Just seen Burnley have lost Austin for the season - perhaps our luck might just be changing in the nick of time - hopefully - Barry

Massive 3 points and confidence boost last night I thought before the game we would get stuffed and it would be the nail in the coffin but after the first half I thought to be honest we had a few changes better changes then there's we held well in formation we passed well with the occasional bad touch and pass just a bit of sloppiness and I though 0-0 begging for a win due to the other teams results around us. But secound half whatever deano said at half time worked they looked good secound half played some good attacking football with passing on the floor and we scored from it. Proves we shouldn't and don't need to Hoof. Think last ten mins the players were shattered but we defended and threw ate bodies at everything which is so good to see spirit and fight back in the team. For a team secound in the league pretty much all year to not boss us around and us have the better changes I'm over the moon hopefully can take this on to the next three games now come on wolves. On a separate note I thought everyone played well with the odd sloppiness and mistakes. I thought Henry was the only player who looked out of place and showed the least fight and skill as usual but we don't have a lot of choice in that area ATM. But doumbia why have we not played him earlier this season he got the team passing and moving kept picking the ball up from the back four who kept going sideways and always looks at going forwards thought him Doherty and double could all have been man of match

On the way to the match last night I was listening to the radio. Anyone know anything about a spat between Moxey and Radio WM? Project Cock Up? Charles Ross accused the board of trying to stop freedom of speech and all sorts. Anyone enlighten me?

With 2 sides remaining with little to play for and Brighton who I suspect will be secured with a play-off spot before the final game kick offs, I think we can add 5 points to our total. This will keep us up, even if it goes to final day. Had we lost yesterday it could have been curtains. Bristol have now gone, Barnsley will have their confidence knocked with the last two results after their beating at the hands of Charlton and the late surrender to Derby, the other looks to be head to head with Pboro and Huddersf'd but looking at the games to come the latter has the favourable run-in. If Pboro have a good run Huddersf'd goal diff will be the undoing of them.
With our Deano we will not truly see what he can do until the slate is clean and the new season begins, however although he has addressed some areas has he resolved them or just painted over the cracks. It is definately not the former. Ikeme would still be starting but for injury, Robinson won't be back next season, Gorkss / Johnson partnership is lacking pace and not one that fills me with confidence as well as stopping a home grown talent in Bathh progressing and if he is not starting next season I would suspect leave, JOH is not a central midfielder, Henry is far too negative and only works well in a side that is going to be dominated all game, Doyle is not a goal getter but a grafter and only seems to be able to score when Hunt is providing. On a positive we will be a Championship club next term and have Doherty, Bathh, Sigi (will be class given time in an central attacking midfield role I suspect) and Griffiths (love or loathe him the lad equals goals).

Hull (and especially Bruce) obviously thought we were going to roll over tonight - dream on!
