What about Duckens, as a striker
Why is he not mentioned.

01 Sep 2017 22:58:23
Good call, I think Oliver twist was my favourite.

01 Sep 2017 23:11:55
I prefer the tale of two cities.

02 Sep 2017 00:32:24
Belfast anyone out on loan could not return until the next window at the earliest. The regs do not allow for players to return to their club at first team level.

02 Sep 2017 09:52:05
I've noted the comments by Jeff Shi. However, I've also noted them in the past twelve months. Hmm!

Up the wolves βš½οΈπŸ˜‰πŸ‘.

02 Sep 2017 09:54:55
That is to say he can be somewhat contradictory? Can he not? Great move to bring in Nuno and his team though!

βš½οΈπŸ˜‰πŸ‘.

02 Sep 2017 14:06:20
You lot don't deserve fosun
You just bitch at first opportunity
What if they think we don't need this hassle and don't appreciate what we trying to achieve then were will we be back to the chuckle brothers running our great club.

02 Sep 2017 15:54:34
Who watched the England game last night? I was so enthralled by it, I switched over and watched Doc Martin. Much more entertaining.

02 Sep 2017 22:02:59
If Duckens is knocking them in for Coventry then he'll be in the first team in no time and we'll probably call him Ducko but equally we will never see him in a Wolves shirt again remember we have some decent u23 players like Wilson and Ennis and there is Austin Samuels only 16 who scored in pre season these players could be stars our they could be Cassidy and McAlinden.

01 Sep 2017 18:45:05
Hearing Claudio Pizarro, would like one last season at the top and an ambition to play in England. Fantastic experience and still scoring goals. 38 now, but hey, look at Peter Crouch! Wolves should surely try to sign him before another team snaffles him. What do you think?

01 Sep 2017 20:01:23
Feed the Duck Feed the Duck Feed the Duck
And he will score.

01 Sep 2017 20:12:29
Ok will take the family to west park tomorrow.

01 Sep 2017 16:40:27
Would it be worth recalling Duckens Nazon? Seems to be doing well at Coventry.

01 Sep 2017 20:10:54
So well he hasn't scored in the league yet! Leave him there and let him gain some experience.

01 Sep 2017 16:22:45
Giuseppe Rossi is available on a free? He may be able to do a job in that position.

01 Sep 2017 16:59:19
His out with big injury.

01 Sep 2017 16:21:59
Massive opportunity missed not signing a top striker don't understand why everything Is left to the last minute which always ends in disappointment for wolves. Fosun and nuno have ensured we will be safe in this division for this season but promotion Is certainly off the agenda for this season, get ready for another season of mid table mediocrity.

01 Sep 2017 17:40:19
No way mate. we will be in top 3 by jan then purchases will be vital. forever wolves.

01 Sep 2017 15:30:16
Out of darkness. Make that 693.5 million profit for Fosun now with the Dicko money.

01 Sep 2017 16:23:48
Three and a half Neymars.

01 Sep 2017 15:09:13
The Jan transfer window can't come soon enough 🀣.

01 Sep 2017 14:54:39
We have some brilliant under 23 strikers
Jota was a striker before pushed out wide
Cav is a animal and Costa back soon
Pedro and Rodriguez for under 23 are absolute better than most of the leagues main strike force . Zyro maybe but we have many options.

01 Sep 2017 14:37:33
Cheick Diabate, free agent and rather large, maybe a bit slow and deliberate but worth a shout short term.

01 Sep 2017 12:52:44
What about Cheick DiabatΓ©? He's a free agent. PLayed in France and Turkey scored 94 in 215 appearances.

01 Sep 2017 12:49:27
TOTALLY uninspiring transfer window caused by really bad planning.
Edwards a much better player than cast off
N'Diaye. I bet Nouah is killing himself laughing he has got himself the best deal.
The Jordan Graham deal will also come back to haunt us, I think mid table best.

