Just listened to Nuno talk about tomorrow's game. i'm not getting carried away and I know there'll be losses and bad days along the way but I've never been more convinced that we've got one hell of a manager.
Totally committed . talks absolute sense and knows how he wants football to be played. might not be straight away but let's keep hold of this bloke as long as we can because he's head and shoulders above anybody we've had for years.

14 Aug 2017 21:56:30
He's an absoute gem Timtoo. A different level to what we are used to.
Not sure if there's any truth, but I've heard that Fosun have been chasing him/ enquiring, since February. Obviously they knew his pedigree.

15 Aug 2017 10:42:39
We are favourites for promotion now so a lot of people also think this is our season.

15 Aug 2017 11:47:02
I'll second that nuno is the right man and that just showed at pride park we completely controlled the game like we haven't the last 4 times we played them nuno showed his wise ways better than all the last 5 managers put together I expect tonight me babies will do us all proud again and bring 3 points home and ill even go as far as saying my 5quid is on wolves to win 3-0 and mark my words if we come away from hull with that results no one will beat us this season.

15 Aug 2017 12:50:00
OK calm down a bit only 2 league games gone if after 10 and we are in the same position then I think we can start creaming our pants.

15 Aug 2017 18:19:44
What's wrong with being optimistic Paul
Give him a break.

15 Aug 2017 22:59:46
3 games in paul still think i'm too over enthusiastic 2 tough away games 3 of promotional favourites beat! flying high on the cloud on towards the promised land no stopping the nuno bus very very proud to be a wolves fan and some off you get behind the lads people saying we would lose against derby and draw at hull come on boys have belief in the lads.

14 Aug 2017 20:32:13
HAs anyone else picked up a parking fine for parking on whitmore hill car park? I know it was a good start to the season but not Β£100 pounds worth . good job they were sent out in error . LolπŸ˜€.

14 Aug 2017 22:23:54
Did you read that in the news?

14 Aug 2017 19:28:35

Spot on buddy, your'e a witch.

14 Aug 2017 21:50:54

14 Aug 2017 23:19:08

I'm talking more shite than Gee.

14 Aug 2017 18:31:59
All this talk of ffp is nonsense as it all depends on length of contract ie costa and nevas both signed 5 year contracts so with the out lay of just under 30mill over 5 years is 6million we spent so ffp go do one rubbish if psg can buy 400 million on 2 players and we are worried about splashing 20 mill rubbish work it out if both signed for 5 years that's 50 mill over 5 years is 10 mill a season simples with the extra tv money and of course sponsorship which to be fair like man city we can invest 300mill over 5 years from jeffs left pocket hope that clears up ffp as that is how its works in laymen terms.

14 Aug 2017 18:11:41
There will be no striker. If we were going to sign a striker I think it would have been done by now. My feeling is we will wait till January. I think we will rely on what we have and hope our creativity in midfield unlocks defences.

The longer this goes on and anticipation builds the more I think it will not happen. This is not a negative post by the way just my gut feeling.

14 Aug 2017 18:33:49
We have started the season well, now is NOT the time to defer signing 2 quality strikers. Now is the time to press home our advantage and the need for goals at the sharp end! We will regret this I think if we don't address this.

Just my opinion for what it's worth. πŸ˜‰βš½οΈπŸ‘.

14 Aug 2017 20:49:24
I've been told by a top source that we are looking to sign agbonlahor from villa. santo sees him as a cheap bench option for 3 million. we are also looking at bringing ings in on loan from Liverpool.

I moved to England in 1958 and have watched and supported Wolves ever since. In that time we have had great teams and great individual players; far too many to mention. We have also had countless managers/ head coaches in that time. Some have obviously been more successful than others and some have got our team playing better than the sum of the constituent parts. Unfortunately, I am enjoying an amazing holiday in Sri Lanka at the moment and having to follow our fortunes second hand through all possible internet sites. The Derby County sites extended highlights were fantastic in that respect. Despite the second hand nature of what I have seen and read, I am pretty confident in my assertion that I have never seen a Wolves coach who has had the degree of impact on our team, the individual players and our positive style of play, that Nuno and his staff have had to date. What they have achieved in a relatively short period of time is nothing short of remarkable. The turgid, insipid displays we have had to endure in the last two seasons have been enough to try the patience of the most ardent fans. When a new coach arrives and declares that he can make our players better players one can be excused for taking this with a degree of cynicism, as we have had so many false dans. BUT Nino has delivered. Coady, Bright, Saiss and Doherty. Where he can't make a silk purse from a sow, s ear he has brought in those he can improve. To hear him talk about how much more the players can improve is fantastic. Those who are willing to listen, learn and above all work hard and professionally will stay and flourish, those who can't or won't will be moved on. There appears a whole new level of professionalism about everything the coaching staff are doing and demanding: bodes really positively for our future. Hopefully the days of relying on distant past glories may be coming to an end.
Bit over the top I know, but from this side of the World with the Indian Ocean lapping gently on the beach, everything looks pretty positive.

