OK, what's happened? Keep looking at the table and we are not there. Not in the bottom four or even the bottom half! Have we gone down again already, I'll check league two, what? Second, don't be silly

Haha it does feel different

WILKO

Rosenburg released by tesco's, could be worth a punt as a free transfer?

No way, wages to high and no better than what we have to me, I'm happy with our strikers just worried incase of injuries/suspension, but the loan market opens soon

WILKO

Just seen henry camara scored 4 a greek team panaitolikos, he's 36 now, those were days my friend

36 and still not African footballer of the year.

It's starting to become Kenny's team, only 2 players that weren't brought in by jackett. (Not counting price, McCarey or Baath) as they didn't really feature last season. And the team is finally looking good every game. The other 2 teams dropped points aswell, it's a great weekend

Yes just Stears and Sako left. Not the two you would have expected as at the end of the season we thought Sako was too good and Stears not good enough. But doesn't it just show how different life is under Kenny than Deano.

This time last year we were shipping players out like Guadiora (sp) and even Stears.

Great result for West Ham and others today, let's hope that Wolves supporter Big Sam can help in sending Sandwell Town down, that would keep the in reds quite for sometime.

01 Feb 2014 18:48:17
Who cares, really. Different club, different competition, different challenges. Our interest should be to see our team winning against clubs of our size again, which means playing the likes of Leeds, Leicester, Brum and Forest in the Championship.

Sandwell ain't half as big as us. we want them to go down! let's have them next season in the champo and teach them a lesson

Who is we? Wishing another team to fail is a loser's mentality. A winner would say 'if they can do it then so can we'.

02 Feb 2014 20:36:14
Yes and we are winning so let's enjoy it and forget about what's going on down the road.

No my friend, a losers mentality is when you wish your biggest rivals all the best! If after a derby day they beat us, are you telling me you would be thinking never mind better luck next time? Because I think you might be the only one. And why would a winner say 'if they can do it then so can we'? That is what an underdog would say before they are facing a winner. And we don't want to be like them up the road. If there was a team I could choose to be relegated it would be them all day.

03 Feb 2014 21:02:11
This thread is probably going nowhere but as there's nothing else to discuss, here goes.

A winning mentality is concentrating on your own performance and believing in yourselves whether you are underdogs or not. It certainly isn't anything to do with bothering about results that don't affect us. If by chance we play them next season in the Chapmionship, we will be the underdogs, won't we? And we'll want to beat them like we want to beat every team. And if both of us are fighting for promotion (or indeed to avoid relegation) then fair enough, we'll want them to lose to other teams too.

I honestly disagree. Fight fire with fire, do you think they look down at us and think what a shame? I doubt they do. Every albion fan I know is mocking and laughing at us. So I say screw them, there the rivals from down the road. As a Wolves fan its always been instilled in me to HATE them. Not to show them respect or to wish them well. We are one of the most unfavoured clubs in the country and we are going around respecting our local rivals. We should live up to our reputation and not show any respect to anyone who doesn't respect us. Everyone seems to hate Chelsea and Manchester United these days. But look at them they don't ask for respect by sucking up to their rivals. They command respect by beating them and being better than them. Judging by some of the comments that's something we don't do any more. Maybe the relegations have turned some of us soft? I don't know, but what I do know is that I won't be saying best of luck to any albion fan.

Clearly there are two types of Wolves fan. Those that keep a zealous watch on what happens down the A41 and those that don't. If Albion had been relegated twice and not us I presume Wolves fans like you would be mocking the disenchanted baggies.

As you can guess from my sig I now live in Scotland, and I get the same nonsense with the national teams. All I think when I encounter these types is "you are pathetic". But I guess it depends what you want out of your football enjoyment.

Over and out.

