I may be on my own here but I get impression club given up on this season hence why so many underachievers being linked to club -if morgan really wanted to he would finance a serious promotion push like Middlesbrough / derby doing -would thought that if wanted be accepted back into club by fans that would help go long way to appeaseing the animosity towards him by being less than generous with kitty for players he making a even bigger rod for his back it almost like he want everyone know he still top dog but is punishing club for the sctions off those fans at preston -he giving really mixed signals on one hand won't spend £ yet still cares enough allegedly to enter dressing room and address players at 1/ 2 time against cardiff.

21 Jan 2016 23:23:20
If you go up via play offs 120m spend one season in the prem you get 99m for coming down why won't he take a gamble and spend 20-30m.

22 Jan 2016 12:14:23
Yeah, because that worked really well for Fulham!

22 Jan 2016 15:20:01
Fulham spent on to many superstars on stupid wages rather than hard grafters on sensible wage also small income from fans so bound spend beyond what could afford.

22 Jan 2016 16:33:59
Who said he went into dressing room against Cardiff? You sure you're not confusing that with the fact Micky Gray said it happened in his time at Wolves too?

22 Jan 2016 16:35:58
If Morgan had wanted this then last season would have been the time.
Yet many still regard him as a good businesman.

22 Jan 2016 18:35:26
He def went in at cardiff game prob see who nxt to go.

21 jan 2016 20:39:56
arron collins deal to cost excess of £100k having a medical, man utd + newcastle were also chasing him, may be a master stroke for the future again?

21 Jan 2016 19:36:33
Can anyone tell me when we don't have sufficient money to sign senior players of any worth why we keep spending money on players for the future. Surely we have enough of those at the moment, shouldn't we be taking them on as kids and developing them not buying 18/ 20 year olds off other lower league teams. Shouldn't we put a stop on money going out of the club in this way and use it for the funds for senior players that can improve us. Seems to me that thelwell has his own agenda what that is God knows. The recruitment system is not working, you don't even have to be a football man to see that. If it was industry thelwell would have been sacked long before now and as for jackett letting it happen I can only assume that he has bottle he should have walked if he has no say. If he does have the say as he claims then he needs to be sacked along with thelwell.

21 Jan 2016 19:21:32
Well there is no money to spend transfer fees and they won't pay wages. Morgan pulled the plug they just balancing the books. It will take an age to find a buyer so we'll be looking at avoiding relegation for the next 3 seasons with jackett and thelwell in charge. Other managers in this division have less money to spend and do a better job. If McCarthy was still there we'd be a top six team. What money they've had to spend has been wasted on players not good enough for this league. The fees we've paid and the wages we are paying them could have bought us a couple of decent championship / lower prem players. Jackett got to go.

21 Jan 2016 16:21:08
I had to laugh at the article entitled 'What can Nicolei Boilesen bring to Wolves? Tempted to say a couple of strikers and a centre back would be a good start!

Apparently we're willing to pull the plug on the deal as we are fed up waiting for an answer. Typical, the only deal on the table and we're pulling out.

21 Jan 2016 15:32:53
Oops I meant Adam, not Austin.

21 Jan 2016 14:21:50
Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers are on the verge of completing the deal for Argentinean attacker Emiliano Sala, according to reports emerging out of France.

21 Jan 2016 15:26:00
Yeh we were on the verge of signing the Danish kid from Ajax too, and that ain't happened yet either, we have been linked with so many players again this window the mind boggles, but the one constant is the lack of signings yet again.

21 Jan 2016 15:29:38
Believe it when I see it!
WW have been linked with Boilesen who seems to be holding out for a better deal. Why, because now that Sam Byram has gone to West Ham, Everton will go for Iorfa and Wolves will sell. Therefore need a replacement at a bargain price. The potential of Charlie Austin is a joke, wrong player, wrong position, probably wrong price and certainly wrong wages. I expect Iorfa and Bartth will go. a couple of journey men might come in, the rest of the season will be drab. with any luck a new buyer will be found and maybe next season will be a new dawn. I'm not holding my breathe though.
Great strategy, great result - not!

21 Jan 2016 16:19:22
I'm afraid that Morgan won't sell until Iorfa, Baath, EEL, Hause, Ikeme and Dicko have all been sold (Dicko next transfer window after he's come back to training) . At that point he won't need to worry about how much he can get for the club as he will have made his money back. He can then sell us for a moderate amount, having left us with the weakest squad in whatever league we are in by then.

