Hammill scored in the 'closed doors' friendly this week. Have a feeling he might get a run out at Sheffield.

Got a feeling he will be on the bench tom I know he is a bad boy but 100% player and don't we need some of them

I want to know why he was shut out in the first place, his streets ahead of most players we got.
Its a disgrace what as been happening

He was shut out because he's not that good. Nowhere near good enough to justify his selfishness and arrogance.

Agree can't understand why he is not in team great talent hope we don't sell give him a chance

I just read somewhere on the internet that says '' sako will be hard to keep hold of'

Slippery customer then!

Can we please stop using the phrase 'Oooooh be careful what you wish for.' So annoying!

Careful what you wish for mate

Almost as annoying as seeing the club you've supported all your life go down the pan, being run by people who don't care or take any notice of its fans and not even willing to pretend they have the good of the club at heart.

would anyone take boswinga from qpr on loan or not?

i really rated him at chelsea hasnt really fetured this year and qpr want him out

worth a loan with option to buy? possibly wages may be to high for us

not sure peoples thoughts?

What planet are you on. Will be off back to Portugal to count the millions made in England or off to Turkey, Russia or UAE for one last big pay day. If we are going to make suggestions as to possible targets lets keep a degree of realism.

Well said m8 those players are out of our reach, has beens more likely is wat we will get.

60lk a week, trains with the reserves, happy to see the last two years of his contract out.. Oh yes and doesn't, Speak to his team mates - should fit in fine.

Hi Ed

Just a question for you:

do you have any stats on how many people come on this 'Wolves web site' and how many actually comment? is it hundreds or just the usual 5 or so posting ?

would be interesting to know how broad spread the comments are

cheers
SC {Ed011's Note - I've always wondered but no idea tbh

I've never posted (til now) but check regularly, and I know of a fair few mates that do too ! {Ed001's Note - we don't have accurate stats, I am afraid. We used to have, but the company that hosts the sites no longer provides that as part of their service. We would have to pay a large chunk of money every month to see the stats, so we don't bother!}

I'm guessing that we 10 or so regular posters who sign their posts. I suspect maybe 10-20 regulars who don't (like me). Well, sometimes I do.

McWulf

To be honest I only found this site by accident and have started posting on here more recently. It's nice to see folks different opinions, even though about 62% of them are wrong. ;o) Ian C

Count me in - Glosman

I am one of those who monitors this site daily, but haven't posted until now. Given that I live in Canada, it's one of the ways that I keep up to date on the goings on (or at least rumours of what is happening) with Wolves. I promise not to post that I have inside knowledge of Messi at coming for a medical on Monday morning!

Ohh the weather out side is frightful but the fire is sooo delightful. Looks like the game will be off :( more preparation time I guess.

Thank you Michael Buble!

Getting to the play offs is no big deal. Remember even if you get there only 1 of the 4 teams get promoted. The important thing is that you prepare for an assault on the league next season when I expect you to be better equipped. Good luck, anyway.

Redbird

I often find that a team that finishes the season strongly carries on strongly into the next season, so it's definitely worth getting to the playoffs if a challenge next season is on the cards.

The reverse is also true as we saw last season and look where we are now.

The playoffs, of course!

just heard martin oneil say that a deal is nearly done with a championship club for fraizer cambell? {Ed001's Note - Cardiff mate.}

Never thought for one minute it was us

Would have been a good signing for us especially at price being mooted.

Cambell ain't no better than what we have

I read somewhere that Liverpool are looking at the way they pay players contracts, so that they are paid a basic salary which is then topped up with performance related pay! ...any thoughts??

....ie so that they won't be stuck with players on £70kpw who are just warming the bench or on the reserved ska joe cole etc

Yes, I was just thinking that I'd really like an ice cream, those are my thoughts.

Like some of the players, their salaries are about to take a dive.

Thats the way it used to be. I remember Graeme Souness saying recently that in his playing days made more money on performance related pay than on basic salary. Might get a few of ours playing for the shirt because some high profile players have not put in the required effort over last few months.

To the 3rd poster - my thoughts were that everyone is a comedian, but you'd need to actually be funny for that to be the case!

We all know we need new players but dean Saunders wants to trim his 40 man squad but no one wants any of them I for one know we need defenders but the best form of defence is attack and I would like to see wells from Bradford and Jackson in so much pace its wot we need to get behind oppositions defence with ds and his direct diagonal balls into the corners and when Ohara peszko boukari doumbia sako all fit surely it's onwards and upwards

18 Jan 2013 08:31:01
Norwich fan here, just going to say that if you get Jackson he may take a while to settle but if he hits a purple patch like he did at the end of our championship season he scores goals for fun. I think from memory he scored 10 goals in 6 games at the end of that season? Although I do remember him hitting Hat-tricks against Bristol, Scunthorpe and Derby. I am a big fan of his and would be disappointed to see him go

Thanks for the info, good luck in the big league.

We have between 5-7 players in the starting line up who won this league with Mick as manager, add to that Sako, Doumbia, Doyle, O Hara, Sigertson, Johnson, Davis etc. which is more than enough to get us out of this league. The problem lies with the negative fans who turn up every week and make Molineux such a hostile place for our own players. Just read some of the negative garbage posted on here day in day out. We keep looking up the road at west brom they've had 4 relegations to get to where they are yet we sulk and blame anyone who's name begins with the letter M after 1.
A lot of good things happened when Mick was manager that far out-weigh the bad.
alby8

Behave he was a k- -B, wasted loads of money and left us with Garbage. P.J.

Still walked the league with him in charge. Let's see how he gets on at Ipswich if they're in the same league as us next season. Ian C

Ipswich were clear bottom when he took over.

He recently said he could have kept us up last season. Well, I'm not so sure. The team had run out of steam and commitment. Maybe there's something about him that works for a while (2 or 3 years) and no longer.
