Jas m youre a radio listener fact. I felt the way we celebrated beating liverpool was embarrassing. were not Wycombe wanderers. and your correct I haven't been happy all season as I don't berry my head and pretent to be excited by the the signings of 13 unknown players and a manager. I predicted this would happen and it has. although lambert has made mistakes the biggest of them all was transfer window 2016. if moxey would have been behind the signing made what would have been said. too many fans make there own rules up.

{Ed033's Note - Probably a good idea not to "berry" your head 😋.

Bottom line is that Lambert can only work with the players he has got. The 2 signings he has made were the best players in the last 2 games so surely he must have something about him. We've produced 2 abysmal performances in the last week but somehow got 4 points.

Everything isn't rosy. I won't pretend it is but surely Lambert must be given the summer transfer window to shape the squad as he wants it. As most on here state, our squad is no more than a good League 1 squad, therefore why is the expectation that we should be challenging for promotion.

The squad needs a major overhaul but I believe that given time and freedom to bring in his own players, PL can lead us to the promised land.

13 Mar 2017 23:19:06
What brings you to this neck o' the woods ed?

{Ed033's Note - No posters on the conspiracy site that has returned.

13 Mar 2017 17:17:32
When Mr Lambert came to the club and said " the squads to big " he must have thought some of them could play, now after giving most of them a chance and trying them in every position he can think of - he knows what we knew already, you'd have thought someone would have told him. No point changing, can't build a house with no bricks.

13 Mar 2017 17:05:21

Saw a group of Chinese coming out of Ming Moon on Stafford Rd this afternoon.

13 Mar 2017 19:25:51
Probably went in for a takeaway! 😂😉.

13 Mar 2017 12:08:39
Derby and Wigan both sack their managers! Come on Big Jeff let's make it a hat trick 👍.

13 Mar 2017 12:42:31
If he did sack Lambert who would you want to make the choice to replace him. Thelwell who most fans seem to now think is useless. Shi who doesn't have a great understanding of the Championship. Or is there someone else?

13 Mar 2017 13:02:12
I think the biggest problem is a commitee identifying and buying the players without any input from the manager/ head coach and then expecting them to be a success. It simply doesn't work. Look at the likes of Tommy Rowe, Jed Wallace and Nathan Byrne to name 3. The manager needs the freedom to identify the players that he wants.

13 Mar 2017 13:13:06
It really would depend on Lambert's influence on the team. If he is the problem and they are playing with fear, for example, his departure could enhance the players chances of playing better. If Lambert would be replaced by someone of the same mindset then there is no point. With Thelwell and Rob Edwards there we would be likely to see the same mindset.

13 Mar 2017 13:37:43
No point sacking the manager the players are the problem, they are not good enough. Why do people think that these players are not playing to there full ability and a new manager will suddenly turn them into a promotion chasing squad and on to a decent premier team. We need a clear out from top to bottom has none of our teams are good enough.

13 Mar 2017 14:18:26
We need more of Mendes input and less of Thellwells. I'm positive this time a top foreign coach will be brought in like Fosun wanted in the first place but he went to Spain.

13 Mar 2017 15:14:38
I have no problem with Thelwell being moved out but I have concerns about an agent being utilised as an advisor - this is a clear conflict of interest. There are plenty of football men who aren't so conflicted who could advise/ come in as a director of football who have vast knowledge of the English game who will only line their own pocket with a salary and not commission as well.

13 mar 2017 23:30:17
Wolves fans do you all agree, that for us to be an established side in the premier, which fosen want, we have to get rid of the backroom amateurs who are ruining our football club. they are clearly not good enough although they try their hardest.

Thelwell has to go, is recruitment of second rate players who i have to say are the worst i have seen for many a year are inexcusable, nobody in their right mind can say that performance saturday was a good football match and in my opinion should be refunded there money for watching it.

Lambert says it's the result that matters nothing else, i am glad we won i have to say but i would of liked him to tell the truth about the performance of the players, to be honest there's not one i would say get in a premiership team and that is laughable to think of the money we have spent.

Lambert needs Liverpool and Stoke performances to get we out this mess against 2 hard matches coming up Brentford and Fulham if he gets results against these then i will congratulate him and maybe start to believe in him.

13 Mar 2017 12:02:48
Including the last premier league season we have had 7 managers in 6 seasons and jacket managed 3 of those fosun first off need to get someone on board with football nous a director of football type who knows the league and the club step forward kenny hibbitt a manager not a coach needs to be put in place the current coaching staff need to be replaced a style of football and formation needs to be identified and played through all levels at the club and finally a leader needs to be found not only for 90 minutes on a match day but for what he can pass on to the kids at compton so fosun show the ambition and sell the vision to john terry.

13 Mar 2017 13:06:34
I mentioned John Terry as a potential signing last week and people laughed at me but the fact is he will be leaving Chelsea in the summer, he wants to remain in the UK and he can't ever contemplate playing against Chelsea, therefore a team in the Premier League is a no go which then leaves the likes of us and Villa who have rich owners to try and convince him that his leadership qualities are required.

13 Mar 2017 13:55:00
Jas if we don't think big we never will be big.

13 Mar 2017 19:00:23
We need whoever spoke to Paul Ince and Dennis Irwin back on the recruitment team.

13 Mar 2017 19:12:04
Very good point Bigste!

13 Mar 2017 11:10:18
Yes we all had dream inAugust. No doubt the players did as well. But realistically they know we aren't going up and even if we did they will know they won't be part of it because they are struggling at this level. Into this add numerous changes of manager and Fosun being pretty clueless. Uncertainty and incompetence is a killer in performance terms whatever business you are in. A competent manager could have stabilised us but we have got someone who changes half the team every match and plays people out of position and doesn't seem tactically astute. Dream on that some day we will have sanity restored and regain a competitive edge.

13 Mar 2017 09:29:20
August 2016 I had a dream. But inside 7 months the dream had disappeared and became a nightmare. 3 managers and a fourth one likely soon. Clueless and rudderless, this side has to go down as one of the worst 3 Wolves teams that I've witnessed in 56 years. Players played out of position, out of form, one striker up front, forever changing personnel. Enough is enough! Bye bye Lambert, Thelwell and Shi. And take the dross with you.
I wanted Silva back in the pre-Lambert days and still do. It's odds on Rowett will go to Derby. So where does that leave us? Oh, back to my dream. Now then, Senor Luis Enrique, your office is this way and the open cheque book is on the desk. Don't I f***** wish.

13 Mar 2017 10:43:25
Wondering what are the worse teams than this one. Deano's team was pretty bad but surely the team that lost to Chorley must take the biscuit? (And I know it was the start of the Bully era)
