Good to see Edwards starting the same way as he finished the season. Obviously relishing the role he has been given.

We see all to clearly the problems you get buy buying players for overpriced fees and wages, surely you are not advocating do the same all over again .I cannot see many poor decisions since Kenny took over, the guy knows what he is doing .

Thoughts on Doyle being relegated to the so called bomb squad. Personally on the basis we haven't signed another striker yet I think this is a little premature
Lets face it, the guy doesn't score goals so we might as well any half decent striker up front.
He couldn't even scored Div 1.

Fulham linked to maguire now. they are throwing money at going back up.
Lets forget Muguire, we have the young lad we signed from Wycomelast season Huese, he is a big strong young centre half and is a very good prospect. He will play in the friendlies and I think we will see he is more than capable for the championship. He will be great along side Danny, so let's move on and forget about Muguire. Another Centre forward need though, someone who can poach in the box from six yards.

I saw hause in reserves last season and he looked pretty poor tbh, didn't go last night as on holiday so I'm not sure how he played

What is everyone's realistic expectations for the coming season?
I would be happy with top half finish, any thing extra, a bonus, anything less, a disappointment.

Same as you. A season of consolidation will do for me and then push on next year.
Stuff consolidation. The team should go as far as it can. If Southampton could do it and Norwich could do it, so can we.

Agreed. Don't want to see us panicking about promotion. Concentrate on getting this team playing as well as it can. We're not ready for Premier football yet but maybe that will change as the season goes on. The first few matches will be a big clue.
