Daily record reports the Milan takeover also that robin li is under a non disclosure contract with wolves as he awaits to takeover.

{Ed041's Note - is there take over talk? haven't noticed :)

15 Jul 2016 22:33:55
Read the paperwork could take up to three weeks to go through FA.

16 Jul 2016 09:08:49
Keeping the takeover quiet so not much coverage on here! 🤐🤐🤐🤐.

15 Jul 2016 21:23:29
Was rather hoping the takeover would have been sorted by now. Got a school reunion on the premises tomorrow and because of being from sutton it's virtually all villa fans. I'll have to listen to them all day clacking on about their rich Chinese owner! Oh well. All good things come to those that wait!

15 Jul 2016 21:35:32
Just ask the Villa fans if they're concerned their Chinese person bought them before Brexit and the £ crash, so his investment is already down 10 or 20% whatever for what he could have paid now. I wonder if he's already converted the warchest he's investing from his foreign currency into Sterling and so has taken the Sterling devaluation hit there too, so he's less able to afford Euro / foreign players and wages? :-)

I'm disappointed no news yet too, just have to hope it's over weekend, if Kenny goes to Ireland with team then I'll start to wonder what's going on.

16 Jul 2016 00:28:52
ULF, that question you've suggested sounds like the ideal way to start the reunion off with a Bang and suttondan will win the king of the prom award at the end of the night. Erm.

15 Jul 2016 16:21:19
According to a calciomercato.com article, nothing has been confirmed re AC Milan takeover.

15 Jul 2016 20:11:23
John Percy just put on Twitter that the deal is 2-3 weeks away but then deleted it. No idea what it means.

15 Jul 2016 20:58:11
From when today. It already been 2 weeks possible more. It be closer than people think. We all checking. Want to celebrate it lol.

15 Jul 2016 21:13:02
Yeah today some guy asked a journalist on China about the deal and he said he didn't know anything but then Percy responded say to ignore him the deal is 2-3 weeks away but about 10 minutes later he deleted it no idea why.

15 Jul 2016 21:29:14
If it does take 2-3 weeks august month not too bad games. We will get points our side was shy on youth but there probably smarter this year. But we should get signings. Robin li nows the deadline for getting a squad. Might surprise us next week.

15 Jul 2016 21:33:02
Hopefully 👍.

15 Jul 2016 19:32:34
This lot is turning me into an alcoholic there's no news what's going on up the mol just let us know I've only got 9 cans out ov 24 please hurry up.

Our kid lives in king Edward Street Darlaston my fellow wolves fan you no anyone who lives there!

15 Jul 2016 19:14:12
takeover is 1000 percent on guys but it's definitely not robin li buying wolves. it's a guy called robin Chang. you herd it here first.

15 Jul 2016 19:22:46
Robin Chan from Asia Financial is 84 years old is he really in the stage of life to be buying a football club in the UK?
The only other Robin Chan of note is a retired footballer from America with notable wealth. How are you coming about this story?

15 Jul 2016 19:29:27
No such thing as 1000 percent. Ergo a false rumour.

15 Jul 2016 19:34:02
More like robin b@#$%&¥d!

15 Jul 2016 19:56:35
it's neither of the above. he is a self made millionaire and to the general fan a unheard of .

15 Jul 2016 20:06:17
bit like the guy at villa was.

15 Jul 2016 20:12:04
to be honest they are both china government backed.

15 Jul 2016 20:20:52
and it's Mr robin chang not chan.

15 Jul 2016 20:49:44
no it ay because I heard it was
Tri Ang.

15 Jul 2016 20:56:25
Willywolf
Sorry mate, I read the name wrong, I know nothing about the Chang fella. My mistake.
I guess we will have to wait and see!
It's all actually quite tiring now haha.

15 Jul 2016 18:39:22
If it gos through well be champions leage bound in 3 year . if not we'll be related to league one strange old game .

15 Jul 2016 18:24:21
This takeover has clearly fell through. Just don't understand why Moxey don't come out and state whether anything is close or not. Surely there's nothing wrong doing that?!

Having a closer look at Guillem Ballagues past tweets on Twitter he does seem to get a lot correct so all I presume is that talks were happening but now its fallen through.

Gutted so hope i'm wrong.

{Ed041's Note - Ballagues has been known to steal rumors and info from these pages. I wouldn't take his word for much.

15 Jul 2016 18:38:13
Don't panic it's still going ahead.

15 Jul 2016 15:39:33
If it wasn't happening we would of heard by now. The club would have denied it already. Wish they would hurry up though got no nails left.

