SteveBullStand - Zubar was too blame for Leeds goal. He should of been marking McCormack who was on the right wing creating Leeds' goal. Also , First game of the season , away to leeds with new players and new manager, in front of a home crowd, we were never gonna win. And were we gonna win every game not really. So I think that that a nice win on Tuesday will trigger wolves off. UTW.

I'm loving Stale's "Working hard blah blah blah" comment. Yeah we want team to put in a shift but what's the point without ability?

It may take him a while to sort out our sorry bunch, but in Stale I trust.

Going be a long season settle for survival now same team just different league defence awful forwards useless midfield clueless only bright light new polish player but one player not going to make a big difference time poxey and person got out and handled over the reins to somebody who cares about club and fans snd not making big money out of us

Today there was moments of good play but my god we were poor at the back. ward, well what the hell is he doing. zubar kept leaving position meaning the cb were puled out of position.

Peszko look sharp quick and decent but i remember seeing a few crosses that he put in (and one sigaurdson who put one in) where nobody was in the box. doyle was the front man so where the hell was he. When peszko got into that good position from a good run and good play, yes he could of had a go but why, why did doyle fall over. had he got there he could of had a shot. Tongo looks comfortable on the ball but like peszko and sig needs to get used to the pace of the league and once that happens they will be very good.

We need to sell those who want out (fletcher, jarvis etc) within the week and bring in possibly a cb, lb, and at least another striker.

The one really good thing was is that solbakken made a change at half time which did make a good affect where say mm would of left it.

I'm usually a fan of Ward and Zubar but today they just didn't look good enough against an average Championship team. I think bring Foley in, a new centre back and try Doherty at left back against Barnsley.
Liked the look of Peszko but I think a 4-3-3 would suit us better with Doumbia, Henry, Davis in midfield and Jarvis, Sigurdarson and Peszko up front.
I also felt Nouble should have been on the bench to bring on near the end. Would have been a nice target man to pump the ball forward to.

Oh dear , tad bitter, 'average ' we are not, we made you look below average,jarvis £9 m?, our kid byram had him in his pocket entire match, was doyle playing?, we are gonna be the team to catch this season,wolves are just gonna be also rans, mid table at best

It was not me being bitter. It was a fact. You finished 14th last season and there are much better teams in the Championship than Leeds.

That was last season, we are a new team in a new season, 9 players making lge debut , played you off the park, when they really gel we will be awesome, who have you seen play this season that are better than leeds after one game,stupid statement

Ok, so it was clear today that we need a few additions one up front. IF Fletcher leaves, we need a goalscorer as Blake and Doyle are not looking as if they can do the job. With the Fletcher money, we should go all out for Rhodes?

They can't score goals if we don't create them chances, we could put any forward there and wouldn't score. Forde has potential but he's not ready for starting matches yet, but our main problem is defence need to get a new lb, cb and possibly rb also

I see where your coming from. I think we really do need O'Hara fit or someone who can play behind the strikers. Playing Henry and Doumbia, 2 defensive midfielders, really does limit our creativity

We need henry out of midfield and more attacking midfitlder in there ,,,,guedioura type of player but us thicko's let him go

I am normally the optimist, but I am concerned over a couple of things - BUT NOT THER MANAGER.

The body language of SS was facially the same as most fans. I dont think he could believe the rubish he was witnessing.

The problems all stemmed from the back. Both full backs were poor today. Ward in posession and Zubar's positional play were the stand out features of a poor defence. Zubar was nowhere to be seen when they croissed the ball for the goal, which hurts me as I really am a fan of Zubar. Both centre halfs were getting pulled out of position to cover the full backs and when they did need to perform when Leeds played the ball through the middle they lacked confidence and more importantly pace. Big concerns here, yet again we start a season with a sub standard defence. 10 days to go in the transfer window, lets hope we ustilise it well.

Up front, Doyle and SEB looked slow and clumsy.

Forde looked out of his depth whilst Henry gave the ball away nearly everytime he had it.

Peszko and Sigurdarson looked great when they came on and Doumbia and Jarvo were the 2 stand out performances from the starting line up.

The big worry was the attitude of Doyle and SEB. They looked brain dead up front with no pace and a DGAF attitude, or at least that is what was being portrayed.

Other posters have stated their opinion that we need a new striker. I must agree. A big target man (as it appears we are to play quite a bit of hoof it up the pitch) to foil for SIG.

We desperately need a left full back and use Ward wide left when Jarvo goes (and good luck to him).

We also need a centre half with pace. One thing I will say is the RG's committment was there for all to see. I think perhaps he was trying a bit too hard today. Stearman in MY OPINION is as bad as Neil Collins. He must be replaced ASAP.