01 Sep 2017 15:04:45
Don't be so negative Neves, Boly, Jota great signings it's all great. UTW.

01 Sep 2017 15:42:13
Why all the negativity from some posters, why don't you all go and support burton albion where moxey is, cause you all seem to be knocking Fosun but you all forget about the dark days on transfer deadline day under the 2 m's.
Yes we're all disappointed at not recruiting a striker but we have enough attacking forward thinking players at the club who will contribute goals.
As for dicko who you say will be laughing, the only people laughing are Wolves, Β£3.5million for a forward with a poor goal scoring record since his injury behave.
I for one have complete faith in Nuno and Fosun, if we can be in the top 6 come January you will see Fosun splash the cash.
Please no more negative posts, what's done is done, trust in Fosun or vote for the 2 m's to crawl back, Your Choice ladies and Gents.

GodBless Wolves, GodBless Fosun. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™.

01 Sep 2017 15:43:41
Really mate come on if Bonatini continues at a ratio of just 2 goals in 5 games he'll end up on about 18 goals. If Cav Costa Jota all get around 8 to 10 each your talking about 40 to 50 goals between them 4. Then you've got the rest of them chipping in with another say 25 to 35 goals then you've got anything between 65 to 85 goals and if the defence can continue to keep clean sheets at a ratio of 3 out 5 games then we'll be champions by March keep the faith boys. IN NUNO WE TRUST.

01 Sep 2017 12:37:45
Im not to disheartened about not getting a striker in as I think the system we play is more important than any player. As long as our front three who play find the net on a regular basis we will be fine as I can't see us shipping many goals in throughout the season.
For me the most positive news the last few days was that fosun as a company made Β£690 million profit over their half yearly results.
Were going up sooner rather than later and we will buy who we want.

01 Sep 2017 14:35:14
I'm glad your not disheartened! I am though! Nuno has done a great job so far, all we needed were a couple of quality strikers and the seasons jigsaw would have been almost complete? Hmmm πŸ˜‰πŸ‘βš½οΈ.

01 Sep 2017 12:34:04
The bookies win, then, as no one bet on us to not bring in a striker.
Has Joe Mason got a re-call option?

01 Sep 2017 14:55:09
With the regulations as they stand no player can be recalled outside of the window.

01 Sep 2017 11:47:38
I want to hear what Nuno has to say. I really respect the man and he can't be happy about the situation.

01 Sep 2017 10:55:38
Karl Henry is available unattached.

01 Sep 2017 12:28:28
Right let's sell Costa and bring back Karl.

01 Sep 2017 12:28:56
Let's hope he remains unattached. To snap him up would be going sideways, no I'm wrong - backwards.

01 Sep 2017 10:48:18
We was playing zyro striker befor he got injured and I recon Leo will do the job by bringing in our wide players plus bright could get a chance up top again once costa is back, costa was our top scorer last season and he didn't play striker it's about how the team plays to create goals not just a individual, we could sign free agent there's options out there or we can wait till Jan where there might be more options if our targets not been playing as much as they would want to or if we playing well we might attract more attention so players might actually want to come let's just get behind the team we have goals in the team
wolves aye we.

01 Sep 2017 12:36:58
Last season we didn't use strikers properly they mostly held the ball up for Costa and Edwards to put away been like that since Sako and Afobe left but now we play with wing backs and two CMs who don't much attack the front three are expected to score most of the goals so someone has to be in the middle of that Bonatini might improve but I would like to see Cav there with Jota and Costa although I think Bright Jota Bonatini will still be Nuno's choices.

01 Sep 2017 10:37:28
Anyone else wondering which strikers are still unattached? I found transfermarkt site which lists them all.

How about Cheick Diabate? Or Ricky Lambert, Chamakh?

01 Sep 2017 10:30:00
I can understand 'not' buying a striker, if no one suitable is available or the prices are over inflated, but for the life of me I cannot understand why we would sell our only striker with championship experience and our most prolific goal scoring midfielder, without having replacements signed up.

01 Sep 2017 11:06:26
We were desperate for a striker as we went after Loic Remy and Chris Martin after the PSV transfer collapsed.

