Joel Campbell did not seem like a realistic option to me. Lots of people suggested it was possible but I think it was just hopeful, he's played champions league football for the last two years why would he come to us?

Borthwick-Jackson played for United last season because Luke Shaw had a broken leg whereas Campbell played for Arsenal quite regularly as Wenger rated his ability over a few senior players.

New to the site, and enjoy reading
all the banter that goes on, but let's just stand back and look at what's happening. Walter Zenga can obviously see potential in the team Jacket had, and has managed to bring out the best in each of them. It's also good to see that Zenga has a plan B should plan A not work, unlike Jacket whose theory was if plan A doesn't work stick to A. Let's remember that this is like a journey on an aeroplane, we've taxied off the runway and steadily climbing, there will be turbulence on the flight but we all know where the ideal destination will be. Let's just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Massively impressed with what Zenga has managed to get out of last year's team plus Tex and Bod. Yes we still need to strengthen but I'm glad he is giving everyone a go to fight for their place. Can anyone see Balotelli putting in the shift the lads did yesterday? Why doesn't anyone want him? Because he's trouble and takes up too much time and effort to get anything out of him.
Walter is going 24/ 7 to get everyone to buy into his way and they are all doing the hard yards to get there.
We can do better to spend on players who are going to commit to the team, no lone wolves thank you, the strength is in the pack.

I think all us fans would love some high profile signings but certain players we have been linked with are just ridiculous. Talisca 25mil and like has been reported would probably demand wages of 40-60k a week but seems like off to besiktas, Luisoà 2mil transfer fee and 60-100k a week wages. I wouldn't want balotelli in our team.
Would like Chris martin and maybe if we could get him joel campbell but until any of us see anyone holding a shirt when it's been officially confirmed it's just speculation. I know this is a rumour page but I saw someone say yesterday balotelli had landed in a private helicopter at patshull park hotel.
I used to work at this hotel and they have never had a heli pad, so unless someone is going to land a chopper on the 18th green I find that very doubtful.
