I would like to know how this nonsense about the fans putting too much pressure on the team has developed in to a major factor for atrocious home form.
The majority fans just expected improvement on last seasons position. There are a minority who expected bigger things after the takeover but most of us accepted we were in transition and just want a bit of improvement and entertainment. We have been given neither and mini cup run aside it has been an awful season that could get worse.
If these players can't cope with that sort of "pressure" how the hell do they expect to cope if they ever got in to the playoffs (lol) . After all lambert was telling us he thought it could be done up until a few weeks ago.
I think it's absolutely scandalous that some are trying to put the blame on to the support for this pathetic team. I've supported the wolves since the late 1970's and let me tell you I've seen a lot more rubbish than gems over the years. There's not many supporters in the country would keep turning up like us after all our let downs and false dawns.

Who has been saying it?
Is it in a news article if so which one?
Thanks.

12 Mar 2017 15:01:35
It's been mentioned many times by different people on radio WM, it's also been in the e&s about the home atmosphere been edgy and home "pressure ". On the WM nightly phone in I've even heard wolves fans saying we are to blame for the home form! Lambert said something about it in yesterday's post match interview but then followed it up with a comment praising the fans, but I personally think it shouldn't be mentioned in the first place as it's a nonsensical excuse for poor home form.

12 Mar 2017 18:25:26
One of my main worries IS THAT we play 6 of our last 9 games at home when pressure and nerves will come in to play. Players feel the tension from the crowds.

12 Mar 2017 19:11:58
These players don't know what pressure is it's having a low paid job and making ends meet that's pressure these players need to get a life they don't now what pressure is.

12 Mar 2017 20:38:47
What do all the top teams have in common? Top management and staff. Then it follows you can attract the best players. This is just common sense! This also means big changes in this area should take place at our club to start moving in the right direction if we go for it. It's going to take time and money, but needs to happen at the end of this season at the very least! We can only be as good as the people leading us right!? ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘โšฝ๏ธ
Mr Marco Silva to start with please.

12 Mar 2017 20:46:40
We need a complete restructure on and off the pitch. A quality boss to attract quality players. โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‰.

12 Mar 2017 20:06:24
It's all relative. Someone on a low paid job doesn't have thousands of people shouting obscenities at them if they make a simple honest mistake.

12 Mar 2017 20:07:35
The saying is "If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen! "
They get paid enough for gawds sake, we the fans are not their enemy but we expect effort and desire from each one of them.

12 Mar 2017 20:56:25
Agreed they are way overpaid WOLF, but I still think in front of thousands, they know what is at stake and CAN be scared to make a mistake so there game suffers.

12 Mar 2017 21:45:41
McClaren sacked by Derby. Hope his name is not put forward.

13 Mar 2017 06:42:51
The home crowd is the elephant in the room, I speak to fans of opposing teams who say they just need to hold us for 30 mins and the the home fans will get on the players backs . The atmosphere on sat was at best tepid with guys around me loving the opportunity to scream abuse . We need to get behind the team for the sake of our younger players and rebuild in the summer .

13 Mar 2017 08:28:50
I do agree with you Onnishead we have the same by us in the North BAnk Upper. They just scream abuse at everything and anything. Obviously their personal lives are crap so this is their outlet as you cannot reason with them.
i do believe they are over paid under achievers but yes as fans we need to show our support just like we didn't get on Costa's back when he missed his penalty
It is time for fans to stop the neurosis and be strong
Is that the actual Mission Impossible?

12 Mar 2017 12:23:04
What's the idea of players out of position Saville at LB is a joke with Doherty more suited in that position all season and Coady playing RB then CM against Ipswich and back to RB
Lambert out of is depth. Clueless!

12 Mar 2017 14:06:42
We have enough natural full backs at the club, there shouldn't be a need to put players there out of position.
As you say Doherty has been one of our better players this season at full back so it's all a bit puzzling.
That kid from Man Utd was dropped and rightfully so at the time he wasn't playing well, but he hasn't had a chance since lambert came and I'm sure he would be a better option and give us more going forward than Saville. I doubt we will get any more players on loan from Utd after the way he has been treated.

12 Mar 2017 17:22:42
We have no had a decent left back since we sold Golbourne.

12 Mar 2017 22:15:01
Not had a good one since "Squeak" Parkin!

12 Mar 2017 22:48:35
These players strengths cry out to be deployed in a system similar to that used by Chelsea. Back three, with Williamson in the middle taking control. Hause natural on left and Coady on the right. Wing backs choose two from Iorfa, Doherty, Marshall and Borthwick -Jackson, all better going forward than defending.

Two defensive midfielders Saisse and one other from Price or Evans (Connor Rohan if he was fit) . Need someone to hold their position so would probably opt for Evans over Price. Front three with Costa and Cavallero allowed to operate like Hazard and Pedro, looking to drift inside with Bodvardson or Dicko being outlet ball.

Not going to be a world beater but at least will pose far more threat than what we posed against Rotherham.

