Good result, but I would never have picked that team.I can't follow his logic.I would have thought Doyle and Griffiths would have played up front, but we had Griffiths up front, and packed with midfielders, but we won so what do I know.
I thought the same. 1 upfront is not ideal at home If Dicko arrives we must play him up front (not wide right as in his previous Wolves spell) with perhaps Griffiths or Macca just behind. I fear yesterdays smooth performance against a quality L1 side spelsl the end for Doyle. Incidentally, as a regular Reserves/U21 watcher it was nice to see Macca show he has got the pace for L1.
He won't play on the Rw we have Henry, so he must be getting him as a striker

Saddens me to say this, but time to move Doyle on and reinvest his salary on more effective players at this level. Jay Emanuel-Thomas, Donalsdon, Woods?

Agree time to move Doyle on and sako, good result Saturday, getting is own side together and moving players on who seam to have been the problem at wolves with there attitudes

Good stuff from both. But why do our goals now come from midfield or defence?
I totally agree. Dave Edwards always gives 100% and undeservedly gets stick from some fans on here. He's been unlucky with injuries but great box to box player. Brilliant result today - McDonald, golbourne and henry outstanding. All round team performance but still don't think griffiths is cut out for the lone striker role.
The only bad thing with Eddo is that he can't pass 20 yards plus
One performance glosses over how many years of inept showings. some people make me laugh
Edwards had his best game all season but is not the answer for wolves

Anyone seen the article on wolves website about Zeli loan foley and big George?
Just read it, as disappointed as I am about Zeli going out I agree he needs game time and setting him a target to play well and work his way back into are team is a good idea worked similar to what he did with Jacobs
What I don't get is why he rates big George he is a lovely bloke very dedicated I agree but he has no skill, can't turn and smashes the ball every time I and most people I have spoke to said he was poor at filling ham yet Kenny has said he was solid and be remains in his plans as a cb?
I personally would much rather see foley used at rb he would do well in this league and is a similar player to Doherty wanting to link up and attack butt instead he is available for loan?

Sorry but George has always been a centre half, seem to remember a couple of decent performances in premier league from him at centre half. Too slow to be a full back he always looks like he is running in mud. BUT you can't fail to love him, never doubt his commitment.

Agree with all you both say. I get nervous when George is out there, but he does ok but only ok. Maybe that's all that's needed at this level. With his build, no, he won't be a speedy wing back.
Foley on the other hand has the ability. Unfortunately his performances last season were woeful and he hasn't managed to get back to the form that got us promoted. Hard to see him staying much longer.