01 Sep 2017 12:03:44
What a shambolic end to the transfer window, why does everyone leave it so late.

01 Sep 2017 09:57:18
Heard a rumour that the board have given away the realistic chance of promotion that we had.

01 Sep 2017 09:16:58
I work with a Sunderland fan and iv just told him who we signed
He hasn't stopped laughing yet.

01 Sep 2017 09:45:45
I have not stopped laughing at relegated Sunderland yet.

01 Sep 2017 08:48:00
Ok guys we are where we are. I am pretty disappointed that no striker is in and I commented on Monday what if deals fell through at the last minute out of our control and yes psv have screwed us over. But we had all summer to sort it. Overall it has been an excellent window with quality players in and most of the dross gone but this could cost us big time. However I did post at the beginning of August wondering if we were going the way of playing without an out and out striker like Spain, Germany and Liverpool have done as our front line all have 10-15 goals each in them (obviously dicko and graham have gone), so does it matter who scores let's just have faith in them and get behind the boys. This could easily still be our time and we can add in January. As for being a joke fan I have had a season ticket for 29 years and an away one for a chunk of that. I was just voicing my opinion last night as do all of us. COYW.

01 Sep 2017 09:33:58
Well said southbanker a true gent. I think texts or posts can be easily misunderstood and taken in ways where the sender isn't getting across what he/ she wants. at the end of the day difference on opinons is unconsequential cus everyone who follows the wolves wants desperatly the same thing success ava bosting wknd the lot of ya πŸ‘.

01 Sep 2017 08:47:58
Stu692 someone who gets me regarding dicko 3.5 mill we got a steal.1 striker is imo better than 3 strikers where 2 of the 3 strikers couldn't hit a barn door in majority of games they played. the money the club have made and saved from wasted wages (bod and dicko didn't do what they were paid to do) is a positive which 4me outways by a long shot the negative of not landing a striker (s) in transfer window.

01 Sep 2017 07:33:03
Nuno will no doubt be disappointed at not bringing a striker in, but will have the lads believing in themselves to do well. We have got enough fire power and quality through the team to score goals. We have to get used to a new (for us fans) way of playing the game.
Keep The Faith and trust Nuno.

01 Sep 2017 08:49:55
Hello all hav'nt posted for a while but been keeping tabs. Gee PT sorry to hear your sad news my thoughts and prayers go to you. Yesterday was such an anti climax, can't figure out what was happening. 15m offered for Afobe in afternoon but can't get ANYONE by 11. I still have the confidence in nuno and fosun but they want a striker sof not purely expecting to rely on what we've got. Who's a free agent at the moment of any interest?

01 Sep 2017 07:18:03
I cannot believe the negativity around the end of the transfer window. Yes frustrating we didn't get a striker but the end of the world I don't think so. We have enough players in around the striking role to interchange in the foot print in the style of Liverpool for instance. It just could be a good thing. As for letting Dicko go, do me a favour he hasn't been good enough and will not be good enough to play in this team . Along with graham Edwards etc etc . Nice lads not good enough if and I say if we want to get and stay in the premier league. I said at the end of last season we needed a complete clear out of players and staff and boy I got my wish. Not in my wildest dreams could I believe in one window we could achieve this. For me it's been a brilliant window overall . We have far more quality now then we could have hoped for and given some time we can build a team to be proud of . Don't listen to the idiots from the local rag, see what's in front of you. Trust in I believe a manager we haven't seen the like off for many a year and we might just achieve what we desire. COYW.

01 Sep 2017 08:23:19
Well said Stu. Some common sense and reality. Complete change of players style and culture, the dinosaurs day has gone.

01 Sep 2017 08:31:40
Well said stu πŸ‘πŸ‘ πŸ™πŸ™.

01 Sep 2017 08:47:20
Stu u can sugar coat it as much as u like, Nuno wanted a striker hence the PSV lad havin a medical and us payin around 10 mil. As I said before the club is doing superbly on and off the pitch and a feel good factor is back, but leavin it so late to fill the most important part of the team was a balls up. Hopefully we bring in a free agent of quality πŸ‘.