15 Jul 2016 15:56:57
No finger nails left? You'll be starting on pies next and you know where that can lead. Next thing you'll be liking blazers, pale suits, slicked back hair, you'll start talking in riddles and trying to get a 10% cut of everyone else's pint when you buy a round in.

15 Jul 2016 17:46:19
Why are people so sceptical about the takeover? We're only waitin for the announcement! Its Happening 👍👍👍.

15 Jul 2016 19:50:30
I agree Paul as George Michael would say you got to have faith. sorting Milan was more important then wolves early next week I reckon.

15 Jul 2016 15:21:53
We're doomed!

15 Jul 2016 17:12:47
Stop panicking Wednesfield wolf all will be told when time is right, it's been to quiet for me for this deal to collapse now, another thing they would of told we by now if the deal wasn't going through as there would be nothing to lose, we have to remember these things take time.

15 Jul 2016 14:52:01
The AC Milan deal has gone through it has just been reported. us next?

15 Jul 2016 15:08:19
Only been reported by the express and star block on twitter, no conformation from inter milan yet!

15 Jul 2016 15:26:08
Rogue 1.I don't think Inter will be making an announcement seeing as it's their city rivals that have completed the take over.

15 Jul 2016 16:29:49
Ac milan not inter.

15 Jul 2016 14:39:57
: It's confirmed Rovbin Li's deal with AC Milan has completed 300+ million and He's holds 80% of shares. Wolves to announced in the next few days? I think so.

15 Jul 2016 15:14:48
Nothing confirmed.

15 Jul 2016 15:20:50
I think it's that Baidu hold 80% of shares rather than him personally. I don't know if that makes any difference, if he could still buy us personally (not via Baidu) and then there not be a conflict of interest with Baidu owned Milan in terms of Champions League competition etc?

15 Jul 2016 14:29:25
china tv report robin li just took control of ac milan for 350 mill, + the next question is when is it our turn,

15 Jul 2016 14:14:21
Baidu take $437 million acquisition of AC Milan. #WWFC

Good things to come for Wolves takeover now? From George rinaldi.

Could be the reason it taking a bit ac milan. Shared story with milan maybe.

15 Jul 2016 14:14:17
Can I ask a Villa fan when all this was going on at your club did you have all this its on its off .
Why oh why are we wolves supporters so fickle.

15 Jul 2016 15:15:39
We're not fickle we love our club! Its Happening 👍👍👍.

15 Jul 2016 14:13:46
Just seen that AC Milan have now been taken over by Baidu. In several reports it said it would be completed end of July, start of August. Things moved very fast, and now the transfer in complete. Was this the thing that has been holding up the acquisition of Wolves?

15 Jul 2016 14:04:11
Just reported on Rinaldi's twitter account that Baidu has taken a $437m acquisition of AC Milan. maybe just maybe .!

15 Jul 2016 14:01:10
CONFIRMED: Baidu take $437 million acquisition of AC Milan.

Good things to come for Wolves takeover now?

15 Jul 2016 13:53:03
Serious question ; does anyone know why season tickets have been 'unavailable' online since 11pm on Monday.

15 Jul 2016 14:54:33
You can, I have just tried on the website.

15 Jul 2016 15:02:45
Pretty obvious they intend to hike the prices, post takeover. you know what Moxey and co are capable of.

Today, Wolves U19 arrived for a tournament, along with Norwich, Hertha Berlin, 1860 Munich and Greuther Furth. Jerry Gill is my student's contact from back in his days at Norwich.

Jerry Gill has confirmed to my student this morning that Wolves are already under Chinese ownership. The deal is done.

I can't confirm who the owner (s) are, however, or if Moxey will remain. Gill is set to stay in post, so it does not seem to involve wholesale changes.

This is 100% in good faith - I 'borrowed' a tournament programme if anyone wants proof of my claim! Just the right and right time with a blabbermouth student who knows I am a Wolves fsn and couldn't wait to tell me the news.

Happy days

From mol mix.

15 Jul 2016 15:29:15
It's verified Czech IP address, and that he is at that football club, and that Wolves / Gill are there on that tour.

However, he is a brand new poster to Mol Mix, and there is in existence on another site a Baggie called CzechThrush. It could be him on a mega windup.

But then I do think the content of the info is correct, I do think they've been told so Gill would know, and that Kenny has known for a while too, as per this comment I just posted on E&S about his whining about not being prepared for coming season:

I wonder if Kenny is agitating because he knows the deal is done, he knows he's on his way out, but is frustrated that they've delayed announcing it and making it official, causing him to be held back finding or taking another job this season (during pre-season when he can best shape his team and their chances for coming season) ?