14 Aug 2017 23:11:45
Totally summed it up scottish wolf. Excellently put mate.

14 Aug 2017 15:28:43
Football League World are saying Wolves player to miss Hull game! When I opened it it was Edwards! Phew what a relief, thought it was someone important!

14 Aug 2017 13:38:35
Down to 6/ 1 now with the bookies to win league. Boro 11/ 2 and we beat them comfortably.

15 Aug 2017 10:45:58
The other way round when I last looked we are favourites at 11/ 2 and Boro 6/ 1.

14 Aug 2017 13:54:41
Glad you liked it lol, thought it was only fitting after my david platt joke and messi picture.

14 Aug 2017 10:10:07
Sheffield united may up offer for Cody somehow can't see them having spare Β£20m to offer because seeing as Nuno said he not going anywhere it going have be one hell a offer for him reconsider also video evidence Cody saying he happy at wolves when fan asked why go Sheffield united they should concentrate on Batth seeing as he on fringes now.

14 Aug 2017 09:36:21
I have watched the sequence starting with a Bolly pass and ending with Doherty shooting into the side netting. Quite brilliant.

I am convinced however that Doherty was pushed just as he shot causing him to miss. Should have been a penalty!

What do other people think? The sequence is on the E&S web site.

14 Aug 2017 18:37:18
yes, he was. i would say it was just enough to unbalance him, but debatable as the whether it was a penalty or a fair shoulder charge.
give it a while for the fitness levels to increase and that extra millisecond of speed will negate these challenges. jota`s clean through break away was another example where that little extra speed would have made all the difference.

Hi all,

Long time listener and some of the rumours on here are top notch, some of it drivel (Ulf. No offence) .

I think costa will want to stay at wolves now more than ever, he must look at the quality signings and style of play by Mr Santo and be itching to get back on the pitch.

When you look at the revelation of coady at the back, big john in goal and cav, Douglas and bright looking like they are ready to explode this season it makes you realise Super Santo was the fantastic manager we have waited for (long gone are the days of solbakken etc) and he will get the best out of players that he sees can make the grade.

I would ask one thing from you all though, patience! I was born under a wanderers scarf but in london, My dad's from wolves and I've followed them 30 odd years now too. I have travelled every mile you have to see wolves. When they falter at times this year support them more than ever! No booing, just cheers. This is the start of a golden era gents. Come on me babbies.

14 Aug 2017 12:30:11
I think Costa will be happy to stay. Of course if an offer came in that appealed to him he might want to go. Similar to Coutinho at Liverpool. Although, as he is coming back from an injury I doubt any club will offer the kind of transfer fee we would demand before he is fully fit.

I think the important thing is for Wolves to be in promotion contention come the January transfer window. The first couple of games look as though we will be. If we are then I think we can convince Costa to see out the season.

14 Aug 2017 12:59:11
Costa, along with all of our key loan signings, will be happy to stay if by January we are looking a good promotion bet. Jota, Boly and Cav and Neves all want premier league football. Positive experience of Nino and his staff will persuade them that this is possible by staying put. Will also understand that Fosun don't want to visit the Premier League for one season but will invest heavily to stay there and progress the plan to the next stage. All new arrivals have expressed their surprise at stature of our club and the excellent facilities. Success on the pitch will ensure all those we want to keep we will keep.

14 Aug 2017 16:04:16
If our ticket website is to believed.

We're looking at another good gate for Cardiff, 2nd home game of the season and selling well during main Summer holidays is excellent.
If we beat Hull tomorrow, the ticket office will be inundated with fans.

14 Aug 2017 01:05:59
I think Paul from Tamworth will be smiling now.

The Fosun Mendes doubters seem to have gone quiet .

Expect two strikers with one on loan plus sale of

Mason Price Dicko and Batth

Loan of Zyro Edwards and graham.

Bring in Marshall Costa and the full back and we have an incredible squad.

We done Jeff.

14 Aug 2017 08:35:01
100000000% happy Eogg52πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Perfect startπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Fosun Nuno Mendes 😍😍😍.

14 Aug 2017 08:43:17
After only 3 games is not the time to get carried away, it's a long season an.

14 Aug 2017 08:44:43
It's a long season and there will be a lot of ups and downs.
Too early to get carried away.

14 Aug 2017 09:08:03
More UPS lupinhowler πŸ‘ Less of the negativity!

14 Aug 2017 10:09:38
I don't care if it's the start of the season. We have an intelligent quietly spoken manager who has stated he wants to improve players not just buy more. We look fitter and sharper than for years.

The owners are involved and backing him and I think that his style of football will at times be a little dull it is a style that we can stick to and work on. We lacked a little bit of pace on Saturday and a striker creating space. But imagine costa jotta and cav.

Fosun have only just started.

14 Aug 2017 10:16:08
Is it realy a long season
State the obvious.

14 Aug 2017 10:36:52
