Saunders must go

My worry is that if results continue as they the last 7 games then we are doomed but that would only be the start of it.

I think that the majority of people recognise that what class we have in Sako, Siggy, Prezza and Dumbo where all attracted by Stale and his vision to return to the premier league and his promise on the style of play.

Likewise Hennessey, O'Hara would be converted by most championship clubs so we can expect a mass exodus of what quality we do have with the added problem of being a 3rd division club that is not attractive to any one with any potential unless you have a proven manager that can get teams up

Add this to the fact that the parachute money runs out next year and our income from gate receipts, sponsorship etc and we are a club struggling fr cash.

The only hope to avoid this combination of events is to replace Saunders as quick as possible and get a new manager who will do what Saunders has not - provide an immediate uplift and get a few quick wins, then we stand a chance.

In fairness to Saunders though he would be a good Director of Football as he does have Morgans ear and he does know the problems on the ground

Move Saunders out and get a proper manager in

Nigel Adkins

And tell the new manager he can't spend the money and has to work with the same dross. It won't work. GET MOXEY OUT.

well one good thing you lot have been asking to play the kids, they will next season because three parts of this team will be off

Bang on - we will get rid of the majority of the team; have the best and biggest stand in the league; have a proven division one manager; a proven division one goal scorer this is all part of morgans master plan - roll on the year 2020 when the premiership will once more welcome us

Who will be getting a season ticket for next season.
I know I will, because Wolves fc is like family and you should never give up on family. utw

Ermmmm no way,,, will pick and choose matches because we'll have loads of space now our great owner as built us a huge ground.
shame the team is S88t

You can choose your friends but you can't choose your family

You are so right but in this case the owner, CEO and some of the players don't give a dam about us supporters.

You are looking at it the wrong way. Some people struggle to pay for a season ticket and when they don't know what league we will be in next year they have good reason to say they aren't going to buy a season ticket.

Number 1, that's what Moxey is relying on. Loyalty. He knows he can dump on us from a great height and we will still come back for more. If he was a CEO in any other business he would have lost his customer base long ago, turnover would have dropped and the shareholders would have forced him out. He is very lucky to be in a job

£400+ should be buying me quality football in the bw stand. Could be watching Shrewsbury town for a lot less. Money is tight for most and watching this lot should be one of life's luxuries not expensive torture!

The biggest mistake was not getting rid of McCarthy when we stayed up the last day against Blackburn, imo that was our chance to get a manager in that could have made us into a established prem side. as it stands at the minute people are moaning about they want players out the squad Saunders is doing that I think only time will tell so let's all support dean and the team. we have needed a new strike force for the last 3-4 season's if we are to stay up we need to bring in 2 forwards asap or I think we will be relegated

Dont think you sack a manager having just kept you in the prem

In the summer before our first season in the Premiership I was at a lunch in Lloyds of London. There were a couple of guys from Chelsea there and they told me that it was a common belief that Mick was a great championship manager but could not cut it in the Premier League. Naturally I argued that he would be a success. In the first season (probably the weakest Premier League ever) he did OK. However, we went backwards in that 2nd season and deserved to go down. He should have gone then as the writing was on the wall and we didn't just go backwards again in the 3rd season but fell off the cliff. However Mick no doubt did his best and it was Moxey and Morgan who should have seen the signs on the wall. At the time I remember them saying that we were not a hiring and firing club? 4 managers in a year!

the team is so crap. m& m have put shame on the club should start to protest on the next game . the players have no pride for the shirt they wear.

I think our energy would be better spend making a positive noise, it might just help us to stay in this league. If we are relegated at the end of the season demonstrate as much as you want. But remember 200 people chanting outside the ground about MM started the spiralling downwards. Least if we sing our heads off we have done everything we can.

One positive about going down would be losing the moaning git who sits behind me every home game, he jumps on every mistake we make and spouts crap.