Maybe in fact he really isn't thinking about his chances of shaping the team at Wolves, but rather his opportunity of getting a new job this season and doing that at different club? Maybe he already has another club lined up and they are putting pressure on him to get out of Wolves and on with their pre-season?

15 Jul 2016 13:43:10
I just have a really bad feeling that nothing is going to happen. why when something promising seems to be happening to our club we get let down never updated about things and dragged through all this
Anyone no any info on takeover?

15 Jul 2016 14:31:58
Baidu take $437 million acquisition of AC Milan. #WWFC

Good things to come for Wolves takeover now?

Might of held up our deal or wants to do it together.

15 Jul 2016 13:19:35
Breaking: Jez Moxey has multiple body doubles.

15 Jul 2016 13:32:43
I saw one at Drayton Manor yesterday. Fat personroller at Thomas Land.

15 Jul 2016 13:38:01
All in the same body at the same time? He is legion!

15 Jul 2016 13:15:36
There will be an announcement today or early Monday morning that the current takeover as fell threw due to the amount of time taking over the deal. Robin Li will now put his sole intentions on making AC Milan one of the best in Europe.

15 Jul 2016 13:18:19
Oh shush. You're trying to cause anarchy. It's sad. You got better things to do then make up rumours?

15 Jul 2016 13:49:37
Yeah right. The same AC Milan takeover that's been ongoing since April.

15 Jul 2016 14:12:04
It is fact that Mr Li wants a UK profile not mainland europe. He is only a small element of the Milan takeover which has hit many more road blocks then the one here, so has that fallen through as well? . No it hasn't its just taking more time then we as supporters want it to. As much as it hurts me to say Moxey is not in a position to openly discuss what is going on hence we are all sitting on tender hooks. KJ has said today albeit in a guarded fashion that things are happening in fact he was clearly not happy that he wasnt in the know either.
Aquasitions take time unfortunatly the timeing of this could have been timed a little better with the season looming.

Penn take a pill and site in a darkened room for a while to calm down alternativly give your head a good shake!

15 Jul 2016 13:12:41
Sky have pulled up outside my house.

It's on.

15 Jul 2016 13:22:28
fibber.

15 Jul 2016 12:59:35
I really wonder what KJ is doing now. Every artical he is putting his name against is sending out a very negative message to any new owner. Is this is parting shot as he knows he is soon to be out of a job.

15 Jul 2016 12:57:33
I can confirm that a SKY van is indeed near Molinuex, he is at my flat installing my SKY tv.

15 Jul 2016 12:26:00
I'm starting to think it's all a load of crap! Someone please prove me wrong!

15 Jul 2016 12:14:58
From what it seems now a potential take over deal could take up to 3 weeks but hopefully this is not the case. If so then unfortunately the current squad we have will take us into the current season and I fear the worse at the moment with this current squad and the lack of experience we have. Hopefully I'm wrong and a takeover is just a matter of days away so we can get some signings done and not have to worry for this season.

15 Jul 2016 11:54:19
Goldfinger : did you wonder why you were the only one in the shop. getting no more of my money while the 2 M's are still there!

15 Jul 2016 10:56:34
Great another day where our club treats us like mushrooms, keep us in the dark and feed us manure. Would be nice to get any sort of statement just to set us at ease, does anyone think they care about the supporters?

15 Jul 2016 10:36:04
all parties are sworn to secrecy. deals done just a matter of time now.

15 Jul 2016 11:51:21
I agree with that CoseleyGlenn, and it looks like the sworn to secrecy is spot on and working because every one is having a guess at it because nobody nows 100%, all will be relieved soon I hope, reminds me of last year with Mason sighning who would of believed we would pay £3 million to buy him but we did .

15 jul 2016 12:45:03
all parties concerned signed a non disclosure agreement! so there will be no news from anywhere until deal is finalised. just be patient guys.

15 Jul 2016 13:44:21
Perfect coseleyglenn and that's the way it will be patient fans.

15 Jul 2016 10:34:58
Just heard Allardyce got England job.

15 Jul 2016 10:16:10
Soon be christmas. lol.

15 jul 2016 10:12:53
anyone know when guillem balague is back? we need more info! help!

15 Jul 2016 10:55:27
Maybe he isn't on holiday. He's in some Chinese labour camp after he all of his twittering upset the chinese. This Robin Li chap must have some powerful friends in the Chinese politburo.

