Mick is gone. We don't put all of our eggs in one basket anymore. Just because Chris Wood has turned us down it doesn't mean we're not looking to sign someone else. Van La Parra looks like a good signing on a free so why not trust the scouting team to come up with a good striker?

I agree with you. We've seen too many rated players come to Wolves and have got lazy. Better to have eager players even if it means we don't buy instant success. This is the first team in years that really look like they all want to play to win not just pick up their pay packet.

Chris Wood declines contract and its all the boards fault? Did you not learn anything during our demise? A few seasons ago we would of given into his demands and he would now be sitting in the 'bomb squad' We didn't get him and now we must move on. I'd like any of the following Sam Baldock or Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Max Clayton for the future. If we don't sign anyone during the window, expect loans to buy like we did last season.

Bournemouth don't have millions of £ worth of Mick's dross hanging around draining over 100k per week from the club in wages.
