Three massive points tonight. Well played lads, you rolled your sleeves up and dug deep. Yep rode our luck at times but Siggy and Doumbia should have scored. Didn't expect more than a draw tonight especially without JOH. Fingers crossed his absence could be a bonus if Doumbia continues to play well. Ian H

Get in, only two more to go! Anyone who went, how did we play tonight?

Not brilliant football in first half but we stifled their play. Well taken goal and defended for our lives - fighting spirit st last. Hunt was everywhere and Doherty's well timed tackle near the end was amazing. Come on wolves we can do this now!

Agree, rode our luck at times, but can't remember GK making many saves, had a couple of decent chances to increase the lead. Is just me or does RJ give the ball away continually, great in the air though.

Was worried that without Ohara we may not have any flare but think we were more solid but wouldn't have wanted to have to chase a game with that line up. Great atmosphere once we got ahead. Roll on Charlton and the end of the season wherever we finish clear out should begin, give Deano a chance to build his own side, personally I think he has made his assessment of the squad now and was beginning to change things - changed the full backs, no Berra, Left KH out, but injuries have slowed things down. We now have a chance again.

Aree that Doherty tackle was world class I had to admit I thought we was going to get tanked

Maybe there is still hope!

16 Apr 2013 21:44:39
Same stats as Peterborough now except thy have better GD. And what a relegation scrap what we're in now lmao maybe we will survive with a bit of luck.

It seems Mick McCarthy can get anyone to play for him, Nouble has scored 2 before half time!

Can someone tell me why bother getting Dicko on loan from Wigan if he does not bother to play him?

Bench warmer, as a I said before he arrived. Saunders is pretty thick, he hasn't won a game with Dicko as a starter so therefore he will remain on the bench. He can only count to 3, strikers and new arrivals confuse him.

16 Apr 2013 18:12:19
I fear for Wolves tonight because Hull are a good team. I don't think Saunders has a clue because he is not strong enough in relegation battles and that is why Doncaster went down. He says we will stop up. Lol we won't have a chance

Proven you wrong tos*er

Belief is what you need plus a goal and a clean sheet - simples!

A good 3 points but we are not safe yet we have to beat charting and then I think we will definitely stay up need a clear out at the end of the season

Hibs fan here, just heard leigh griffiths will be going back to wolves at the end of the season. Have to say you lot are in for a treat, what a player. Best striker i've seen at hibs, better than steven fletcher, and I mean that 100%. Wish him all the best, was always too good for SPL level, although in my eyes he's too good for wolves as well, easily a prem standard striker, first touch is immaculate and my god can the boy strike a ball. Will be sorely missed at easter road.

On a night like tonight this makes more good reading (for us anyway). He's been a star turn for you guys this season but I wonder if he can repeat this at the wolves. With due respect hope so.
PS, 1 - 0, out of the hat cometh the rabbit. wolfshead.

No offence but the SPL is about league 1 standard barring celtic, although, you've got to give him a chance I suppose, not to sure about him off the field though

Player of the season voting approaches. Who will it be? LOL?

{Ed011's Note - Margreitter. Just kidding but in all seriousness that's a difficult one. Hunt has been brilliant but he's only featured in the last part of the season. Maybe Sigurdarson but he has undoubtably had quiet portions of the season. Sako? Has had injuries, maybe we've played better without him but he's an outstanding player. Ebanks shone towards the end but under performed at the start. David Davis has had a decent season too.

We STILL don't have a good creative midfielder, Milijas was the closest we've had in recent years, maybe Guedioura too but neither of them were exactly well rounded players.

Player of the season should go to the fans who turn up week in and week out they are the real credit to the club.

The truth will set you free.

Should be players of the season, and it goes to the crowd who turn up week in week out to watch this doomed club.

Do STH still get the vote? It may be worth just spoiling the vote slip and returning to show the slight disappointment!

I'd probably say it's going to be Sako or Davis, could have been Doumbia if he featured a bit more. Seb is also a contender 'cause, even though it seems like he's only picked up form recently, he has scored a fair few goals

Player of the season should be postponed if we are relegated, not one is worth it

Give it to griffiths lol

Well for me it would be have to be Danny Batth, he must start frm the the start next season, he is quality, he will be another one that we will loose like Keene/Lescot because he is jusrt to good compared to those around him and makes Berra/Johnson/Ward/Henry/Ohara/Foley' look like sunday League players who have been on the pop the night before.

Stephen Hunt - he has definitely saved our bacon and his positivity is infectious which has resulted in better team spirit.

Stephen Hunt is a good shout, just have love him. Mr 100%

Don't worry, Deano says we won't go down, so we can relax now.

Hope your right deano and we stay up, you will be a miracle worker if you do and be loved forever. wolfy

Beano
What we're going to have to do is keep the ball out of our net a little bit better than we have been doing at the minute.

Amazingly the penny has dropped, perhaps the futures not so rubbish after all. Thanks for your words of wisdom. Now try telling your players how to do it?

Our players know exactly what to do. They must, they keep on writing about it!

i think people are right that morgan will sell the club, the problem is who will buy it? its div 1 here we come and that's not a tempting offer for anybody. i'd like to b on those magi musherooms that deano is on to say we need three wins, who is he kidding. that display saturday was absymal, we needed to win it and we were spineless. from the sacking of mad mick we have gone downhill, the sacking of saunders will happen if we get a new owner, if morgan gets no offers then he is here to stay cheap option which we have done all season. youth and experence will b needed in div 1 a goal scorer, playmaker midfielder, a ch and a lb kevin phillips could do us a good job in div 1 as so would phil neville. these would come because of there age and why danny bathe is not playing is a joke both gorkes and johnnson are a joke one foot can go back to reading now. who would you have as manager? remember we are in div 1 so won't get the elite even though we are still a big club, with at the mo NO AMBITION
