Most comments on here reflect disappointment in our transfer dealings so far...So IF we were to sign Ridgewell and say Hitzelberger WERE to sign - how would people feel then??
Bham have said that Carr and Ridgewell will not be moving this window and that they have had no offers from WBA...is this true or just an attempt to increase the price of the players?

roger johnson only outfield player signed, otherwise same as last season. even Mr Magoo can see we need more quality or its the drop

He said otherwise same as last season........O'Hara played the latter part of last season so yes Johnson is the only new out field player we have purchased for this season

He was a spurs player technically so technically we signed 2 outfield players
Still played for wolves last season ,when we just about managed to escape relegation.
dunno about you but this season should be looking to finish mid table, not fighting relegation
He wasnt fully contracted to us though
n i hope so i deffo think theres something in the pipeline theres gota be evan if it was just a loan deal or 2

Wolves to sign Scott Dann & Joey Barton both on 40k a week contracts by the end of the week this could spell the end for Karl Henry, Andy Keogh, Sam Vokes & Stefan Maerhoffer as there exits will be used to pay the wages of the two new recruits

Birmingham City manager Chris Hughton has refuted speculation that captain Stephen Carr could leave the club this summer.
The veteran defender has been linked with a move to the likes of Wolves, Stoke and Queens Park Rangers during the close season following Blues' relegation.
However, ex-Newcastle man Hughton insists the 34-year-old stopper will not be leaving St Andrews this summer.
"There's speculation about lots of players, but as for him, absolutely not, he's the club captain," he told the Express & Star.

didnt take long for the barton rumours to start did it? he aint gunner come to us, niether is scott dann. we wil prob sign 1 more player on loan cuz we am tite n the board will prob b happy wiv us finishing 17th again

Barton was linked with Man Utd at the start of the year. Of all the clubs that finished above us last year that would also like to sign him I just can't see him coming to us.
Scott Dann will also not join, as much as I wish he would, when again bigger clubs want him.
Ridgewell is a possibility as is Carr both of which would certainly not make the squad any worse would they really, even if people don't rate them highly. We don't have a 2nd natural right back and if Kightly can't get his fitness up we might have to put up with Foley playing that horrible right midfield role that he did last year

I so wish the Dann and Barton thing was true - for me that would be a definite top half finish

Don 't lose sleep over these two. Neither will be playing for Wolves next season. Shame they are both quality and would walk straight into our first 11.

I can only hope that this is cover for Foley with Zubar being used primerily as a CD this season.
Another thing is Carr signed a one year extension deal as soon as the Blues were relegated so why fork out for a 35 year old ? bearing in mind two seasons ago he was club less.I think it is tripe my self.