Its called supporting your team! I was born in wolves and will most likely die in wolves. Being born in wolves makes me an England fan too. But international football is not as intense as domestic football (to me anyway). But if I see Germany, Argentina and to some degree Scotland playing I will want them to lose. Just like I want them down the road and the Birmingham clubs to lose. If that makes me pathetic to you then so what. I'm not going to get all but hurt about it. When I step into the Molineux I'm going to war, I'm standing in the south bank giving every ounce of support I have to my beloved Wolves. Just like the people standing around me. And when we all sing as one, that indescribable feeling kicks in. As you mentioned you live in Scotland. So I don't imagine you get to see us play very often. Therefore you may have forgotten that feeling. Or maybe it was never there in the first place?. If that is the case I can any feel sorry for you. And those are the reasons I can't bring myself to ever wish any of our rivals well. So yes your presumption is correct, I would be mocking them.

A very interesting debate between McWulf and an unknown party. Not wishing to add fuel to the fire but there are several types of Wolves fans and generally their attitude and outlook depends on where they are seated within the ground. I think you all know where I'm coming from here.

Nuff said ;-)

Unknown poster is me TDW. Keep forgetting to sign in. i'm a south bank loyalist.

Well this was defo our day, another win, 4 in a row. O's and Brentford dropped points and I think wiil/are starting to get found out. we have now got Stevenage and Notts Co next two. great chance to bully the lg before Brentford away.COYW!

01 Feb 2014 18:49:56
I think so too. The O's had a great start and the Bees a great middle season. Let's have a great end for the Wolves.

01 Feb 2014 13:33:47
Watching QPR v Burnley. Doyle scores the first for QPR and Kightly just crosses for Vokes to score for Burnley. We've just signed Clarke back?

Doyle scored?

01 Feb 2014 12:21:58
Wolves seem to have had around 15 players with a dip in form last season. No smoke without fire, the common denominator is the club itself. I hope we have now eradicated the dip-in-form virus.

01 Feb 2014 09:35:59
We may have got Doyle off wage list but he'll be back end of season. Qpr aain't going to buy him if they get promoted so technically we still have his wages to pay when he back.

{Ed039's Note - Its a chance to put himself in the shop window at Championship level though, but I believe he will need to drop his wage demands for future deals)

Just got his debut goal for QPR - unbelievable

01 Feb 2014 18:52:18
Insanity is doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results. Einstein.

So, no, not unbelievable because we have seen it do many times before how players improve the second they hand back their Wolves shirt.

01 Feb 2014 09:35:01
Looking forward to the game today - bring on the new front line.

01 Feb 2014 01:37:43
Will you deluded lot stop believing you're a big club, Look at the division your in. You might be really lucky & get promoted this season, but the Championship is your level. Look at the signings you made (no-bodies), look at the comments "Great Jan window for us". REALLY? get a grip & accept your no longer the Wolves of old, nor will you ever be again.

JollyGreenGiant

I like how you fail to mention who you support

WILKO

It's just a shame the Championship isn't your level. Going down.

Dorch Wolves.

Why do mods allow such rubbish to be posted on here? Whoever they support they have a real obsession with us :-)

{Ed039's Note - Everybody is entitled to an opinion)

I love it when I see an person contradict themselves. So we are deluded and should accept where we are yet at the same time we are congratulating ourselves on a great transfer window.
Only a second class iperson can come up with that one. Probably can't even see his own contradiction.
Question.I have one big green ball in one hand and a big green ball in the other what am I holding. a very sad Jollygreengiant.

The OP seems to gave insecurity issues. Maybe in a state if denial, avoidance and possible paranoia. I suugest the OP confronts his or her fears and go and watch Wolves play for a few matches. Failing that I suggest therapy.

Okay jolly green giant, are you a jealous w.b.a. fan and disguise

Another Albion fan obsecend with wolves worry about your own club mate

Ed039's Note - Everybody is entitled to an opinion)

Yes but that's just your opinion Ed!
Can you please accept a smiley face to go with this.

{Ed001's Note - I will have to have words with Ed039, expressing his opinion! Whatever next?!?}
