It would get to 9pm Christmas Eve and oh no, Santa's having second thoughts, or it might not even be Santa and could just be someone else not as good but with a very similar name, and one of the reindeer's failed it's fitness test - it could take (upto) 3 weeks to sort it all out and it might not even happen at all.
I bet he was still doing it right through to Boxing Day, and only announced Christmas had happened after they agreed to give him a 10% split of the presents he gave them, and they all accepted he had to stay in charge of Christmas's going forward.

Dunno bout you but something stinks with this deal. three weeks! The season would have started and no new players but what really worries me is money staying on. that can't be right. I think there's a lot more to this that we haven't even heard yet. one more thing as well why haven't we heard anything from either Mr li, mr loptegui or indeed the all powerful Mr Mendez and don't give me any rubbish about non disclosure agreements. were talking about some of the wealthiest and influential men on the planet.

Right now, this is possibly (hopefully) the closest to Blofeld Moxey is ever going to get, having the knowledge that's it's all sorted, knowing we are desperate to be told but dragging it out and not telling us, even pretending off-record to the Telegraph and others that it's weeks away and that the deal isn't even agreed.
I bet he stopped off at Harrods and bought himself a monocle and a white cat to stroke for the train journey home. And it explains his pale suit in that photo today too.

All the people on here who claim to be ITK know nothing it's on its off there are 2 owners nobody actually apart from Morgsn Moxey and Li actually know anything wolves true to form will throw everything away. I hope this happens soon if at all or I don't fancy our chances next year, no time for new players until January we will be too far from play offs/ automatic so will be another drab year.

I'll be totally honest now and say outright that I don't mind if Moxey stays at the club after the takeover. He may not be liked by many however his remit is to run the club within a budget and not let us spiral into debt, which he has achieved. If he stays, he will probably have the same remit albeit a larger budget to play with. Also, I wouldn't mind if Jackett stays. I know people says that he was tactically inept last season, however I think that he was hampered by the fact that the players brought in were not of his choosing but Thelwells and they were forced upon Kenny to utilise and try to get them to adapt to fit into his system. Thelwell appears to be the major problem.

I totally agree mate well said as much as moxey as hampered things in the pass he has done brilliantly to balance the books and keep us in the black I would keep him on but the new owner should have totall say in how much transfer money is available to spend. But on another note the lack of communication from the club to fans regarding this take over is shocking there wouldn't be any club without us fans.

If reports are correct and the takeover is 3 weeks away I would suggest next season will be a write off season again as there will be no time to forge any sort of team before the transfer deadline, so it will be a January influx probably to try and avoid relegation.

According to an article in the Telegraph this evening, it's a Jorge Mendes and Li consortium and the take over could be completed in 3 weeks if all goes well. Also, it states that Moxey will remain as CEO. I wonder what is really happening; is the Telegraph right or not? If so, we've a bl**dy long way to go yet!

Telegraph (which is normally a reliable source of Wolves rumours) stating Li takeover brokered by Mendes moving slowly. Jacket going but Thelwell and Moxey to stay at least for time being. Newplayers suggeted but movements on hold. Full takeover may not be completed until end of month.

According to the telegraph website updated 20 minutes ago, robin li has seen off a rival bid to get Wolves and moxey is currently with the fa proving available funds. Moxey will also keep his job as part of the deal.

Impossible to know if that's from original direct source and reliable, or if it's just a summary of various rumours and Paul Franks WMRadio piece earlier today (that apparently also claimed it would be weeks) . Doesn't make sense it would take that long though, as if it is at FA / EFL for approval, I'd assume the deal must already be agreed.
Overall good news, again confirms it's Robin Li, but then Moxey stays. My problem with Moxey is his vision for the club (him saying we should be like urban Everton and his Moneyshop deal prove he misunderstands what Wolves is and has got wrong vision for it) . And his relationship with fans that is so bad, that especially after stitching us up with Moneyshop, I don't think can ever be repaired enough to be turned around into an asset.
So even if Robin Li keeping him on isn't just a stop-gap till things are sorted and is with best intentions to keep Moxey permanently, I think over time he'll realise the bird will fly much higher and happier without Moxey's weight and all his baggage on board.

Just saw Jez Moxey go into a red phone box in London, he was dressed in a smart suit and geeky glasses. A second later a bloke came out wearing a skin tight blue suit and red knickers. He smelt of urine but, regardless, he literally flew across the road to Chinatown and into the RobLi and Duck restaurant where he tucked into pretty much the whole menu, then had the staff send out for extra pies from the North Cornish Pasty Co over in Soho. This was near the old FA offices so I was wondering if it means we are being taken over by a Cornish Fisherman conglomerate and being instantly promoted to the Premier League beforehand season starts? We're not supposed to be a rough joke club though, Billy Wright wasn't, SJH wasn't, they had class. And the town needs an up market image again, it used to be Queen of the Black Country.
Apart from money, Ding Lei offers nothing other than an embarrassing nick-name association that facilitates us being ridiculed and portrayed as down market. He has no links with or experience outside of China so isn't at all Western, he made his money not through innovation like Robin Li, but simply because the Chinese internet is a closed market and he had the access to it so Western Companies had to license their internet products (like PC games) through Ding Lei to get them into Chinese market, he's just a middle man who's creamed off the top. And in December he was investigating investing in Zimbawe! (compared to Robin Li, who same year was made Co-Chair of a UN commission) .
There's really no comparison, Robin Li is good news in every sense, Ding Lei is just money and then potentially really negative stuff.

It looks highly likely it's Robin Li not Ding Lei, it looks like the Chinese news site was reporting what they read in European news reports, trying to make Chinese involvement in Euro football sound as big as possible, they got confused, adding in the Ding Lei E&S story from December.
That Spanish agent previously said directly it was Robin Li buying Wolves, and on Wolves fancast twitter, James Fielden (a sports journalist who is a Wolves fan) has said the same and according to his sources he reckons it is Robin Li not Ding Lei.
