear a single boo aimed at him. All the best for the future kenny.

Well am I glad I kept the faith and renewed with the early bird! Guys and girls we deserve this, it is our moment so enjoy the journey and hopefully the glory days will return.