13 Mar 2017 07:50:56
No Edwards Scottish wolf? I agree he needs resting even on good days the ball stays in midfield and the strikers don't see enough of it I think Lambert keeps Edwards in the team and Saville because they score or used to anyway.

12 Mar 2017 08:22:43
Just read one of the Nationals, one headline states, 'Lamb To The Slaughter' our new owners are lookin for a foreign coach with championship experience? No smoke without fire! Sleep easy Wolves fans Lamberts days are numbered! It's not if he's sacked its when ๐Ÿ‘.

12 Mar 2017 09:28:14
Paul which national paper was that in please?

12 Mar 2017 09:39:07
And which one might that be?

12 Mar 2017 10:28:35
Very few foreign coaches have been effective in the Championship. However, if Middlesbrough are getting itchy feet with Karanka, as has been reported recently, I would be very happy to see him down the Molineux.

12 Mar 2017 11:21:28
S-n on Sunday, linked with ex Watford boss and Fulham boss ๐Ÿ‘ Il be happy with either.

12 Mar 2017 12:33:14
The Sun, as much as i want it to be true i wouldn't believe anything that paper prints.

12 Mar 2017 12:45:21
Prefer link with Silva. Good job Helda had a crap game with Chelsea and Arsenal scouts watching him. โšฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘.

12 Mar 2017 14:02:34
Thanks Paul.

12 Mar 2017 16:27:13
If it's ex Watford and current Fulham manager Jokanovic that would be alright as he's experienced promotion. Watford have had more managers since Taylor than Wolves so there are many out there. Not sure about Flores, he has a touch of Zenga about him moving clubs regularly for personal reasons.
Aidy Boothroyd also experienced promotion with Watford but he's not a foreigner.
As others have mentioned Silva and Karanka would be good shouts.
No experience in the Championship but I'm sure Mikel Arteta is going to make a good young manager one day. Speaks English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. Potential to sign big players as he's good mates with Xabi Alonso. and for the extra Fosun bonus point he's year of the dog!

12 Mar 2017 20:11:03
How about John Terry out of contract end of the season or better still Denis Bergkamp, , , , now I like the sound of DB more I think about it he is assistant at Ajax I think.

13 Mar 2017 11:00:33
Here's a name for a DOF Carlos Queiroz, he's a client of Mendez, I'm sure he would add more to the club than Thelwell.

12 Mar 2017 07:23:18
its obvious to every body that something is deeply wrong in the dressing room playing with one up front against a side who has managed just 1 point all season away from home sums it up we are scared why because we have no faith in our defence that said give williamson the captains armband and see the difference, well took goal by weimann yesterday but what else did he do we kept lumping balls up in the air to him (much the same as we do with dicko) and h had no chance against a 6ft 6 centre half need to take a serious look at there selves them players do not seen the golden palace so on edge for a while now things have to get better me myself think should have kept zenga more attacking under him and loads better to watch!

12 Mar 2017 06:57:32
Does anyone seriously think Lambert is not part of the problem. He roasted Bod for not keeping the ball and then we had 2 corners when we had a chance to put the game to bed where we tried to keep it in the corner and lost it anyway. The man is scared and put out the most defensive team possible. This has affected the players. I don't want him here next season. And what has Doherty done wrong to be replaced by Saville?

12 Mar 2017 07:25:25
well said sir lambert is part of the problem the thing about doherty is his attitude getting pissed in bridgenorth with mason every week isn't helping him needsto take a look at his self as do many others down there!

12 Mar 2017 07:26:14
Lambert is a major problem and should be sacked immediately. if he stays well๐Ÿ˜จ The Futures Dull The Futures Lambo! ๐Ÿ‘Ž.

12 Mar 2017 09:36:03
We were lucky in the FA cup as Lambert selected youngsters in place of senior players, so I wonder whether is was using it as a practice game as he didn't expect to beat Liverpool.

12 Mar 2017 06:33:43
The playing of 3 centre halves is long overdue so fair play to lambert for utilising it however iorfa and doc should be the wing backs it was a must win game and at least we managed that we all know a massive clearout is required regardless of what division we find ourselves in.

12 Mar 2017 08:50:40
We played a team who have one away point out of 51 in the championship! Should of played 442, piss poor performance but the positive is its a game closer to Lambert going ๐Ÿ‘.

13 Mar 2017 09:17:28
What another mess we are in. Brentford and Fulham next games away.
We will have to improve 100 % to get anything from the Rotherham game, Lambert is turning out to be a crap boreing manager with football which is hard to watch, and when in January he said he didn't need strikers, that made my mind up for me, that we had sighned another numpty of a coach/ manager whatever you want to call him, when is it going to end, stadium, fan base, academy and rich owners all in place, BUT THE TWO THINGS WE HAVE NOT GOT, IS A FOOTBALL TEAM AND NOBODY WHO NOWS HOW TO RUN ONE.
THIS MY FRIENDS CAN ONLY HAPPEN TO OUR FOOTBALL CLUB.
