people are only saying jackett has got the job because he is the only one been interviewed at the mo. don't bet on him my insider says that chris powell has the right credentials young, hungry, and what a track record over the last two seasons and plays football how every wolves fan wants us to play on the floor swansea style.

I don't mind if its jackett, Powell or mcclaren that gets the job. It's a new start that will need to be given time no matter who is coaching.

Maybe as fans we need to take a look at ourselves too?

I await the comments.

I think Gareth Southgate worth an interview?? With an experienced no2 or dof could b good siewolf

We already have a DOF. His name is Kevin Thelwell and he seems to be doing his job fairly well so far

Andy he's title isn't dof but anyways I didn't realise that if he nw is that means he's gone from head of youth teams development to above first team manager on dailly basis he must b bloody laughin lol cheers anyway siewolf

Southgate isn't going to manage a L1 side, but I hope I'm wrong.

Thelwell is now head of recruitment. Essentially a DoF with a different name. I'm not going to complain if it stops Moxey making stupid football based decisions

Can anyone in the know tell me how Ibrahim Keita is getting along or if we still even have him? Just I was once told he was a very promising young striker and if he's still available why not give him a go in league 1?

Still with wolves. played againest arsenal april 13, look for his name on google

Cant belive no 1 as posted about the insult of 35 pound rebate on our season tickets can't recall a post anyway?? Wats every1 think

Try reading through the posts!. and if you're insulted by the club giving you money back, think about those that may lose their job at the club where the £260000 spent on refunds could've paid some of their wages!

i can't understand were all saying have a clear out then when the club does its best to get shut we've fans who are saying now' its sacrilege until the new manager is in place we want them out asap and they know who they are feel sorry for hunty he was a trier to the end and should be offered a new contract

Hunty had his house on the market before the season finished so he was off anyway

Probably put it on the market after some persons booed him when he came on as sub

Hunts wages would of been to much, that's why he had to go has some other club will meet his wages. wolfy

Yes, presumably his surge of form at the end of the season was him putting himself in the shop window. Which is fine. I just wish some others would also have felt the need to perform like that, whether they were intending to stay or go.

We might not have rated Hunty last year but he should be good enough for Championship football as indeed should all the team. Hunty has shown us he can still cut it at that level.

i am puzzled? if we don't have a manager/coach? then who has said we won't be offering a contract to hunt berra and seb?
do we really need a manager/coach then if decisions like this can be made without one in place?

Im also puzzled, who his making these decisions without a coach or manager, whatever you want to call it, does anyone now who his responsible for these decisions. wolfy

I suppose their wage demands are beyond what M&M deem appropriate for L1 football. If they are prepared to take a drop in wages, a new manager could in theory re-sign them. Just now, though, we don't need to pay them.

The third Saturday in May is when clubs have to disclose their retained list. If we were to have put them on the retained list then they would have had contracts for next season. As it stands we have said that their contracts will not be renewed in their current condition. However we could still re-sign them on a different contract if they agree to different terms.
These players could have done a job for us but not at their current wage levels.
manager or no manager this does make sense!

Bradford next season!

We will feel at home then

I think mcwolf is talking sense! Only thing I will add mcwolf to answee your question warnock won't b around for a while an we would b looking for a newman very soon again plus his llast couple of jobs av been a bit sour i'd prefer jackett or mclaren with hasslebank to him or coyle personally siewolf

These are all good names and I reckon no other L1 club would be able to attract them. Maybe Wolves can't attract them either?

If you'd have asked me a year ago, I'd have said definitely not Warnock. But now? Anyone with proven Premier/Championship ability would be worthy of being our manager. Either that or we take a chance on another rising star. But that was what Deano was meant to be about.

now our fate has been decided I think wolves will attempt to sign a few league 1, 2 and french ligue 1, 2 players as well as 1 or 2 from ireland and scotland.

Well, that's vague!