My son reckons we are down already, I hope not. I didn't want Stale sacked but knew once we lost to Luton what would happen. The mess we are in is down sadly to Mick McCarthy. I was a strong supporter of him but he lost his way badly and built a squad of highly paid average footballers. Henry's comments the other week stunned me ' The players are too good to go down. ' I honestly believe they think that, in their minds its someone else’s fault. There was an expression when I played which said you are only as good as a your last game, that sums up precisely the calibre of most of the wolves team. I do not why Ebanks Blake and Doyle were not moved on. I don't why Foley still gets his place and I don't why Preszco is not starting every game. To sack Saunders would be folly, but I think by Friday we need 2/3 loan signings and on Sunday Saunders needs to wield the axe and drop the likes of Henry Foley Ebanks Blake not from the team but the squad we have 4 points from 21 so why not give other players a chance.

Just in case I'm the moaning git the previous genius referred to, kindly note I'll be there again next season, no matter what league we're in. Looking forward to sitting behind you again.

Well buddy, I think you are right we should get rid of the players you have mentioned I for one like KH but not the KH I see today, I want to remember these players fondly as the ones who got us promoted and gave us some great performances. I don't want to remember them as the players who took us into league 1- I don't want to hate them.

Well said, spot on. but I would have to blame morgan and moxey as well. morgan is naieve on football matters, and moxey is dangerous to the future of this club and needs to be shipped out.

Spot on moxey is dangerous to this club I've heard he as made a mint out of the fletcher, jarvis and khitley transfers

I know this club is in a terrible state at the moment, but I believe that for the rest of the season, for the benefit of everyone, we need to get behind our team and manager 100%. Then, if need be, start the mass protests at the end of the season, once we're safe in this division.

Hertfordshire Wolf

{Ed011's Note - I have to degree but it's difficult to organise, I think the past two clubs to compare to see this is Blackburn and Wigan. In the seasons towards the end when Wigan were in a precarious position the fans got behind the team and they pushed up the table. Blackburn on the other hand turned their stadium - like we did - into a battlefield for their own players and they, like us were relegated.

I would like to agree however I believe that the Chairman, CEO, Manager and players should get behind the club themselves first.

The silence coming out of the club is a worry.

Lowest attendances since 2006/2007 season! EBW

Just been looking at the remaining fixtures and I reckon we will get 17 points for the rest of the season. I've actually only got us winning 4 games this season. Don't know if 17 points is enough to keep us up but that's my prediction.

We won't win any games with Clown Saunders and his merry men at the club.

If you can actually call Henry and co men that is because at the moment they are cowards who are to scared to battle on the pitch.

What games are they then that you think we will win?

Funnily enough I've actually got us beating Cardiff this weekend then Bristol City, Huddersfield and Burnley.

Told everyone to back S. S. but oh no sack him sack him came the reply, now look what we have a yes man with poor tactics and not much sense, make no mistake we WILL go down and it will be a very long time before we get back. Saunders is NOT the man to do it get rid now along with Morgan & Moxey. P. J.

Steve Morgan has not done anything wrong its not like he wants the club to be relegated and Jez Moxey has done well for the club by getting 24 million for 2 average players

SS tactics not poor I think they was terrible football but I don't think Saunders should of been appointed I wonder how many of you regret not want Bruce now hmmm

The 24 million should of been put back in club for players, plus parachute money and then they could have been serious promotion favs. instead of keeping these players we have had for a few years now and still keep under achieving

20 Feb 2013 09:06:42
i agree with the post this started after the albion match with morgan going in the dressing room slating the players off then sacking mick. not saying we would have stayed up if he was there till the end of the season, but don't think we would have come bottom. then they sack him and bring in clipboard (what a disaster that was). then hire a manager that no one had heard of. no experence of the championship, then after 20 odd games they sack him. then they hire saunders whose only cv reads relegation with doncaster out of the champioship. this just shows everybody that morgan and moxey are inept at there jobs. morgan do all us fans a favour and sell this great club NOW

Saunders is taking us down

Who would want to buy us

You need to get the story correct, it was after the Liverpool game he delivered the dressing room rant

At the very best we will only ever be a mid Championship team under Deano. Dreadful appointment. Personally, I don't think he has it in him to keep us up, and I have no confidence that he get us promoted.

