The Under 21's drew 0-0 against Manchester United, despite being ten men down for 80 minutes. DS was at the match.

Gibo.

A view from a United fans' site claimed Ismail Zeli had made a fantastic start to the game. only to be sent off after 10 min. Food for thought?

Man of the match was a lad called Tank. great performance.

Sounds like a great result whichever way you look at it.

Ismail did look good but an awful tackle on Smalling and a deserved red card. I was very impressed with Jamie Tank. Just a shame that Ismail's sending off meant Wolves had to revert to defending but they did this very well and also created a few chances on the break. Well done!

great result for the u21's 0-0 v Manchester United ismail got sent off in the 10th min defending for 80mins well done lads

Discussion on U21 performance would be good.

Brilliant! Lou Macari and co-commentator full of praise for 10 men Wolves team that held out for 82 minutes against United side with a number of first team experienced players. Back four really solid with central pairing of Iehikwe and Tank restricting opposition to two attempts. First team could learn great deal from way team kept shape and midfield forced Utd to shift ball across pitch and never able to play incisive final ball. Our keeper didn't have shot to save. Looked quite good on break with McAlinden working tirelessly and Cranston bursting forward from LB even in final minutes. lot of positives for watching DS to ponder on.

Crankston looks a quality defender, wolves defended fantastic tonight, man u had smalling, Anderson and butner playing, well done to the under 21 s a good point!!!

You mean cranston not crankson same as reckord everyone calls him reckford

Yes Cranston had a great game as did all the defence, was really impressed well done boys!!

Wake up and smell the roses we keep playing a Division 3 keeper. fact!. it starts from the very back

11 Mar 2013 20:03:41
U21 on MUTV. 0 - 0 at half time. Ismail sent off for bad tackle on Smalling after 10 minutes in which he and team had looked promising. Backs against wall now but can see what some of our youngsters are made of. Worth a watch.

Job Vacancy

With Brian McDermott leaving his post at Reading can any anyone using this site please help Deano with updating his CV, please add as much as you can so he can walk into that job and leaves our club.

A few pointer to help you

1) Do not forget to add to his experience "never been relegated from the premiership yet, although highly successful in achieving relegation from the championship

2) Pay the taxi driver for a return fare and get them to bring McDermott back once they have dropped DS off

3) Tell everyone in Reading that "The future is bright, the future is Deano"

PS: Finally, the prayer mat appears to be working

Get McDermot in, great manager, especially at this level!

I think we tapped him a year ago but he decided to stay at Reading.

Get ready for the Brian Mcdermott brigade. EBW

"Other than the goals, forest didn't have that many chances".

Nice one Dean, WE LOST 3-1!

The guy never ceases to amaze me in his deluded comments and inept tactics.
This guy is the worst manager we have had in the 22 years I have supported the club. And that is saying something.

Get rid

And how many other managers in the same position say the same things?
So tell us what other chances did Forest have and I would guess heavily that you would not have a clue as to how many near chances we had, basically because either you did not go to the match or your filters wouldn't even be interested in anything positive a Saunders team does.

How can he keep saying that we had chances that should have gone in? Truth is Dean - they didn't and we lost! Sort it out for God's sake!

READING are looking for a new manager - I hope they come in for Dean Saunders!

I wish we could perform on the pitch as good as the rubbish you spout - he talks such a good game without any substance - well qualified for next year though same as the backroom staff - he makes terry connor look like Sir Alex

You may recall when you appointed Deano that I did say he talked a good game. BUT. Not that I'm too happy to be proved right as I do want Wolves to stay up.

Heard a rumour from a mate that Alan Curbishley only turned the job down because Moxey and Morgan wouldn't allow him to bring his own back room staff with him, I know this is old hat' but if that's true then it could only be down to the 2m's not wanting to pay people's contracts up. if this is true, it just goes to show how this club is being ran down in the chase for saving money. time for Moxey to go'and that's a minimum we should protest for as fans,
This guy along with the owner is strangling the life out of the club, Moxey out, Saunders out.

In their quest to save money they have ended up paying far more.

We should of protested a long while ago but wolves fans today are nothing compared to the old guard. we just accept anything, we mite moan but we won't do anything about it.

You might remember too at the time that Moxey stated he wanted someone with "Wolves DNA" to fill the manager vacancy. Well we certainly got that. Apparently both job offers (if it ever amounted to that) for Bruce and Curbs were just a fiasco.

If we hit League 1, Moxey should hit the road jack, pronto. No room for a £550,000 a year failure in the Champo let alone L1.

I have a friend that works in the commercial department at Wolves. He has just text me to say that with the initial Early Bird deadline being tonight, Wolves have sold just below 4400 season tickets, compared with 12300 on the same day last year. The fans are voting with there feet Mr Morgan. If you have a shread of decency in your body please find a buyer for our club. Someone that is interested, the club is dying before our very eyes and i'm afraid there is only one person to blame. For us Wolves fans of a certain age, does the words Bhatti brothers fill you with dread and anger. Because I hate to say it, but here we go again. Very very sad times to be a Wolves fan.

11 Mar 2013 14:05:12
Right then. how many wolves fans have looked at things this way. how many bad decisions has Morgan made since THAT game against the Albion?. that result could of just been another result in our history. but cus our chairman ant got a clue what he's doing he sacked Merlin mick (what we used to call him b4 that game) didn't av no1 lined up Lied about Bruce. put Tc in a no win situation. brought in SS. a untested manager who let's be honest his management and tactics DO NOT work in the English championship. proven with the run up to crimbo. given the players crimbo off. and defeat to Luton to name just a few points. sacked him same time as he sacked MM. then apoint his mate DS. club slide down the leauge even more. MM took over at Ipswich we were in the top 5 if my memories right Ipswich were bottom of the league. Now where are they and us come to mention it? That game with the help off our mr Morgan HAS destroyed our club. like it not some fans will say I'm wrong but the facts speak for them selves. morgan u come u tried u failed please sell up.

We need a football owner morgan has been a joke

-Wolves banter-
I think that we may get relegated -
Lose to Bristol were 75% relegated in my eyes
The must wins are
Brum
Bristol
Hull
Boro

we need 4 or more wins [Atleast] with some draws!
IF we lose to bristol I think we are going down and have our first team sold for around [10-20million]
and have to restart with batth docherty zeli mceldrin and cassidy and maybe davis too.

another thing IF! we get relegated does anyone see batth getting sold? I think he may, I think he is quality for his age and wouldn't be suprised if a good team scooped him up and trained him.

The odds on us going down are rubbish. Like evens. The bookies have us with one foot in L1 already.
