Watched us against Blackpool on the TV tonight. Glad of the 3 points but blimey, apart from the opening 3 mins and 10/15 mins in the 2nd half we were third best. If I was a BPool fan don't think I'd be able to sleep tonight. We couldn't keep or pass the ball for long periods. Ikeme earned his money tonight. {Ed003's Note - We pool fans don't have a problem sleeping we are used to games like that lol }
Unlucky ED003 the one on one with Ince and Ikeme I felt for sure Ince would score but for a brilliant save from Ikeme. Beside that Wolves have to keep the ball better than we did today part from a couple of nice passing interplay we didn't to do to well ball retention wise. {Ed003's Note - It wasn't the best of pitches to play keep ball,but to be honest I think we saw two mid table teams tonight,good following btw,very noisy, even if the language wasn't the nicest for my kids to listen to lol,but they were having fun]
Felt we improved when Davis came on - got more involved than doumbia. Grateful for 3 points and nice to be on the receiving end of a penalty decision for a change! {Ed003's Note - I thought Doumbia did ok but when he went off I thought Sako(?) got more involved attacking,maybe that was because B'pool were pressing more and leaving spaces(again!) I think it was a pen but should not have got that far because Taylor Fletcher was fouled in the build up,our keeper never made one save?? funny old game,but well done Wolves have a great xmas and all the best for 2013}
Could you imagine sako on one wing and ince on another, maybe we can merge clubs, we both play in similar colours
Up the wolvespool h
Hope to see us both near the top come end of season, hopefully meeting in the playoff final at wembley.
Thanks for comments Ed3 - Blackpool played well. We got lucky for once - it only happens when Jupiter aligns with mars and the end of the world is forecast! All the best for Christmas and the new year.
Quite what does Ikeme just punting the ball up the park achieve? What is the point in this constant method of giving the opposition the all straight back? I don't see the point of not playing the ball to feet and through the midfield as other teams do?
Frankly we're playing worse football than we were under McCarthy now