15 Jul 2016 09:47:43
Think we all need to organise a strikeoutside molineux. That might push them for answers.

15 Jul 2016 10:03:36
Both parties are bound by confidentiality agreements and won't be able to report on it.

15 Jul 2016 10:17:56
I don't have any ITK contacts. But think about SMorgan - he loves grass roots football, he's scouse who loves community, he got into Wolves because he wanted to be part of a passionate family like SJH was and be appreciated. It all went pear shaped, tantrum, everyone hating everyone else, he stomps off and sells the club to wash his hands of it. But then as it's sold, he calms down, reflects, his scouse sentimental / emotional side catches up with him. I think SMorgan would want one final game as Wolves owner, Crewe would be perfect because it's small and away from Mol so low key, and with pre-season away support only, most dedicated fans so most personal / most grass roots.

I reckon it being announced immediately after the Crewe game, giving SMorgan a chance to say goodbye and bow out with dignity, makes most sense. For who he is, and maybe it suits the Chinese too, as announced tonight it will hit the weekend papers hardest, but without the working weekday time for the Journo's to dig into it, and so it helps their information control and them stay in control. Then off to Ireland where they can shape up without hassle.

No inside info, but to me that makes most sense.

15 Jul 2016 10:48:34
Also, if that's true that Morgan has held announcement up so he can do it more personally and bow out with dignity at Crewe to help him rebuild a bridge with the community before he leaves, Wolves would probably want to actively mislead people into thinking the deal is still weeks away and won't be announced at Crewe tonight, because they'll want Crewe to stay real grass roots and not get over run with other fans and lots of press jumping on it.

So while it is only guessing, I reckon it's a reasonable enough guess that we can ignore lack of action and rumours during today and not get stressed, and let's just see what happens after Crewe game or over the weekend.

If nothing has happened by next week and time they're in Ireland, unless I hear definitely different, I'll just assume the take over is still happening, but the Brexit vote and drop in Sterling complicated the deal so pushed it back several weeks but will still be ok. I think Robin Li has the means to bulldozer through this eventually, and I think we fit his agenda so well he'll be determined to.

15 Jul 2016 12:18:03
Little known fact but how true I'm unsure but I beleive Morgan put £2.5m into wexham fc via a 3rd party this his project because realised not got the wealth to take wolves were we need be in order be a sucess so wexham close to his home req less investment in order succeed but like said have no firm proof this is true but have heard it several times from various folk all over Preston - Liverpool - Manchester area.

{Ed001's Note - he was one of a number of people who stepped in when Wrexham were going under and put money in. So this could be an old story being recycled.}

15 Jul 2016 12:54:04
A bit late to bow out with dignity isn't it? Maybe he'll accept his 40 million+ in the centre circle at Molineux before the Swansea game (Sir Jack's benefit game)

15 Jul 2016 09:44:04
The lack of any official communication about takeover is quite astonishing. To me it means it's not on and it's not off. If there was a conclusion one way or the other surely it would have been published. Alternatively are the ongoing discussions with more than one party? That might be an explanation. However for a long time the fans have complained about being ignored by Morgan and Moxey. If there are new owners in the wings is this a demonstration that their attitude is going to be similar? That would be worrying, as would the possibility of Wolves becoming a feeder club to A. C. Milan, or even China. That might mean all the youngsters with potential are blooded at home to be sold abroad. Great as a money making exercise but perhaps not for Wolves. We will have to be patient and see- no choice.

15 Jul 2016 10:03:22
Both parties are bound by confidentiality agreements and won't be able to report on it. 👍.

15 Jul 2016 11:35:05
Don't think Morgan gives a dam anymore, if he ever did.
We've always had a red in the bed.

15 Jul 2016 11:38:02
PS. and hopefully we'll have another soon. lol.

15 Jul 2016 09:19:55
There two reports. One saying the new manager about to sign. After the orginal report.

15 Jul 2016 09:59:09
Wolf money can you explain were this report comes from and what you mean one report saying the Manager about to sighn for who.

15 Jul 2016 11:10:24
Go on marca wolves in twitter search.

15 Jul 2016 09:02:40
3 weeks to the start of the season and no signings. a young team is being taken to ireland for friendly, I wander what they are thinking about the so called take over. will they get a look in the new regime. I would be worried if it was me, hope its sorted out sooner rather than later. it could be a rocky first few weeks to the season. keeping my fingers crossed, we deserve better in what we are being told. gave up my season ticket at the end of last season because of the dreadful football on show. hope the good times come back.

15 Jul 2016 08:26:36
With all of the rumours going around saying the takeover has collapsed, perhaps it would be a good time for the club to say yes it's collapsed or it's still going ahead.
The way they treat the fans is appalling' considering they must be aware of the constant chatter and speculation.
After all to them it's a business but to the fans it's part of life.

