This is a joke all of you who say you know first teamers and have inside info you wouldn't be on a rumour site I come on here to check what might happen but I honestly don't think we will sign anyone if we do maybe a striker I would personally like David cotterill from donny top of assists for league one and got a few goals as for all the rubbish stick to fm as I'm sick of crap on this site!

SL2 Wolf {Ed011's Note - Saunders has already said he won't be raiding Doncaster for any players so no Cotterill. Apparently when talking to Radio Sheffield on Saturday he said: "I will be shedding players rather than signing them. I would not like to take any players of Doncaster. I want to see them do well. The first thing I asked when I came off today was, how did they get on?"

only 2 forwards i'd go for in this league one is billy sharpe and the other charlie austin if we could get both of em in we would fly up the table or even 1 would do

Charlie Austin will go to the Premiership, probably in the next window.Burnley have done well to keep hold of him this long already..Wouldn't say no to Billy Sharp, although we probably would have done better by signing him four years ago when this rumour first arose in my opinion...

unfortunately like birmingham city we have not got a pot to drink tea in, like deano says he's got 29 pros to pick from, even though they are all rubbish he will have to dump these players out before he can get his own in, we are stuck with these money grabbers till some other plank buys them or their contracts run out, no players in until a plank out

I hope he don't get chance to bring his own in the players we have been linked with so far have been abysmal

I think we would give him a fairer go as you put it if we saw some change in the personnel on the pitch, I for one am sick to death of the same team being announced each week when they have been playing attrociously for mosy of the season, I don't think I need to spell it out who either do I !

Saunders comes in and has to put the team who looks the best on the training pitch obviously the 11 we seem to play the week are the ones who perform in training, if we stick to a manger for long enough they will see there not good enough in games but we havnt kept a manger post mcarthy for more than one transfer window when theve only just been appointed, i'm confidant solbakkan would of changed the team in the window but saunders has to reasses the team agin so he will only be able to make a real judgment by the summer

this site is getting spiteful I can't believe there's a core of fans who will not give deano a chance what do they expect after two games YES TWO ! stale was a smashing guy but had no idea how the champ works its fast and at times ugly he wouldn't alter his style to suit the zonal marking looked ridiculous we were a soft touch in this league you gain points ugly stale lost his job because he wouldn't see change was needed the reason mad mick does well in this league is that he sees what's needed we need clean sheets we need to roll our sleeves up and get on with it this also applies to us the twelth man stop moaning and try to see what deanos trying to do its called SUPPORT !

A while ago I recommended Jordan for manager, again I implore M&M to do it. Far more entertaining, great up front and solid behind and, dare I say it, more intelligent than the current management, certainly better with the media!!

Jordan is harry redknapps right hand man if he wanted to be a manager he would of gone back into by now since its been over 15 years since he's been a manager not including his spells as caretaker manager I very much doubt hed leave qpr

Having DS manage Wolves is like sticking a learner driver in a F1 racing car! He is so out of his depth it's unbelievable! It's becoming quite clear now why Curbishley turned us down last year! We are a laughing stock! Morgan get on the phone apologise and bring back Stale Solbakken! Because you'll be lucky to sell any Early Bird Tickets for next season! {Ed011's Note - I wouldn't call us F1... Maybe a top range Fiat Panda.

Hunt back. Good sub for Sako who still gets tired in the last 20. Hunt might not be the most talented player but e motivates the team when he plays. He's positive and has a ridiculous work rate, always creates a buzz that the other lads feed off. I think he can motivate a few goals out of the team. In the short run he could put wolves back on track. They always play better with him on. Not the solution for the long run but we know he can create a bit of magic. That beauty he scored to keep us up two seasons ago? He deserves a chance. Instead of looking to the young maybe try an get the most out of the old and experienced, hunt can handle this kind of pressure, he's been in the game long enough especially at a championship level. Opinions?

Hunt did start playing really well for us one stage, I agree, on his day he can be good. We just need SOMETHING from someone, maybe it's him?

Maybe I'm too optimistic but every player has let down so far (bar Sako) really all that's left to see is Razak Mouyokolo. But I think Hunt might be the key

Solbakken was given a relegated team and lost our 3 best players for 30 million quid and was given only around 10 million to replace them, only given 6 months and 1 window to sort out the problems that werte built up over 3 years....all the noises coming from DS point to major cost cutting...not his fault but this is the reality we face as fans now.

Anyone who has watched a bit of football knows we need a new left back asap nad that playing 2 defensive midfielders will get youa draw at best.