21 Jan 2016 10:36:48
french press reporting intrest in argentina striker emilio salas could be making a move for 4 mill euros,

21 Jan 2016 13:47:23
More rubbish in how much more money are we going to waste.
Struggling because of mis management. Bull to say he had no money to spend. He's had more than most of the managers in this devision this season. It's been wasted by him and thelwell. Look what we bought in no players that can improve the team it's a disgrace can't believe people think jackett is doing a good job. The sooner him and that failed pro footballer thelwell are sacked the better.

21 Jan 2016 14:32:05
Couldnt agree more Xz.

21 Jan 2016 16:11:51
What moxey and morgan spending 4 million don't believe this rumour until them pair of clowns go I won't be spending my hard earned money and take my kids to any matches might take them to watch Sunday league instead.

21 Jan 2016 09:00:28
We need big changes at this club and fast, its Jan 21st and we've signed one player (a winger, where we have plenty) . we need serious reinforcements at the 2 vital ends of the pitch, at least 2 strikers and at least 2 defenders. The problem is, a lot of the players we could have or should have gone for have moved on. Perfect signing would have been a loan for Gary Hooper, now at Sheff Wed and looks like he'll sign permanently. Connor Washington another, more of a punt but if we'd have acted fast we could have signed him earlier in the window. I really question Moxey's negotiation skills, as over the years we've missed out on pretty much every single key signing and gone for 2nd 3rd or 4th choice. Key examples are Primary Target: Billy Sharp, Sign: Andy Keogh. Primary Target: Adam Lallana, Sign: Andrew Surman, Primary Target: Scott Dann, Sign: Roger Johnson
Its also rumored that we rejected the chance to sign Nathaniel Clyne when he was younger. Primary Target: Craig Gardner, Sign: Nenad Milijas, Primary Target: Callum Wilson, Sign: Leon Clarke The list goes on. I understand we cannot always sign the 1st name, BUT why are our 2nd and 3rd choices so far off the mark? I think the sooner Moxey is gone the better. I also think Jackett is slightly out of his depth but cannot judge properly due to the restrictions he's had to work under.

21 Jan 2016 10:58:34
We need a clear out top to bottom and the only way that will happen is with a new owner. If there isn't a new owner out there get use to the mediocracy were seein now for the foreseeable!

21 Jan 2016 11:20:01
Stu I keep saying it but Moxey did exactly the same at Stoke!
It was only when he left did they endup getting out of Div 1 and onwards and upwards - Fact.

21 Jan 2016 12:34:56
Can't wait till these muppets running our f. c. are replaced, Morgan as got to be tightest owner of our f. c. with the amount of money he as.
How on earth can you play championship football with 1 striker and he IS on loan.
If the club is not taken over and Morgan does not spend any money you watch the crowds drop next season because you can only stand so much and the 2 M's are takeing the Micky.

21 Jan 2016 14:51:50
It's been mentioned above and by myself and many others on these pages, Moxey is at the heart of every decision that affects the club and as it looks it's always poor decisions, poor after poor, its no coincidence that moxey leaves stoke and they go on an upward spiral as soon as he has vacated his office.
We as fans need to make it clear that the blame is being laid squarely at his door.
Apathy is strangling this once great club and moxey is happily sitting in the shadows knowing that most of the blame falls at kj and Morgan's feet, yes it's Morgan's toy and yes it's kj who picks and coaches the team but it's moxey who has the power at the club and as long as he has that power we won't go anywhere other than backwards.

21 Jan 2016 20:23:33
It's ironic all those lucrative Five year contracts given out to the big earners (Ohara, Johnson etc) a few years ago never landed Moxey his P45 amongst a lot of other poor decisions made in his tenure as Chief Exec? I'm sure in any other business he would be long gone.

What a shambles. It's time one of the M's made a statement of intent to the fans and not just a smoke screen to push the early bird numbers up. KJ has already been the front man for the disappointment of no signings with his "right player, right price" article.

21 jan 2016 22:36:16
trust me for the 1st time in ages fans will vote with their feet come early bird time when only 12-15000 turn up at best then the powers that be will see that u can't treat the fans in such an arrogant way such as like we are being now.

{Ed003's Note - get involved with football trusts if you have strong feelings over how your club is run yamyam.}
