well I have to eat humble pie when I first saw the team selection yesterday I thought oh no why, but the boys done good and proved me wrong. danny batth still out of position a couple of times and not loud enough to lead the back four, but I think with williamson along side him could learn a lot.

will we sign anyone? its obvious we need a goal getter. jon dadi is great to watch but needs help. nouha seems to have lost pace and control but we need to unload before increasing the staff so let's wait and see.

so far so good for mr lambert and I for one love to see the youngsters given a chance. let's hope we can put one in moxeys pipe next week onwards and upwards COYW!

Realy happy with how Lambert is running our club seams to have a lot of faith in the players he chooses, and who are we to argue when you get results and performances of late.
I am sure there is a lot of Wolves fans who would not of chosen that side but you have to give credit were it's due, well done Lambo, wish Dicho would have passed that ball though to Costa it would of put the icing on the cake he did same at Stoke when it was easier to pass than shoot but I supose he will come good when he gets first goal which surely is not far away,8 points now from danger zone getting there slowly but surely come on you Wolves keep up the good work.

New image uploaded to the
Wolves Player Sightings page entitled, Drink driver crashed into Billy Wright statue. credit to express and star for pic.

15 Jan 2017 12:14:54
Has anybody seen or heard anything concerning the Billy Wright statue getting damaged yesterday?

15 Jan 2017 13:36:11
I've not heard anything Jimmy. But seeing as the Vile fans were the 'other' side of the ground, let's hope it's just a rumour, with no facts behind it

15 Jan 2017 14:18:50
A car drove into it. Drink driver. Think it was early hours of this morning and not football fan related.

15 Jan 2017 14:22:13
It was damaged by a drunk driver and is a bit of a mess

15 Jan 2017 14:32:12
Report in the E&S car ran into it!

15 Jan 2017 14:35:37
Was a drink driver apparantly collided with the statue, this is according to e+s. will post pic from the article in sightings.

15 Jan 2017 14:41:43
Drink driving incident I hear.

15 Jan 2017 14:53:04
Not sure I sent the report to j. j's query re the B. W. statue, but it appears it was a drink-driver hit it. in custody now.

15 Jan 2017 15:17:41
What an idiot and thank god it wasn't a villa fan fairplay

15 Jan 2017 18:02:48
At least it was statue he hit and not a person. Statues can be fixed. I'll never understand why people still drink and drive.

15 Jan 2017 20:03:37
At least Billy is still standing more than the driver cam say

Wasn't sure about Lambert but I am impressed with the way he is going about the job. If the kids continue to develop we could have a homegrown squad in a few years at minimal cost. We still need a striker but don't expect much to happen in this window. The question for the summer is how to get Costa to stay or replace him with quality. Cav still needs work to justify his price tag. If Mendes is involved in transfers Thelwell needs to do proper due diligence this time but some foreign flair has provided the spark this year. I'm sure Lambert will get it right this time.

No comments by Tamworth and Wednesfield what's up

Great win again! Typical Derby, scrappy affair. We were anywhere near as good as stoke last week. Helder was a long way off his game, but a lovely player. Especially when he's on it. Nouha has no composure in front of goal. He just bangs the ball at the goal keeper.

That's why we need a quality striker. One with composure would pass it over or around the goal keeper not just blast it at him. Helder has this quality. That's what's makes him so good on his day.
PL so far seems to be doing a good job. Personally I would have like to see the same team as was out against stoke or at leat MW in the team. 👍😉

Lol I think some on here think I love to see Wolves lose? I love Wolves with a passion, that's why I spend a lot of money going home and away! But because of my passion I want perfection, that's why I'm critical at times!

Yesterday I was very proud of Lambo, the lads and our fans! We must try and keep Costa and get players in with his ability! If someone offers 3 mil for Dicko I say take it!

15 Jan 2017 12:05:04
I tend to agree about Dicko. I would love him to be the Dicko of old but I fear that will never happen. We desperately need a good striker above all else. To continue to play Dicko isn't doing him or the team any good as he continually spurns chances and denies chances for his team mates. Sad I know but I also think he has to go, or at least is rested for a time.

15 Jan 2017 13:28:21
Dicko is desperate to score think he's over trying that's all he's showing flashes of old now.

15 Jan 2017 13:34:02
Paul, like most you want perfection but that does not happen overnight or even next week or month. It takes time, a good eye for the right palyer and I would say a slice of luck too. but most of all something some Wolves fan lack in spades - patience

15 Jan 2017 15:22:03
If we let dicko go it will be same as vokes winnall he will find his shooting boots and bang em home let's give him a chance he deserves it.

16 Jan 2017 17:30:43
A tough one with Dicko. Bod too. We had Siggy playing a number of matches at the end of the last season without scoring. Seems to be something about the way we play, that the goals come from midfielders. Especially Edwards, who likes to get well forward when the ball is going down the wing. I think he's robbing these guys of scoring opportunities!

15 Jan 2017 05:54:47
I believe at some point, all of us supporters have complained about every player that we have - some more than others. And in truth, they deserved it. Yet somehow these last three games all of the same players have played well.

Lambeth has surprised us with some choices, and I'm sure most of us said WTF? before the game. Yet he has come up trumps! I will be first in line to say - he knows a lot more than all of us put together.

So instead of criticising (invariably AFTER the game) let us support the team - especially if they go behind. and not booing individuals or the whole team. That is when they need our support the most.

15 Jan 2017 08:58:46
I haven't, I'm not hypocritical.

15 Jan 2017 00:02:41
Credit where it's due. Thelwell seems to have done a great job in appointing lambert. Wouldn't of been my 1st choice but Lambert has won me over so far, the style of football is exiting, bringing in youngster's, uniting players and fans coupled with 3 clean sheets and couple of good victories. Feels good to be a wolves fan right now. COYW