15 Jul 2016 08:45:29
If the deal as fell through at this late stage we should be askin why.

15 Jul 2016 09:37:54
Not a dig at you specifically Jimmy Jones but I don't understand how so many wolves fans are up in arms over the fact wolves haven't provided updates. Both parties are bound by confidentiality agreements and won't be able to report on it.
Wolves are doing this the right way, it just requires patience on our behalf.

15 Jul 2016 09:39:29
If the deal fell through we would no longer be bound by confidentiality agreements and we would hear that it has fallen through. In a nutshell 'no news is good News's 👍.

15 Jul 2016 09:40:07
jimmyjones - the club's PR is appalling and whilst it is a business, it would be a very sick business if the fans turned their backs on it. I agree with your sentiment. The club should embrace the fans and get their PR sorted. They could at least admit or deny that there is a possible takeover in place surely?

15 Jul 2016 09:52:04
Guys I read the article it doesn't say it's collapsed, some fool misread it and others follow like demented sheep!
Get a grip wolves fans and chill out.

15 Jul 2016 08:13:32
Its gone really quiet on this takeover is it guna happen because were running out of time as anybody got new information.

15 Jul 2016 09:03:33
It's not really gone quiet. to be fair the clubs stance has been pretty consistent throughout - saying nothing, confirming nothing, denying nothing. It's only us on here spreading (often factless) rumours that's changed. People are getting sick of the same old garbage -"it's today", "heard the deals off" etc. Thus even the attention seeking ITK posters are getting bored.
I know nothing, but common sense says if there was nothing in it or it had collapsed they would have said something. There's no point in not, both for the fans, players and the manager - who's being treated disgracefully in my opinion. So for me no news is good news!

15 Jul 2016 08:00:13
Chinese friends emailed me back read the papers and nothing . So maybe it's not happening, we could be in a right mess kept hanging on like this, the transfer window will of closed and nothing .

15 Jul 2016 07:36:26
Come on then, who's going to be the first to say they're " source" tells them its today!

15 Jul 2016 07:45:51
My source is unreliable and all over the place at the moment. I had to make another Bacon sarnie it was that bad.

15 Jul 2016 08:24:25
I know my source means I had to make a sausage sandwich with tomato.

15 Jul 2016 08:31:29
I guess when 84 people have been mowed down in France it puts things in perspective, but one thing should be clear to the powers that be at our club. Whether the sale is going through or has stalled or folded, we cannot go into the season with the threadbare squad we have got. Some decisions have to be made now if we are not going to go into the season unprepared an demoralised.
I hope everything is still on track and maybe Lopetugui is hedging his bets because he doesn't want to find he's missed out on both jobs, but if we haven't pulled the deal off then that's pretty worrying.
It seems that nobody is any wiser than anybody else and if negotiations aren't complete it is going to be a fluid situation till it's done and pointless to claim to be in the know.

15 Jul 2016 10:35:03
My source is telling me to get the bacon on.

15 Jul 2016 07:04:55
Stop panicing everyone. I know it seems like a lifetime. But the story only broke 2 weeks ago yesterday. That is nothing time wise in a multi million pound deal. We have no idea how long they had been in negotiation prior to then. So we just have to be patient. My thoughts on it are simple. If the deals falls through, the club will HAVE to make an announcement, there is no doubt about that. So let's just wait and see. i'm as excited as every Wolves fan out there. As I said yesterday. PATIENCE.

{Ed001's Note - when the Manchester City takeover took place, Robinho was bought as a good faith payment during the early stages of the takeover, about where Wolves are said to be now. That was in August. The takeover only actually completed just in time for the January transfer window. They take months. People just didn't notice the time it took because of that good faith payment and because there were no hitches or issues being highlighted by the media.}

15 Jul 2016 07:21:58
Morning Ed.
What an excellent point that is. As I mentioned above, we just don't know how long the negotiations have been going on. It could well be months away. But you know us football supporters! We are an impatient bunch. The only thing that might point to it being closer is the total lack of transfer activity. Our squad is threadbare, and relegation would be more of an option than a Play Off push. There are rumours that players have agreed deals and are waiting to sign. Perhaps they have already signed? But your point above is very valid and interesting. Thank you.

{Ed001's Note - the reason I mentioned Robinho being a good faith payment was because it was the same there. They had no transfer activity because of the takeover. Sheikh Mansour paid for the Robinho deal outside of the takeover. He took a big risk, as that £30+m would have been thrown away if the deal had fallen through.}

This is indeed very worrying. Seeing as it was the paper that broke the news in the first place. But we just don't know anything do we. So we have to wait. But I do worry as to why the deal for McDonald has stalled. Are we trying to hang onto him to cover all eventualities?
