Anyone else think McAlinden should start on Saturday? Played very well when he came on, made chances for him self and can hold the ball up well, he'd work well with Griff or Dicko up top

He will start I my opinion, he is looking better than anything we have got quick sharp and a lot stronger than he was before, you can see a mile off that he is a different class of player, if he is allowed to learn his stuff with us instead of on loan he will become a Wolves legend but showboating like he did last Saturday and being confident enough to do it in a cameo role shows his worth, putting him out on loan will draw attention from other clubs if plays like that, I have already heard from the Shrews fans that against vale in particular he was a different class for them and they would haver him back in a heart beat, he scored 3 for them in 9 games but like with us he was getting very little service and clearly could have done better with a better class of midfield which in my opinion we now have so YES is the answer to your question.

I like him a lot, not sure why he is that far down the picking order. If you recall him from Shrewsbury should be used now he is over his illness.

Or, are we keeping him under wraps to stop people sniffing around?

Jackett says the team from last week "should keep their places" as he was impressed by them. Those coming back from injury will have to wait their turn.

That's what he says, anyway. What he does is anyone's guess. Never the same team twice.

(I'd love to see a proper strike pair in action again - from the start.)

Let k.j.decide doing great job at moment clearing all the dead wood out, could be exciting times ahead, let's get behind team and stop knocking them

WolvesFanGroup -
We have Dicko, Clarke looks set to join.
Doyle looks like he's leaving.

Our potential strikers list:
Griffiths
Clarke
Dicko
Cassidy
Sigurdarson
Mcalinden

Can't see us keeping all 6 of them. Are Dicko and Clarke replacements for Doyle and Sigurdarson/Griffiths? Or will Mcalinden and cassidy go on loan?

Looking at the strikers that we have right now its:

Dicko
Griffiths
Doyle
Cassidy
Sigurdarson
McAlinden

If the rumours all turn out to be true we'd just be left with Dicko and Cassidy, so that won't happen (or?).

Dicko vs Siggy think we know the answer there.

Doyle, as the lone man up front - 3 goals so far tells its own story - suggests he could go. (Not saying he couldn't try other roles. but).

Griffiths is the tricky one. I'll stick my neck out and say if the price is right. Celtic, Leeds or Wigan and each of these clubs could give us a player we want (or have given in the case of Wigan).

The replacements give more food for thought.

If Doyle goes (and to cover Edwards) an attacking, goal scoring, midfielder - McGregor? Or maybe Pritchard? That might be the biggest priority now that Dicko has been landed.

And if Griffiths leaves then KJ will need another striker. Clarke? not sure about that one. So one other striker and a loan signing if Griff goes. In any event fire power is the name of the game if we're going to stay with and overtake Brentford and Orient.

Best January transfer window I can remember for a while. wolfshead.

They won't all go. Siggy is the most likely folloed by Doyle and Griff.

I would try and get Carragher out of retirement!

His translator might cost a bit