01 Sep 2017 09:10:44
Well said stu, the negativity on here is ridiculous. Keep the faith.

01 Sep 2017 06:41:10
Couple of free agents we could go for. Guiseppe Rossi, David Ngog, Jose antonio reyes, leon best, dexter blackstock.

01 Sep 2017 07:31:58
I would go all out to get Rossi. Yes, he's had some injuries in his time but he was once regarded as one of the world's top strikers, he's still only 30 and could do great job in championship.

01 Sep 2017 06:35:59
I don't want to moan as things have been going so well on and off the field at Wolves, but someone needs their arse kickin for not getting a striker. Just when the club was getting fans back on side and building momentum! massive schoolboy error. I can't see Nuno bein happy over this as he wanted strikers, just hope he doesn't walk away? What does Thellwell get paid to do?

01 Sep 2017 07:15:57
Agree PT. Some serious miscalculations made which weakens the team options through the next phase of the season. Not so sure we should lump the blame on Thelwell as it seems that Mendes pulls the strings these days.
But still a strong squad who have the potential to keep the results positive just hoping that Bonatini doesn't pick up an injury.

01 Sep 2017 09:35:53
Totally agree PT! An arse kicking is the mildest retribution that's needs dishing out!

What a mess up! βš½οΈπŸ˜‰πŸ‘

Love Nuno though, he's doing a great job. πŸ‘.

01 Sep 2017 05:28:53
Problem at everyclub there fans who moan and groan at everything and think they have better knowledge than everyone else the owners the manager the true normal fans. yeah its dissapointing we didn't sign a striker but at least we got rid of strikers who didn't score enough goals for us. young lad wilson stopped from going to port vale. he might come of age better to beleive than moan fwaw.

01 Sep 2017 06:39:45
Agreed, I can't believe all the negative crap on here! O. K. the lack of experience striking depth may not help but we have enough talent and with the strikers we do have available, Bonatini, Cavaliero, Zyro, Wilson and Enobakahare we should be able to last until January. Indeed it may give those returning and the youngsters coming through the incentive to make a name for themselves.

01 Sep 2017 01:22:23
Was that it, all the hype, expecting fireworks and all we got was a damp squid. With all the expectation I can understand the dissapointment of many fans, but we are forever Wolves, not spoiled children throwing a tantrum as if we didn't get all the presents we demanded for Christmas.

We really did need a prolific striker, even two but it was not to be. Our team still has great potential, compare it to 3 months ago.

Neves, Boly, Jota, Miranda, Bennet, Bonatini all much better than what we had. We've also cleared most of the deadwood. I'd say Fosun, Mendes and Santo have done us proud.

If we have done enough (without a striker signing today) for automatic promotion remains to be seen. My biggest gripe was the fact that we sold strikers without a replacement lined up. I hope this is a lesson learned for the future and whoever was responsible should apologise to all fans at the soonest opportunity.

31 Aug 2017 23:57:31
Only plus side out of the lake of the forward required is it gives all the joke fans on here a voice to moan and groan, shows people in there true colours even though we have signed around 10+ players since last year, true fans keep the faith and we know who we are, disappointed but loyal!

01 Sep 2017 07:39:17
Joke fans? just because of a different opinion to you wtf, some major mistakes have been made at the end of this window by high ranking people at our club and left us short at the sharp end of the pitch and also strengthened a few of our direct rivals which I don't get at all. No matter which way you dress this up there will be serious words at molineux this morning. Pass Nuno that free agent list!

31 Aug 2017 23:38:45
The only reasonable explanation for the lack of striker I can think of is that PSV have really done the dirty on us here. Verbally agreed so we let dicko go and then they start to play up.

31 Aug 2017 23:37:49
At last it over going to be a lot less *issing in the wind posts i"m going to retire tonight happy cus i'm a fan and believe in nuno and fosun still this season and next to reach target fosun set. up the wolves.