Truth is DS has been told to keep us up and not much more hence the lack of financial backing from the board...its going to be a long, hard and boring season

Long Hard season try 9or 10 Hard seasons, the Board are only interested in making Money for Morgan, fans at Mol are not considered at all. Saunders is here for one reason only and that is to CUT the wage bill and if he can do that and Keep us in this division the Board will be more than happy. P.J.

Well I see scotland has just left ipswich hope he don't end up at the mol.altho the final third has been poor at least we are not letting in goals at the moment we do need to build from the back and still need obvious changes in defence. I think we should start cassidy and play sako behind him.bring pesko and ohara in as for a signing definitely a left back and striker. jc

34 years old next month. Not delivered since his Swansea days, quite a few years ago. Would bring nothing to the squad and if any truth in the rumour fear for our future!

With our current tactics in mind surely Zigic is who we need. At 8ft tall he might stand up and win some headers off these long balls, (instead of falling over like Doyle) float Sako around him as he's the only one who shoots and we may score again this season.

Wouldn't be a bad addition but wasn't he on high wages at Brum?

Hes been told he can leave on a free along with king burke and redmond, I think there are some good additions to be made there, and on his wages we could cope with them if we removed crap players like stearman, jonnson and zubar

Must be better options than Zigic. Do need someone who wins ball in air as Sako gets quality crosses in box. Could do with getting midfielders in there when Sako in final quarter. Get ball in and get players attacking it. Saw West Ham do this at weekend and crosses from Jarvis were no where near the quality Sako provides. Loan approach for Vaz Te, Morrison, now Campbell has signed.

Jarvis crosses created lots of chances sako crosses havnt caused a clear chance in open play this season, this isn't just sako fault but we either need to teach sako to turn out or we need to get players into the box, ebanks blake is the only person ever in the box when the cross comes in and he's always 2 yards away from it

be glad when the season is over, and I hope we do stay up, hope we get a better manager, in the summer and have a good clean out with the top and bottom, morgan moxey, deano out, and the deadwood as well

I know a lot of you will not agree with my comments on Sako. But he is not as good as you think he is. He gets the ball then doesn't know what to do with it. Just sets off running with no object in mind.
He prob just looks good from a distance, especially as most of the team are dross.

The rest are just not good enough. Never were in the Prem & still not in the C'ship.
Never seen so many injured players, sign of lack of fitness mostly, which prob helps contribute to their useless abilities.

They should have been shipped out at the beginning of the season when we might have got a few quid for some of them, & Stale given the cash to rebuild a new team straight away.
As it was, the stalled start was a bad management decision, which not only cost Stale his job but is causing the current problems.
M&M made a poor boardroom decision in delaying the new manager the chance of a summer rebuild. He ended up with rush signings, not enough of them, and no time to gel them into a team.

DS is a great manager in the offering, just let him save what he can of this season & let him rebuild for next time.

This season has gone as far as we are concerned. Even "if" (big IF) we did make promotion how do you think we would survive next year? forget it & just hope things get better sooner, rather than later.

I agree that he is overrated, but we would need to make a decent mark up, at the moment I think he looks out of position, maybe in the number 10 place would be better

So what would you say are the main attributes of the rest off the squad, Sako at least provides some excitement.

2 games into Saunders reign and many of you have your mind made up he is not the right man.. Is this really the support we need at this club. Let's face it we were not good enough in the Premier and the Championship clubs in our absence have strengthened.. Add to that we lost 2-3 of our match winners and winning mentality is gone.. Confidence is shot (Foley for one) and the players are older and little in the way of youngsters have come through.. My only plea to Deano is Sako and Sigi up top with Ohara and Peszcho down the flanks.. Reason we need to get at the other teams giving them something to think about.. Wanderers till I die.. As for movement in the transfer market other than Jackson coming subject to Norwich finding a replacement.. Ritchie from Swindon is in talks

Good ideas but you have named 12. I think McAlinden is not there yet. It pays to be cautious with young players, its better to introduce them to a winning team.

We might be able to win with 12 though. Can see the logic!

Realised after I'd posted doh, technically though we don't own Peszko yet. So as a base the 11 we own plus Deano to choose the best 14 kids/pros out of the other 34 we have in squad (Cassidy, Hennessey, Boukari, Margeitter & Doumbia in my opinion leaves 9 for Deano to pick) and I'd transfer list, sell/release 20 of our current squad and add 3, 1x lb 1x cm & 1x cf, making the squad 28 players. Think 25 is a bit light considering our injury history. This may not happen till the summer and some of the 20 axed will be by default when contracts end.