20 Feb 2013 07:43:30
I accually have know idea where this win is coming from right team selection but I can't think for the life of me why you would switch to 451 in the 12th min was it to defend instead of going for another goal with our tails up and also left it to late to bring hammil on Ohara don't sound fit and Henry is a waste of space play Davis he don't get worried when he has the ball 20 yards from goal

Might as well play this team ready for league 1

Ikeme (if he stays)
Doherty
Batth
Gorkess
Reckord

Pezsco (if he want to stay)
Davis
Price
Forde

Cassidy
MacAlindon

I really doubt that Johnson sako doumbia and siggy would stay if we went down and Doyle Henry Ohara SEB ward de vreis foley can all do one

Why was edwards on right mid. when you have pezcho, hammill or hunt if fit, doesn't make sense, edwards is only good down middle were henry doumbao davies or ohara play, now you can only play 2 of them if going 4 4 2, now to be honest neither 1 of those is playing well can't score, no creativity amongst them except ohara when fit and edwards might get odd goal if he is not out injured all the time, we keep playing these same players all the time and they are getting us no where, time for change or should I say keep them if we go down as this will be there level, then move them on if we can get back up.

20 Feb 2013 03:49:44
I'm going to put a tenner on wolves not wiinning another game this season. Fancy my chances of a big win if I'm honest. Yeovil here we come!

Yeovil could go up!

20 Feb 2013 01:16:07
I did hate Kightley and Fletcher for leaving us. But now I see it different, they left because they saw what was coming and they didn't want it to kill their futures. We were lucky to of ever had them in the first place with such amateurs at the helm. In all seriousness what is our next step as fans? surely we can't let this go on? Do we try and force Morgan out?

I for 1 have to agree that the 2 ms are running this f. c. down and think it his time for them to move on, they have tried but failed badly in there attempt to have ago at running a f. c. morgan I think you should stick to building houses, surely your time at our f. c. or your f. c. will look out of place in the museum you have opened with your time spent here. it will look stupid in div. 1 with new accademy and new stand with nobody in it

No time for players like sicknote kightley, deserved to give wolves another season after how they looked after him but didnt

19 feb 2013 23:55:40
i don't care what anyone says, all this stems back from a knee jerk reaction from a thrashing by the albion way back when.

the outcome of which was to sack the best manager we've had for as long as i've supported the club when we were in the premier league and not in the relegation places.

all this garbage about mick's dross, solbakken and now saunders is just irrelevant, we had the best manager at our level of investment, then they sacked him.

mm could manage our club on a shoestring budget, frankly that's all it'll ever be, since he left it's been free fall. hang your heads in shame you doubters, had he have stayed we might be playing chelsea at the weekend.

as for the current situation? we can't score goals and there's no vision in the midfield.

i've been saying it all season. can i have a job?

Stale said this would happen whoeverthey bought in

Half of this is Mcccarthys fault for bringing these players in in the first place. Yes he was the best thing to happen to Wolves for a long time but he was also one of the worse things too.

The same players that won the Championship and survived in the Premier League? I don't think that's the issue.

Pay peanuts, get monkeys. End of.

At our level of investment you are correct mcarthy was the best, but we was also told that moxey said we could be top 6 in premiership. so all we wolves fans thought that morgan was going to invest a lot of money, so we expected the best now we have nothing, same players doing nothing week in and week out just a nice stadium might as well use the ground to show live bands next year because its the only way the 2 ms will make any money, because they have not got a clue how to run a f. c. got to be the worst owner on how to run a f. c. do you agree wolves fans or do you now any other owner who his worser. I for 1 cannot think of 1 put that in your museum morgan

19 Feb 2013 23:48:28
Well Paul Tamworth andco I warned you all this would happen. Regardless of what you think we should of stuck with Stale I think if we had we'd be mid table now. He actually had targets lined up and was going to clear out Henry and co. So give yourselves a pat on the back.

R TRUTH.

Stale wouldn't have been able to bring players in in January, he said in an interview shortly before his sacking the goalposts had been moved. morgan sacked McCarthy and Morgan appointed Connor solbakken and Saunders, Morgan has been led by incompetent managers and an incompetent CEO, he has admitted to having limited knowledge on football and running a football club. We need a director of football and can only think moxey is blocking this appointment. Our club is going down get used to the idea, and contacts will be ripped up in the summer, if they had a relegation clause in their contract for relegation from the premiership non will have the same clause for another relegation. moxey won't pay these wages in league one. the realist.