I think there is a lot of in unrest in the dressing room between them who want to go and them who are staying. They looked like a miserable bunch of ................. today. They need to lighten up and flow like we know they should do in this league. Perhaps we should all lower our expectations this season and just settle for SS rebuilding and getting rid of the failures previously recruited who just have not worked. Do we really need (If replacements are available);

SEB, DOYLE, EDWARDS, STEARMAN, ELOKOBI, BERRA

We do need Jarvo and Fletch but they are off. What is clear is that we cant rely on the others listed to replace them.

I would be content with a total re-structure in order to cleanse the playing staff. Even if we have a slightly extended stay in the Championship.

Worried fan here .....SS started with the team from last season if he does that again the fans will want him out ,
i will want him out cos that is plain blindness ,rather see pezo, siggy in from start than watch those inepts again ,
only ikeme looked any good.
SS you had better get real mate cos they will get you the sack.
Ward,Stearman zubar need replacing.
Henry as got to go ,the midfield just dont function right with him there.
Doyle and SEB well what can i say besides they didnt get much service and doyle as lost it big style , stay on feet doyle its getting rather silly now

yes we need a defender n a real left back but how do you no we have not tried to get people in "cause morgan n moxey dont care about the club" as the moaners say

we didnt play to bad tbf didnt have anyone creative to set any chances up but i think we deserved a point at least

I,m Pi##ed off with people saying how moxey shafted them by cutting there wages, This was in their contracts which THEY signed, Now they are crying like baby's because thay they are being treated like they should be and not being able to please themself's how they play and what they do, How many of them will think This is part my fault we are in the championship i will give my all to get back up and then i have earnt the right to have get the rest off my salary, And a point to Jez why can we not put to these players is that They have had a pay cut of 50% {which again they all signed for} But stay at the club and if we get back up this season we will give you the other 50% as a bonus out of the prize money we get for promotion

Great idea about getting the 50% if we go up. but i for one don"t want them at the club it"s there fault we are where we are. other players have also taken a 50% pay cut and are staying to try and get us back up.

Another loss. Nothing changes. Looking at the insignificant positives though, Peszko and Sigurdarson looked decent. As did Doumbia and Jarvo. Still need a new CB, and midfielder though. A new striker is also needed if Fletcher is off. A new full-back would be appreciated too.

Looked good box to box going forward..vulnerable on the retreat..and absolutely useless in both boxes.
The defence although threw themselves around bravely still can't read the game and the forwards well..what forwards?

You mean what we have needed for 3 years lol, ward saved his wolves career a couple of years ago with a run of decent games but for me the blokes tosh! , along with stears,and the crab move on and cut out the deadwood, forde was a little out of his depth.His replacement did well and Dombaiand the keeper, just really a dull untoothy peformance!!! not good or happy!!!!!

Sunderland fan here - surely 10m to spend on 2/3 new players than having Fletcher rotting in your reserves is better after watching you earlier ? We ain't gonna pay 15m coz he ain't worth it and you're gonna have a very long season !!

Just in case you forgot wolves fans dont sanction transfers and if he dont go he'll play for us all this talk is coming from his agent to try and seal a deal

Doyle looks like he,s lost it so no improvement there then.

Doyle should not be involved in build up play and just be a finisher until his confidence back

Not just stearman but doyle is a waste of time get siggy on or something, the bloke cant stop falling over and he aint helping SEB

The defence continues to be a shambles. Today we have ONE defender; Johnson. Stearman is useless, Ward and Zubar's positional play is (as always) just laughable. No wonder Leeds are finding so much room to move down the wings and in the middle Stearman just lurches from one personic mistake to his next personic mistake. PLEASE SS, for the love of God DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE DEFENCE AND QUICKLY!!

How can he look at 32 dvds and not get defenders in sorry think the guy will be a stool for morgan/ moxley 1 down at leeds

No way is that defence good enough for the championship

Hearing a few thing about fltch leaving, think we have enough with SEB,Doyle SEB will get 20+ in champ its same old story when we get promotion move these players on and improve, something we didnt do last time, hence were back here now.

Gotta say Fletcher and Jarvis more so Fletcher doing it all wrong for me, do well where ever you play and a move away to greener pastures will be an easy one, poor start in this god awful league will damage any chance of a move back to the big time.

Moxey will sell both Fletcher and Jarvis but it will not happen until the last few days of the transfer window and then he can say we did not have time to buy anyone even though everyone knows we have needed a left back for 4 seasons and another centre back. The same favourites as last year will get their games Ward, Stearman, Edwards, Hunt, the players they know they cannot sell as nobody will buy them. Moxey is only interested in increasing his bonus at the end of the year so the more he makes out of transfers the bigger it will be and we will be left with the dross nobody else will buy and the kids and when we get a decent kid he will sell him too.

SteveBullStand - Just an idea but why don't we sign Pedersen from Blackburn for a replacement for Jarvis if he goes. He's a Norwegian , like SS, so they won't have a language issue and with his left foot he would boost our push for promotion.

What language issue? They both speak very good English.

Hes a good player id take him.
