so guys from the up and coming kids and the players who are likely to stay any1 want to name there xi for next season (asuming doyle, johnson, henry, etc go)

I was impressed with the look of Aaron McCarey during the prematch warm up prior to the last home game, has anyonr seen him in match action. Is he good enough to start next season?

Shrewsbury away in preseason looked good and a few walsall fans said he looks decent

Mc Carey is a competent young keeper. I believe he will be in goal when the U21s play their final game at the Bucks Head Telford this Friday against Manchester United U21s. So if you fancy a proper look take this game in. It will be along time before Wolves v Manchester United at any level happens again. Barry

I've seen various highlight video from the youth team over the last few year and he does make some good saves, but is a little clumsy at time but non the less a very good young goalie who will only get better.

ED: Can you explain why the "agree / disagree" buttons have gone from the banters page, I for one found it interesting to see others views on others comments {Ed003's Note - they created grief,the powers that be wanted them removed.}

I agree.

Agree. siewolf

Disagree. and damn all who agree instead. ;) {Ed003's Note - final score 2-1.}

Disagree 2-2 sorry ed {Ed001's Note - as I look on it, if people want to disagree they can make a comment and explain why they disagree (or agree for that matter) on the thread. It was nice to have them, but people were just using them to be tits, rather than because they agreed or disagreed with the point made. Such as posts regarding Hillsborough/Munich/Ibrox disasters being swamped with disagrees, it involves a lot of work to just switch them off for particular posts, so that was out. If enough people really want them back, what we could do is put a check box next to your post that you check if you wish them to be there. So you have to deliberately choose to have them on your post, rather than them being there by default. Would that be a fair way to settle it for everyone?}

In response to Ed001 comment regards people being persons (my words) it is a shame that they have to spoil things for others especially as the banter was in my mind away of fellow supporters expressing views whilst accepting that as individuals we are not always correct in our own opinions.

If there is away in which they - the "agreement" dialogue, could be reinstated then brilliant and please reinstate it but if it is ceased to stop giving people the platform then so be it.

I think we all need to agree to disagree on this occasion -agreed?

Two articles in today's Times. Steve Morgan has a fortune of £510 million, up £100 million on last year. I guess we can dismiss the money worry rumours. Phil Clarke, CEO of Tesco (the store not the football club) 6800 stores and half a million employees, earns LESS than Moxey.
Out of interest, do we know if the amount quoted for Moxey is his salary or his total remuneration package? I did read somewhere that there was also a significant pension contribution on top of his salary.

I can't believe the way the club is going, personally I don't blame Morgon or moxey cause money is going into the club but Saunders had all January transfer window to buy someone buy nothing other then loans who haven't even played 45mins+ and why does he keep bringing Batth on late why not go more attacking, it's just pathetic!

Got to agree to bring batth and hammill on with so little time left was stupid and so negative agst charlton, playing to defensive when we can't defend with defensive players in midfield like ward his a recipy for disaster, why wasnt pesche or hammill on from the kick off to get the service in for doyle its not barcelona we are playing its charlton for gods sake. wolfy

Shocking from Deano

Need to be positive for these last 2 games and go for win, play attacking players who have got a goal in them if we can, only way now, deanos made a right mess of it with the huddersfield and the barnsley results when we lost both of them has turned out to be a disaster, nice guy has he his, don't think he his cut out to be manager of wolves with team selections and his interviews after matches, which to be perfectly honest are stupid comments most of the time, when you think how much we have paid for these so called footballers, and we only create a few chances in games agst very average teams, who pay average wages, his a recipy for disaster, sooner we sort out this f. c. and if it means selling the club, so be it, because we have achieved nothing under morgans leadership with all the money he has got, because he will never spend any of his money on players good enough to keep we in premier if we were to get there again, its time for him to change or go, all we fans want his a football team who can play football not these overpaid numpties, who are the worst bunch of players I have seen for a long time, its not rocket science mr morgan, play some football and you will fill your stadium, we turn up now considering how bad we are and we have not been entertained for a long time. wolfy

i think if we go down (a big possibility) then let's face it why would managers like owen coyle want to come to us, so if we get rejected by managers like him we should go for dean smith the walsall manager. He's not a big name but he has done well with walsall this season on a budget worse than ours (and that's saying something), he'll know league one and i'm not saying that we should keep him forever but in league one he sounds like a decent manager, my mates a walsall fan and he said that they have at times played good football this season. Just a thought.

WILKO

Rob Smith at Hednesford Town is doing a brilliant job on a limited budget and a very small squad. I'm really surprised a league club hasn't been knocking on his door, and the door of a couple of his players, one in particular!

Can anyone tell me why we continue to play ward lm yes he's doing okay but says he's playing through an injury? Why can't hunt go back lm and play hammil pezsko dicko siggy rm? Doesn't make sence and why does he keep bringing Danny bath on with 20 mins to go I've said each time that he's negative and makes us sit back and let them attack us and you all went mad saying it worked both home games but it didn't yesterday. Why couldn't we have brough ward off earlier for hammil and hunt for someone like dicko and be positive and go for a win or at least keep attacking

Poor management

Well mr tomato face you said if you weren't wanted you'd go, well I for one have had enough so can you please sod off :- (

21 Apr 2013 08:19:40
I'm afraid I've been working abroad for a while so have not been fully up to speed with what's going on. Can someone tell me exactly how many minutes Dicko has spent on the park since his arrival?

I'm wondering exactly what the point of getting him in was if he's not going to get a game? We can't score goals in enough numbers and he's scored several at this level this season, why not play him and take a gamble? Siggy to me doesn't look like he will do much for us from what I saw earlier in the season and Dicko is a bit of an unknown to the opposition. I for one would gamble for the last two games and change it.

Got to agree think deano has made hard work, thought he might know more, doesn't like to be positive and attack, likes to go defensive to much for my liking, giving to much respect to teams that are average, and I am afraid I for one will not pay that amount of money to watch that type of football, the 3 matches over 8 days was to much for those same 11 players, asked to much of them without changing them, 5 goals agst says it all not good enough in 3 games sorry deano playing with negative players who you think can defend and they can't will get you now where, my advise to you his play hunt on left mid. and play hammill or pescho on right mid from start. wolfy

I am sorry but all these posts about the future and building a team based on youth etc are making me sick.

Last season we were in the premier league, due to a poorly timed sacking of MM and the farcical appointment of TC we were relegated (possibly two seasons late) but Wolves were premier league.

Morgan needs to address this as soon as possible and sort the two people that have contributed the most to our continual lied

1) Moxey - sack him, bought poorly, allowed MM to get away with being rubbish, interferes with footballing side too much

2) Saunders - we have got worse under his tenure, no plan, no tactics - sack him

We should not let these two get away with what they are doing and have done by talking about a new team, new hope, you are making their excuses for them by suggesting this

They must both be laughing at you all thinking they have got away with it

Third tier football, third rate management.
